Changing the Love of the Past

Changing the Love of the Past

I read the materials one by one repeatedly in order to remember them tomorrow.

"I hope what I read tonight comes out on the exam question."

Bi Atum brought me a glass of milk because I asked Bi Atum to make it.

"It's non, the hot milk."

"Yes thanks bi, just put it on the table. I'll have a drink."

"A serious girl?"

"Yes, tomorrow there's a test. That's why I told my aunt to make me milk, so that tonight I'll get more excited about learning."

"Say, miss, you're going to go up to second grade?"

"Yes, pray that tomorrow's exam will go well."

"Yes non, aunty will always pray miss."

Aunt Atum was like a second mother to me, because she always accompanied me when playing and helped me in learning. Aunty never went to school, even to recognize letters that to me easily aunty could not. But if it's a matter of counting-counting the other champion's aunt. When I was in elementary school, I used to ask my aunt for help with math.

"If that aunt comes down first non, there's still work downstairs. The spirit of learning."

"Yes bi, thank you."

I refocused on my reading.

Now I sit quietly in my chair. All children also look tense when the teacher shares a sheet about the Indonesian language test. I could hear the voice of someone from behind me whispering to the others asking for help.

"Read it carefully, if you are sure the answer has just been filled. You get each other's problems, so I hope no sound is heard. No one's cheating, until I get someone to cheat on you I'll report to the principal." The supervisor said firmly.

"You got it?"

"Understand sir." Answer all students in the class.

"Now you can start!" The supervising teacher returned to his seat.

The kids are busy reading about each other. Leo also gets more serious about taking exams. After being with us he began to study.

I read these questions with great precision. There are numbers that are so difficult, but because I learned last night, I think I can do it.

Srak srak

Now in that class only heard the sound of the opening sheet. What an exam mood so felt. Even outside the class it was quiet.

Without feeling, time goes by so quickly, the sound of the first hour's break bell begins. We collect all the answer sheets and questions one by one when our names are called in order. After the teacher left the classroom, the room came back boisterous.

Loly and Sita approached me

"What about that?"

"Lumayan, who I read last night is also out on the matter."

"Good dong, I didn't learn last night." Sita

"I'm asking Loly for answers, the rest of them are using my mainstay." I know what Sita's mainstay is.

"How I don't love, the person he is beside me and calls me on. Yeah I had to teach her more than her voice caught by the supervisor. I also have to." I chuckled at Loly's words.

"You didn't teach me, you didn't teach me,"

"If I'm not sincere how I might love you."

An inexhaustible fight. But those fights are common in friendship circles. Fussing over something that is actually simple but exaggerated. Defending one of them is also not necessary. At best it subsides on its own.

"Leo, what about that? Is something difficult?" I asked Leo who happened to be sitting facing the three of us.

"It's normal."

"Leo probably didn't read it. He was just shocked." Loly.

"What do you know?"

"Already, rather than you fuss, mending study there, briefly test history."

"You learn anything, my people don't book one down."

"Yes, learn from home. Yeah, we've been to the cafeteria, if you guys want to nitip something just say it."

"Nothing at all," I looked at Leo who answered him with a headband.

Loly immediately pulled Sita's hand out of the classroom. In that class there was only me and Leo left. Friends in the canteen.

"You're not going?" Ask Leo whose seat is still facing me.

"Whether I go, if you're alone here."

"So why don't you go, 'cause you want me?"

"No, the reason I come with you all the time is to take care of you."

I who initially only focused on my study book now stared in wonder at Leo's sudden words. His words sounded like someone declaring love instead. Leo smiled when he saw my expression.

"Why so seriously." Leo rubbed my head gently.

"Leo, don't you like me anymore." Hearing my sudden words like that, Leo chuckled.

"Why are you laughing, I'm serious."

"If I like you how?"

"I hope your feelings aren't any more, because I'm more comfortable that we're in office."

Leo's expression was startled, but after that he smiled. The change in expression was so quick.

"Not to worry, let's continue your studies, I want to sleep for a while. If the bell comes in, don't forget to wake me up."

Leo buried his head in both hands. It seems like he really fell asleep. I concentrated on my book again.
