I told him to stop before approaching the house.

"I'll just get down here."

"Why get down here? Let me drive you to the front of the house." Leo's face was confused.

"Don't bother okay. Let me down here. You better go home. But thank you in advance for driving me."

I got in as soon as the black car left. I made sure of the surroundings. Papa came home because his car was in the garage. I chose to follow the back door that was connected to the kitchen. I peeked in and around me to make sure everyone was actually sleeping. I immediately went upstairs but stayed on my tiptoes so that the sound of my footsteps would not be heard.

The lights in my room are off. I was confused to see the dark condition of my room, even though before leaving the lights still lit. I searched the light switch by fumbling on the wall to turn on the lights.

"Where are you from?"

Gee... I'm busted.

Papa was sitting on the sofa while looking at me sharply. Papa's face looks very scary.

"Do you know what time it is?"

"Ma. a. a. pa." I dare not look at Papa's face.

"You're a girl, it's not good to go out at night. What if something happens to you?"

Just this time I scolded papa. I felt my feet tingling and trembling with fear. I wanted to cry, but my tears didn't come out either.

I walked up to Leo who was still asleep at his desk. The reason every time he comes to school he always sleeps, it turns out he must go straight to the office to take care of his work.
