This is where I was, down the edge of the green lake whose scenery made me sad a little less. I could not speak, harboring this sadness alone. By taking a deep breath and taking it out slowly, I felt my burden lessen. 

"Where should I find the best doctor for my mom?" I thought about my mother's condition. 

Suddenly my phone rang, as soon as I grabbed it from my pocket and saw who was calling me, Ariel's name was on the screen. 

"Hem, what's wrong?" 

"Mba why?" 

"No one to worry about, what's calling me?" 

"There's a high school reunion, I want to come along as my lover." 

"Aren't you ashamed to introduce me to your friends, I'm even more suited to being your sister or aunt." 

"I've said the same thing, if I prefer a grown woman to her age or at her age far below me." 

"Originally you're mentally prepared." My chuckle, as if my sadness was gone when Ariel called me. 

"Where's MBA? I'll pick you up!" 

"When's the show?"

"Tonight." 

"Still a long time, pick me up later tonight." 

"I'm picking it up now, period."

I clucked in annoyance, Ariel behaved as she pleased and began to organize my free life. I took a breath and took it out slowly, calming my mind as well as my heart. 

"Prophe Iren, this is a trial." My monologue is encouraging myself. 

"Darling, why are you here? I mean, I should've accompanied." Said Ariel who was in a daze, seeing some men who had been watching Iren. For the sake of replying to the men who dared to look at his woman, deliberately hugging and kissing Iren's cheek.

"Hey, what are you doing?" whispered Iren who was embarrassed if Ariel kissed her cheek in front of others. 

"Because the rats are staring at you, and from now on I'm calling you darling. Hows it? That sounds perfect." 

"Don't tell me you're jealous." 

"Is it still unclear?" 

I swallowed the saliva with great difficulty, never in my mind being in a relationship with a man who was younger, even thinking about it never.

"Don't take this seriously, because we're just pretending, symbiotic mutualism."

It looked like a hint of disappointment that Ariel described, but I did not want to give her hope or open my heart.

"Why don't you like me? What's my lack?" Ariel looked deeply into Iren's eyes, and tried to find the justification or love that was in his eyes, but she found nothing to be too disappointed. 

"It's .. This won't work." I immediately broke his spirit, lest he expect much. I stepped away from him, but he followed me from behind.

I stopped my steps and looked into his eyes. "Yes, that's one of the reasons I rejected you, you better find a woman whose age is below yours."

"Age has changed, age is not a benchmark reason to refuse, even though I am younger but my feelings are sincere."

I grinned faintly at Ariel's words, sweet words that would only lead to betrayal. Moreover, I am older than him, if I get tied up maybe many will laugh at him.

"Forget over this matter and let's go back to being the way it was, just a feigned lover for a month."
