I was silent as I glanced at Ariel, the question that actually referred to me. I pretended to be stupid and sipped the tea that was inside the cup.
"We're looking for babies." Ariel relaxed, pulled up a chair and sat down to enjoy the food she cooked.
Byurs!
Once again I spouted tea, and accidentally hit White's face. The smile on the girl's face turned sullen, while I stared at Ariel sharply trying not to muddy the atmosphere that actually already looked turbid.
"Are you not ashamed to talk about it in front of me?"
"Why indeed? You're not a kid anymore."
"Ck, my appetite is gone. You guys just continue!"
I looked at White's back that disappeared behind the door, immediately turning my eyes to the man next to me who was laughing thinking it was funny. I stomped his feet with all my might, venting out my frustration that must have caused another misunderstanding.
"Don't make things worse, it's the result if you keep making me angry."
"Well, I won't do it again."
"Good."
I was getting ready to go to the office, for sure my assistant needed me but he was reluctant to tell me the difficulty. This time I wore a short skirt over navy-colored knees, the top wearing a plain white shirt. I don't want to be complicated in any business, as usual, just a temporary hair, during the day I change the long hairdo in a random midget, because I like it.
"You're leaving in clothes like that?"
I jumped in shock when I heard the sound coming from the doorway, I saw Ariel who was still standing leaning next to her body to the door leaf, while her hands were folded forward with a look of investigating eyes.
"You surprised me."
"It's my style, there's no need to be pretentious to comment on it." Ariel always pisses me off at her, doesn't she realize that she's been offending my privacy.
"You're prettier in long pants or a long skirt."
"That's it, I don't want to talk about this." I passed away and left it alone, a very busy day not wanting me to break the mood I had started to reorganize.
Just when I got to the office, a doctor who was treating my mother suddenly called and made me very anxious and panicked. Once again I leave my job to my assistant, I do it because mom is more important than anything.
I walked slowly closer to my mother, the woman I miss so much.
"What about my mother's condition?" I asked Dr. Arvan.
I grew curious and kept staring at Doctor Arvan. "Can you say it? Don't just shut up! I'm afraid something happened to my mother." My words slightly raised the intonation of the voice.
"Thank God, your mother has shown her progress."
"What does that mean?"
"Your mother seemed to have gained a new spirit after the last day you came here."
"So you heard it?" I looked like I was thinking hard.
"Your mother got her spirit back to heal, and if it was well taken care of as well as giving her abundant affection, I'm sure Miss Desi can recover.
This news is very happy for me, it means that mother is healed. A lot of things I think about, about my mother's recovery, it turns out that the magic is really there. I threw a hug at the mother who was still feeling dazed and also confused.
"Mom, we'll be together soon. I miss everything that has to do with Mom, from the smallest to the greatest."
