31. Rian's affair turned out ...

Rian was sitting on a disco while gulping down a few glasses of liquor. Apparently Rian was upset after hearing Indri's statement earlier.

"Divorce. So she's getting a divorce. He thinks it's easy to divorce me. I'm not going to let go of Indri. He's mine and will forever be mine" Rian murmured many times.

While being drunk, Rian saw a female figure approaching towards him. Rian smiled when he found out that the woman was Indri, the wife he had been away from for some time and was now asking for a divorce from her.

"Hi Darling. Waiting for a long time ?" ask the woman spoiled.

"Father. Let it be long but I'll wait for you. Why just came ?" ask Rian.

"I'm busy" said the woman who turned out to be Ratna.

"Come, baby. I miss the same You Indriii ...," Rian pinta patted her thighs a sign he wanted the woman to sit on his lap.

"You're wrong to call again. I'm Ratna not Indri" Ratna said resentfully.

Ratna smiled then sat down on Rian's lap. He also enjoyed liquor in front of Rian with the same glass. While hearing the music, Ratna continued to look at Rian's face full of longing.

Ratna did admire Rian and did not care even though the man had married.

Ratna remembers how she first met Rian and then they became close like lovers.

Ratna meets Rian on the road as he returns home from a pilgrimage to Ricki's grave. Ratna's chaotic feelings left the girl unaware that she was walking too far into the middle and almost got hit by the car Rian was driving. Lucky Rian managed to control his car until it did not hit Ratna.

Rian also got down from the car to see Ratna's condition as well as reprimanding her. But when he saw Ratna's face wet with tears, Rian also realized that the woman was not okay.

Because of the conditions before night and the road began to be quiet, Rian took the initiative to take Ratna home. Ratna refused. But after weighing for a moment, Ratna finally accepted Rian's offer.

Ratna asks Rian to drive her home where she and Ricki plan to stay after marriage. It seems that at that time Ratna was longing for Ricki and wanted to be a little nostalgic by coming to their future palace of love.

The condition of the house remains neat and well maintained even though no one lives there. After Fitria and Aprilia were expelled from there, Ratna had yet to decide what to do with the house and its contents. Ratna only asked Kusno's boys to clean the house every day. Ratna also requested that all lighting in the house be lit up every night. As a result, upon arriving there Ratna and Rian found the house in bright conditions.

"For couples who are drunk with romance, there is no expensive word Mas. Aren't they ?" ratna asked as she stared at the house with teary eyes.

"Let's go in. Because I can't repay Mas Rian's kindness with materials, what if I make coffee," Ratna said kindly.

As Ratna walked into the kitchen to make coffee, Rian scanned the entire room closely. Somehow a strange sense of comfort slipped into his heart. That sense of comfort led Rian to sit down and close his eyes on the living room sofa.

Back when he and Ricki visited to arrange the house, Ricki often fell asleep in a sitting position due to fatigue. Then Ratna would approach Ricki while carrying a tray containing two cups of coffee and snacks just like that.

After sipping coffee, Rian resigned. Ratna did not prevent even though she was very eager to hold Rian in her house. Before Rian leaves, Ratna dares to ask for Rian's phone number. Unsuspecting Rian gave his mobile number away.

"It's okay to call me Ma'am" Rian said.

Rian nodded then immediately drove his car slowly away from the house.

Ratna also let go of Rian with a big smile. Then Ratna looked at Rian's WA profile picture on her phone. There Rian seemed to smile happily while hugging Indri from behind.

Ratna's smile faded suddenly as the phone she was holding rang. Ratna tried to catch her breath while correcting her facial expression when she found out it was Ricki's parents who contacted her.

"Assalamualaikum Ratna ...," greeted Ricki's mother from across the phone.

"Wa aleikumsalam's. Yeah, why Ma ?" ask Ratna.

"Where are you now, son ?. I haven't been back to the hotel room yet. I'm worried about you" said Ricki's mother.

"Again on the road, ma'am. In a moment I'll be at the hotel" said Ratna quickly.

"Yes that's it. Be careful son .." said Ricki's mother at the end of the sentence.

Ratna took a long breath. He had to go back to the hotel because he did not want to make his former in-laws anxious. It seems that after meeting Rian, Ratna knew what she had to do to forget her grief.
