34. Wet ...?

Adam was observing the object in his palm intensely. The thing that turned out to be Ratna's hair seemed to move by itself even though it was not touched once.

Adam flinched but smiled then as he saw the silhouette of a small-sized snake wriggling behind the hair strands.

"So this is what made Rian change" Adam murmured, shaking his head.

Adam grabbed a glass of mineral water and put the hair in it. Quickly the hair sank into the water that was still half a glass of it. After that Adam put the glass on the cupboard and let it go.

As Ratna's hair sank into the water in the glass, Rian's consciousness slowly returned. The change in Rian's 'four back to normal' attitude was what made Ratna panic. And Ratna immediately contacted the shaman's assistant who had helped her conquer Rian.

That night Rian and Ratna went into the room to rest. Although not yet tied to marriage, Rian and Ratna have lived together and do activities like husband and wife.

But because at that time Ratna was unfortunate, then the hot activity on the bed they could not do.

Rian first laid his body on the bed while Ratna was still in the bathroom to change pads.

After cleaning up, Ratna caught up with Rian and lay down on the bed. I don't know why the two sleep on each other's backs. Maybe because you can't do activities like usual to make Rian and Ratna keep their distance from each other.

Even the night was getting late when something beyond reason happened. The sleeping Ratna looked agitated. Apparently Ratna's having a nightmare.

In her dream Ratna was swimming in the middle of the sea. Although she refused because Ratna was not good at swimming, but an invisible force seemed to force Ratna and pull her into the middle of the ocean. Ratna was even more afraid. Especially when the big waves accompanied by the wind roaring above his head. Ratna turned her head to the right and to the left as if looking for a grip. But there was no one or anything there that could help him.

Ratna screamed as a huge wave hit her body. Surprisingly despite being hit many times, Ratna's body seemed to be pulled back into the middle. Again and again.

Ratna shivered in coldness. Realizing that the world around her was unfriendly, Ratna grew even more frightened. Especially when you see a big wave like a tsunami coming rolling in the distance as if chasing after it. Ratna panicked and tried to stay away but failed. The great wave devoured Ratna and drowned her into the sea.

Ratna screamed once more then woke up with a soaked body. His breath seemed to be panting. When he turned to the side he was surprised to see Rian who was sleeping comfortably as if he was not disturbed by his screams earlier.

But what was more surprising was when Ratna saw all the clothes she was wearing. Her nightgown was soaking wet as if she had just gotten into the water. Even the mattress around him was wet to force Ratna to get out of bed because she felt uncomfortable.

"Wet ?" ask Ratna not to believe it.

Ratna rushed to turn on the room lights to see what was happening. He was surprised when he saw the mattress he was sleeping on looked dry but his clothes were still wet. Even so wet there was a drop of water at the end of her dress.

Ratna rushed to the closet to get a change of clothes. During the change of clothes Ratna kept staring at the bed.

Rian woke up disturbed by the sound Ratna made. Moreover, the brightly lit room makes it more uncomfortable.

"Well why turn on the lights anyway ?. Glare ...," protested Rian while pulling bolsters to cover his face.

"I'm afraid to sleep in the dark. I just had a nightmare" Ratna said.

"What nightmares ?" rian asked as he continued to take cover behind the bolster.

"She was talking and sleeping. What the hell," grumbled Ratna.

Ratna was ready to lie down again but somehow she felt the mattress she was sitting on felt moist. Because it was uncomfortable Ratna moved to the sofa and lay there until the morning.

Since that nightmare Ratna's life is no longer the same. Ratna felt that something was following her wherever she went. Moreover, Rian's attitude towards him was increasingly unfriendly. Even Rian had already dared to curse Ratna in public.

That day Ratna accidentally came to Rian at the restaurant while Rian was having lunch with his friends. Seeing Ratna's presence made Rian upset.

Rian got up from his seat and took Ratna away. Ratna brushes Rian's hand because she doesn't like Rian to keep him away from the crowd. Ratna wants Rian to acknowledge their relationship in front of her friends.

"Gapain use nyusulin here everything ?" ask Rian.

"Salah Mas himself why don't you pick up my phone," said Ratna quickly.

"I'm busy, a lot of work" Rian said as he looked the other way.

"Where do you sleep ?" ask Ratna.

"It's none of your business" said Rian Ketus.

"Certainly my business because all this time you lived with Me Mas. Then why should I talk here. Wouldn't you tell them who I am ?" ratna asked as she glanced at Rian's friends.

"You want me to acknowledge you as what Ratna is ?. Actor ?" rian asked with a mocking smile.

Rian's words surprised Ratna. He did not expect that the usually gentle and obedient man could say a sentence that hurt his feelings.

"Pe-actor ?" ratna asked with teary eyes.

"Yes actor. What is the name of the woman who enters into the household of others and destroys their happiness ?. Not that you are also worthy of being called an actor because in addition to destroying my household, you also snatched Me from the hands of Indri ?!" ask Rian loudly.

Rian's loud speech made everyone in the restaurant turn their heads. They looked at Ratna with a cynical look that made Ratna uncomfortable.

"See what you said Mas. Remember, the person you told me this actor was the one who was able to please you in every way," Ratna said.

"Cih, what fun. Now you better go Ratna. I'm sick of seeing you," Rian said as he walked away from Ratna.

"You must be mrs Mas. I'll make you beg that I will accept you again" Ratna murmured as she looked at Rian's back away.

After that Ratna also left the place with a myriad of disappointments and grudges. Ratna was determined to avenge her heartache for the humiliation Rian had committed that day.
