The next morning Kafka was completely confused by his mother's behavior. Last night she took a photo with her. Now just before Kafka left for school he also took a photo together. He said as a memento.
Kafka who saw the strange behavior of his mother, and also the body of his mother who was getting thinner increasingly worried about the condition of his mother. The woman did look healthy, but her pale lips, and her sunken eyes were the center of Kafka's attention.
"Mom, I eat a lot. Kafka's mother's body is getting thinner every day" Kafka said after kissing the back of her mother's hand to say goodbye.
Anggi just smiled then nodded. "Envigorous learning yes. So that your dream to become a doctor is realized" said Anggi while stroking his son's head gently.
"Yes Mom. Kafka's leaving."
Kafka walked to the highway. Because his bike has been broken he doesn't have a bike anymore now. He had to take a bus every day to go to school.
The main road to the highway passes through a crossroad where in one corner is the house of Kaila. Kafka stopped for a while at the house. A little girl trying to wear her own shoes. Kafka pulled the corner of her lips and waved her hand as Kaila stared at her. After that Kafka immediately walked again because he did not want to be late to school.
"Babelle! Let's go!" scream Olivia.
"Yes, Ma!!!"
On the other hand, Kafka's friends have been at school since the sun has not yet risen to prepare for Kafka's birthday to be celebrated in class. Even other students in class X MIPA 2 also do not mind helping to prepare everything. Oh yes, they had asked permission from Miss Lista that they would borrow the first lesson hour to celebrate Kafka's birthday. And of course Miss Lista doesn't forbid that.
"Hahh, it's finally done too" said Arzel after finishing installing a balloon in one corner of the classroom ceiling.
"Kafka must be surprised!" hazel said cheerfully.
"How "kuenya? Is there, right?" ask Yora.
Yohan walks into class with Nathan bringing a birthday cake for Kafka. The birthday cake was made in the school cafeteria by Yohan and Nathan. They are the ones who make the cake and decorate the cake in such a way because they are the best at cooking.
"Woah crazy! Really cake!" exclamation Azam.
"Yes dong, who used to be ornamental" said Nathan proud of himself.
Suddenly one of the students in charge of overseeing Kafka's arrival shouted that Kafka had entered the school gate.
Everything was immediately noisy. Someone closed the classroom door and closed all the window curtains. Jorah and Hazel looked for a match to light a candle. Arzel was staying near the light switch to turn on just when Kafka entered the classroom. And the others are noisily hiding.
While Kafka in the school yard looked up at his class. The guy frowned when he saw all the curtains in his class were tightly closed. Until the room in the class looks dark compared to others.
"Nobody's time has come" Kafka murmured. The boy rushed into the school building to his class.
Arriving in front of his class, the usually crowded classroom atmosphere was now very quiet. The man held out his hand to open the door slowly.
Right when Kafka entered the classroom. The lights were lit followed by happy birthday chants from her friends.
"Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy birthday, happy birthday. Kafka's happy birthday."
"Blow candles! Blow candles! Blow the candle right now! Now too! Now either..."
Kafka smiled happily. The guy blew out the candles. After Kafka blew out the candle, his other compact friends clapped their hands festively.
"Thank you all." said Kafka with tears that had dripped because he was so happy.
She didn't expect her new friends to know today was her birthday. He did not remember that today was his birthday.
"Where do you know it's my birthday?" kafka asked while cutting the cake.
"Azam look at the student data" replied Hazel.
Kafka mangosteen understands. After cutting the birthday cake. Kafka and his best friend distributed the cake to the students in the class evenly.
"It's a gift from me." Nathan said as he offered a rather large box-shaped gift.
"Thanks." Kafka replied with a smile.
"It's not pa-pa. Thank you." said Kafka with a smile that did not fade from his lips.
Each of the five Nathan, Arzel, Yora, Hazel, and Azam had given their gifts to Kafka. The rest of Yohan who has not handed over the card. Yora immediately elbowed Yohan's arm to immediately give a gift to Kafka.
Yohan was upset. Then thrust a box smaller than Yora's gift to Kafka.
"HBD." said Yohan briefly without looking at Kafka.
"Thanks brother." replied Kafka while receiving a gift from Yohan.
"Let's go open the presents!" arzel exclaimed because he had been curious about the gifts given by his friends.
Kafka nodded then sat on his stool and began to open gifts from his friends.
It started with Nathan's biggest gift. It turns out that the contents of the gift from Nathan are shoes. Nathan bought Kafka shoes because he saw his best friend's shoes were worn out. After opening a gift from Nathan, the boy thanked him.
Then Kafka continued to open a gift from Azam, the man gave a bag to Kafka. Not without reason, Azam chose a bag to be gifted to Kafka because he accidentally saw that one side of the Kafka bag was hollow. As after opening a gift from Nathan, Kafka also thanked Azam again. And so on until the last gift.
After opening gifts from Nathan and Azam, Kafka switched to open gifts from Arzel. The jolly man gave himself a bottle. Kafka chuckled at the bottle, as on each side of the bottle were given a cartoon image similar to the six of them.
"Lo himself who drew Ar?" ask Kafka.
"Where? Nice isn't?" ask Arzel back.
Kafka nodded with a smile. "Good, I think Lo fits into a comic. Thanks to you." said Kafka.
Kafka then opened a gift from Hazel. The tomboy gave himself a pencil. Hazel gave it to him because she saw that Kafka's pencil pincers made of iron had rusted.
After thanking Hazel, Kafka turned to the gift given by Yora. The gift is not wrapped in paper. There is only a white box and in red ribbon ornaments. After opening, how surprised Kafka because the contents of the gift is a bracelet branded watch.
"This is not expensive?" ask Kafka.
Yora grinning the horse. "Don't like?" ask Yora back.
Kafka nodded happily. "Thank you" said Kafka.
Almostdone. Now there is one gift that has not been opened. Gift from Yohan, which is the smallest and most plain gift without any decoration. The small black box was smaller than Yora's gift, so small it could probably fit in Kafka's hand until it was nowhere to be seen. Kafka was even more surprised to see the contents of the gift from Yohan. Not only Kafka, even his other friends were also surprised to see the gift Yohan gave.
"Lo's not wrong about giving stuff, is he?" kafka asked while looking at Yohan.
Yohan shook her head. "There's a parking lot" said Yohan.
Kafka immediately looked towards the parking lot following Arzel, Yora, Hazel, Nathan, and Azam. In the parking lot there is a luxury motorbike that does not have a license plate number.
"So serious for me?" ask Kafka again.
Yohan clucked. "From Lo to school take the bus" replied Yohan
"But it's too-"
Before Kafka finished his sentence Yohan first cut Kafka's sentence. "If you don't want to, here's the key I threw away" Yohan said with her flat face.
"Eh! No!" exclaim Kafka and his other companions with a compact.
