Craftsman Cheat System
Chapter 7 - Clay's Promise

"I mean our arrival here, want to ascertain the truth that happened... Is that right, Mr Chris is gone?" Melissa asked with a curious look on her face.

Clay answered with what was in the memory of his original body honestly as it was. "really. It wasn't just my parents who were killed... But everyone who tried to defend the city of Fort was killed... And I saw it with my own eyes that my father and mother were killed so tragically."

Instantly without Clay noticing and planning, suddenly looks teardrop falling from both eyes Clay relentlessly.

Clay's eyes wept as if he had really lost something very precious, but strangely Clay's countenance did not show the slightest sad expression.

The atmosphere became quiet and silent, they all felt pity and concern for Clay for losing the figure of his parents.

For everyone who saw this incident, crying without a sad expression was a very difficult thing to do and really painful.

At the same time as the silence of the atmosphere, Clay was surprised by himself and he said inwardly. "I-i'm crying... Why am I crying!? I felt neither sad nor lost... Or maybe because the owner of this original body is still in a state of sadness?"

Clay was silent for a few seconds and then he again said in his heart, but this time with a very sincere heart expression from the bottom of his heart. "For you, Clay Valonia owns the real body that I'm currently in... I'm so sorry for your family's death and I will definitely keep my promise to protect your sister... Rest in peace."

Right after Clay said in his heart sincerely, a strange voice suddenly sounded out of nowhere.

*I trust you and I will keep your promise to protect my sister... Thank you, Clay...*

Strangely, the foreign voice echoed only inside Clay's head and only he could hear it.

After the alien voice disappeared, the tears that were dripping in Clay's eyes stopped.

Clay's feelings and body became more comfortable than ever, as if he really owned the body completely.

When Clay stopped shedding tears, Zen stepped up to get closer to Clay, grabbed Clay by both shoulders and said. "We are all deeply saddened by the deaths of your parents, young master."

"Thank you uncle Zen... Thank you, everyone." Clay answered with a sweet smile on his lips.

Seeing this unfavorable atmosphere, it made the members of the Black Dragon Guild undo his intention to continue the conversation.

"Maybe we should go first... Let young master Clay rest and calm his heart." Zen said to everyone there.

They say goodbye and immediately leave the room, but their footsteps suddenly stop because of Clay's words.

"Where are you going? Isn't there something important we need to talk about right now?" Said Clay confidently and valiantly.

"But this time is not right, young master. Wouldn't we rather postpone it?" Answer Zen who stopped in the middle of the road when he was about to go through the door of the room.

"No! Don't interfere in personal matters with Guild affairs... I know what you meant to come here." Clay said with confidence.

Everyone was surprised, they did not expect that a 15-year-old teenager could have such a personality, as if the current one before them was a senior professional at work.

"Really... Right now I'm doing the right thing... I can't delay time! I must defend the right of inheritance of the leadership and take the place of my father, so that I and Isabel can live properly! After all, these Guilds were the result of my father's hard work." Clay thought in his mind, he rounded up his resolve and ventured to gain leadership rights.

Clay thinks like that because if later they procrastinate, there will be things that are not desirable, such as betrayal and so on. Because after all, the leader's seat is currently empty.

"Hm, okay fine! If that's the young master's wish, we'll discuss the future of the Black Dragon Guild right now." Zen and everyone else agreed with him.

"alright... I'll come see you guys in about 30 minutes." Saut Clay with a friendly tone.

Everyone leaves the room, and Clay goes to clean up and get ready.

30 Minutes had passed, now everyone had been inside a spacious enough room with neatly lined tables forming a rectangle, looking like a table for a crowd meeting.

Inside the room, Clay counted about 7 people in this room and that included himself.

Although Clay was currently in the presence of someone more mature than him, but he did not feel any fear or hesitation.

Clay wasn't afraid to look everyone in the eye, looking like he had quality mentality.

Even the six people were made surprised because Clay opened the topic first.

"Before, I apologize for not having had time to introduce myself properly and correctly... My name is Clay Valonia, the first son of Chris Valonia's family." Clay introduced himself in an elegant style in medieval times, such as standing in front of everyone and crossing his right hand on the left chest while slightly bowing his body.

Everyone was shocked by what Clay had just done, as they had never done anything like this before while meeting with Chris in the past.

Their shock was a natural thing, because after all they were just a bunch of ordinary people joining the Guild. And they were neither of the upper class nor of the royal nobility.

Seeing Clay's behavior that introduced himself to the style, now Melissa was trying to compensate. "My name is Melissa from a dump... Division 1 head."

After Melissa introduced herself, Zen followed her and so did the others.

"My name is Zen from a wasted place. Division 2 head."

"My name is Paul from a dumped place. Division 5 head."

From Clay's memory, the outcast is a very large and vast area, precisely located at the westernmost end of this continent.

The majority of the inhabitants of this wasted place were Demi-human races.

Demi-humans are a race of animals that are human.

"My name is Rhamp from a dumped place. Division 9 head."

"My name is Frank from a dumped place. Division 13 chairman."

"My name is Jhon from a wasted place. Division 18."

As they introduce themselves, Clay is shocked and he can only feel deeply and regret his behavior. "What am I doing... I should have understood who they were... If I act like an upper class person, they must consider me arrogant and the like... But there's something weird here! Why did my father form a Guild consisting of Demi-humans? What kind of guild did my father create..."
