Dear Ace's
Prologues

One day there was a 1-year-old boy and he was a young boy who was always spoiled by his family and never felt any shortcomings because his family always gave everything what he wants. But there is only one thing that his family thinks they still can't give him, which is a father's affection.

Ace grows up without a father's affection but instead, his grandfather and uncle are the ones who take over the role of a father for Ace. Ace's father never appeared to even meet him in South Korea since he was slandered by Ace's uncle that he was having an affair at a cafe. Though the real Ace's father was meeting with an important client at the cafe but somehow arrived - suddenly Ace's uncle accused Ace's father of having an affair.

The news reached Jo's grandfather's ear and the news came along with the client who complained to Jo's grandfather that he felt humiliated by his son, who was a friend of his, he did not want to continue working with his company. Hearing this, Jo's grandfather immediately calls Ace's father and fires him. Ace's father had tried to explain everything to his father that he was not cheating like his brother-in-law said, but Jo's grandfather had already darkened his eyes and immediately fired Ace's father at that time.

Feeling that he could not support his small family and did not want his son and wife to feel the hard life, Ace's father then bought a plane ticket to his wife's home country, South Korea. Ace's father told his wife that he would follow them both to South Korea, but until now Ace's father did not follow him to South Korea and immediately disappeared without a trace like it had been swallowed by the earth.

But even so Ace's father always sends a sum of money with the same nominal as before - before so that his wife does not feel suspicious to her husband that his life is actually not like before. Eomma Ace can only tell that her husband is still good - it's fine through the monthly money transfer sent by her husband every month because all this time eomma Ace can not contact her husband.

Even his closest relatives are unaware of Ace's father's current whereabouts because of his phone number which cannot be reached, and it seems that Ace's father has blocked the number of his closest relative so that his whereabouts cannot be known by anyone. But even so eomma Ace always sends a message or photo about the development of Ace in the number, as well as every night Eomma Ace always sat on the porch of her house and hoped that her husband would come home even though the results were nil.

"Still waiting for him to come back here and see you Jane?" asked Mrs Kim to sit next to Jane.

Jane nodded.

"Yes eomma, guess where Liam went?"

"Have you met any of his friends or family?"

"It was eomma but their answers were all the same that they had never met Liam again and it was as if Liam had disappeared like he had been swallowed by the earth, if that's true then who's transferring the monthly money to my account?"

Mrs Kim rubbed Jane's back.

"Maybe there's something that makes Liam not dare to come back here and see his son. Mmm what about the house of the two of you who are in Indonesia?"

"Dio said the house was empty and unkempt, many weeds that filled the yard."

"Aren't you interested in going back to Indonesia again?"

"I'm actually interested in going home and seeing Liam, but I'm afraid that when I arrive, all my efforts and my expedition will be destroyed by reality."

"What reality? the reality is that Liam is remarried and has a child with his new wife?" asked Mrs Kim to guess.

Jane nodded and immediately cried in Mrs Kim's arms.

"Yes, what if that happens? what should I say to Ace when he asks for clarity on his daddy?"

"Ssttt don't immediately think like that dear, Liam certainly won't do such a disgusting thing to mommy's most beautiful daughter."

"Is Liam not interested in me because I look so ugly after having a child?" jane asked as she cried bitterly.

"Sstt don't say that because princess eomma is still as beautiful as she used to be even though she already has a child."

"That's in eomma's view, maybe Liam's view would be different. If Liam thinks like that why didn't he divorce me and instead choose to disappear without a trace?"

"Maybe there's something Liam can't explain."

"Because of all this I must try to cover all the photos of Liam in this house and hide all his belongings to avoid questions from Ace. I don't want Ace to feel so hateful to Liam that he's remarried after he left us, and if necessary Ace doesn't need to know Liam."

"Don't be like that because after all Liam is Ace's daddy so we should also explain it slowly - slowly regarding this situation when Ace has asked about his daddy."

Suddenly a voice came from the front door.

"Eomma."

Jane then wiped her tears and approached Ace to carry him.

"How come you woke up heum?"

"Eomma, daddy."

"Daddy is away at work."

"Daddy," said Ace back and after that he returned to crying as usual.

Jane went straight into her room.

"Ssttt cup cup dear please don't cry again tonight because eomma is tired," said Jane trying to calm Ace and Ace's crying is getting louder.

Every night Ace used to cry so hard and he was so mischievous that he made Jane feel so overwhelmed. Even Jane's family also felt so overwhelmed facing Ace that it made them feel sorry for Jane. Josh can only keep quiet and hasn't told Jane everything that Liam has been fired from his company because of him. Josh felt very sorry for destroying his sister's household.

"Daddy!!" ace shouted in between - between his cries.

"Can be quiet!! I'm tired of facing you!!" jane shouted, who was getting frustrated.

Mr. Kim who heard the screams from Jane immediately ran into the room and took Ace from Jane's sling, while Mrs Kim tried to calm her daughter who seemed to have been almost made crazy. Mr. Kim then temporarily keeps Ace away from Jane so as not to be subjected to Jane's rampage.

"Ace be quiet don't cry."

"Daddy, eomma."
