#38 The Questioning Lot
After that Liam went back and left them both, while Jane then put Ace to sleep in his bed because from earlier had slept in his club while drinking milk. Liam was behind the door and had heard all of Jane's talk on the phone. Liam still tried to be positive thinking after hearing Jane's talk earlier, even though his heart ached. Liam then sat pensively on one of the steps of his house and still felt disbelief in what he had just heard.
After that he went to the basement of his house to release his pain, and chose to mess with his favorite motorcycle that he had not driven for a long time. Liam then took him to his subscription workshop for service. Soon a mechanic who was Liam's own friend came along, and he was shocked to see Liam coming to his workshop after he was reported missing. He then approached Liam with great enthusiasm and felt happy because Liam his friend had returned.
After that Liam asked him to fix his bike, and 2 hours later everything was done. Liam had a conversation with him after a long time without meeting, and discussed Liam's bike as well. On the other hand when dinner time is almost here, Ace is looking for his father's whereabouts. He ran here and there and down some hallways to find his father. When he was tired of looking for his father, he then cried and hoped to arrive - his father came to carry him.
Mrs Robinson who accidentally passed through a hallway immediately rushed to Ace who was sitting while crying. Mrs Robinson then carried Ace and calmed him down. Ace cried many times while calling his father, and it made Mrs Robinson directly contact Liam to ask him to come home soon. Not long after, the sound of Liam's motorbike had entered the basement of his house.
"Look who's coming home?" asked Mrs Robinson trying to cheer Ace's little heart.
"Daddy," call Ace clean.
"Eh why are you crying heum?" liam asked as he approached Ace.
"Daddy where you are? I think daddy's gone again."
"Daddy had just gone to the workshop to service the motorbike, already do not cry here fat daddy."
"Daddy won't go far anymore right?" tanya Ace looked at Liam.
Liam smiled.
"No, daddy won't leave Ace again."
"Promise?" tanyanya while pointing her little finger.
"Promise" said Liam hooking his little finger on Ace's finger.
"Jane where's mom?"
"Jane seemed to have been in his room."
"Oh so."
Liam then went to his room while carrying Ace.
*clek.*
"Mmm yeah, yeah."
"What's Jane doing?"
"I was talking to my friend, what's hubby?"
"Nothing, it's almost dinnertime let's go down!"
"Good hubby."
The three of them then went down.
"Hi Liam junior," said Lian.
"Hi uncle Li."
"It must have been crying, right?"
Ace nodded.
"Nee uncle."
"Why crying? didn't you buy a toy by daddy heum?"
"No, daddy always gave me the toys I wanted and I was crying for daddy."
"Where is daddy? ckckck daddy's so naughty huh?"
"Where did daddy go?" ask Ace back.
"Out of the motor service" Liam replied.
"Service is what dad?"
"The service fixes something if something breaks in order to function as before."
"Oh, daddy's motor is broken?"
"Yes that's how."
"Why is daddy's motor broken?"
Seeing Ace who kept asking his father, made Lian laugh because she felt that it seemed like her sister was tired of answering questions from her son.
"Shhhh, don't ask anymore!"
"Why dad? why can't I ask you again, and why is daddy's bike broken?"
"Hahaha your son turned out to be very similar to you Li," Lian said mockingly.
"Sstt shut up stupid, don't make fun of me."
"Daddy, answer me!!!" shout Ace.
"His motor is tired, so he's broken."
"Yes, hufftt."
"Who is dad, why is he always standing there?"
"He's a bodyguard who'll shut your mouth to stop asking."
"Why is that? isn't he tired of standing there?" ask Ace again and again.
"Mom!!" shouted Liam.
"What's the matter, baby, to yell like that?" ask Mrs Robinson to approach them.
"Daddy why yell at grandmom?"
"Liam was already feeling dizzy hearing Ace always ask mom," Lian replied.
Suddenly Mrs Robinson laughed.
"Geez, baby, you should just answer that."
"But he kept asking when I answered him."
"Daddy, let's teach me to draw."
"All right."
After that they all had dinner together, and Ace always made the atmosphere crowded because of his adorable manner. Sometimes they also laugh a little while watching Ace's behavior. Afterwards Ace was playing with Mr Robinson in the living room. Ace drove his car around a very large central hall under the supervision of Mr Robinson, and it was not long before Mrs Robinson joined them. Jane and Liam are talking in her room about Liam's desire to join her cafe.
"I will work tomorrow at the cafe only," said Liam who had made up his mind.
"Why not work back at the company?"
"I'm lazy, whatever it is always left to me even though I'm innocent of the fucking shit at all."
Jane took her breath.
"Alright if that's your decision, I as a wife can only support you."
"Why do you look unhappy with my wish?" liam asked suspiciously.
"No, I'm happy too."
"Your expression and the look in your eyes indicate that you are lying to me, hufftt well I will return to work in the company after I am satisfied to rearrange my cafe."
"Yes." Yeah."
Liam then turned around and looked at the outside view from his bedroom balcony.
"I always know anything, even if you try to hide it from me."
*deg's.*
"Ma-you mean hubby?"
"Forget it about what I said earlier, and remember the proverb that as smart as a squirrel jumping would fall too."
"Yes hubby."
Liam immediately breezed away leaving Jane to play with Ace.
"Daddy!!" ace shouted enthusiastically.
"Hup whiz daddy's doing what?"
"Main cars - mobilan with grandpa Jo and also grandmom."
"Oh so."
"Daddy bought me a real car like daddy's in the basement of this house."
"It's not daddy, it's Jo's grandpa."
Ace immediately looked at Mr Robinson with his face pensive.
"Grandpa Jo, buy me a real car like it belongs to a grandpa."
"You're Ace's little girl, tomorrow when you grow up, Jo's gonna buy you one that's better than all of that."
"Alright grandpa Jo."
"Let's go to sleep."
"Tell me a dad's fairy tale."
"Okay."
Liam put Ace to sleep, and after that he went to his room but Liam instead chose to sleep on the sofa.
"Hubby."
"I'm lazy" he said coldly.
