Dear Ace's

Dear Ace's
#30 New Friends

Ibra invites Ace to play together at his house while eating donuts, while Gita is talking with Jane about Liam and also his life after being without Liam. Jane said it was very difficult for her to adjust to her new life, especially usually Jane always rely on Liam in everything but now Jane can not count on Liam anymore because he has gone.

Jane also told me that since then she has been very difficult to control her emotions and always vent it to Ace. Even Jane also said that she had thought about leaving Ace to the orphanage if he was unable to take care of it. But that time was prevented by Mrs Robinson, and after that Jane did not leave Ace in the orphanage. Jane recounted it all until she was unaware her tears were beginning to drip down her cheeks.

Seeing her best friend in distress, Gita hugs Jane from the side and rubs her back to calm the crying Jane. Gita then looked at Ace from a distance who was playing together with his son, and Gita felt that Ace was not like a child his age who always played cheerfully. Gita felt very pity and could not imagine if Jane would really leave Ace to the orphanage.

But Gita can't do anything because she has promised Liam that she won't tell anyone about her whereabouts, including her own family. Maybe the current Gita can only give advice and strengthen Jane so that she is always steadfast in dealing with all this, he said, and also asked Jane not to leave Ace to the orphanage because after all Ace is a gift from God for him. Ibra then took a lego toy from her room and brought it back to the television to play with Ace.

"I have a new lego, my papa's gift."

"Oh, papa you buy you toys often?" ask Ace to smile.

"Of course, papa used to buy me toys."

"I also want to buy a toy by my daddy, but I don't have a daddy."

"So you said you had daddy."

"Say eomma I have daddy, it's just that I've never met my daddy."

"Why is that?" ask Ibra curious.

"Don't know, every time I ask eomma, eomma will scold me. It may seem that eomma does not like it if I ask about daddy, but even so grandpas and grandmas always tell stories about daddy silently - quietly without eomma's knowledge."

"Then what's your daddy like?" asked Ibra whose seat was getting closer to Ace.

"They said that daddy was a very nice guy, hardworking, and also very handsome like me haha."

"So they said that your face looks a lot like your daddy?"

Ace nodded.

"Nee."

"You're so handsome because your parents are from abroad, and that's why your face is bule."

"You're also very handsome, not less distant than me."

"really?"

"Yes, are we friends now?" asked Ace to extend his hand.

"Okay we are now friends" replied Ibra who shook Ace's hand.

"You're my first friend here."

"really?"

"Nee, uh I mean you're my second friend here."

"Then who's your first friend?" ask Ibra curious.

"My first friend here was a mustache om, and he was very good at telling fairy tales because he could mimic any sound."

"Who's the moustache?"

"Om mustache is a grown man who used to feed wild animals in the park near my house, and I used to play with him a lot but after Uncle Josh had a fight with him so he never saw me again."

"Why fight?"

Ace shook his head slowly.

"Not knowing."

"Adults often quarrel about many things, so it's no wonder they'll behave that way."

"True, adults fight a lot and I often see eomma fighting with Uncle Josh or with grandma."

"Why do adults fight so much?" ibra asked confusedly.

"No idea, maybe they are often exhausted from continuing to work."

"You're right."

"Do you have many friends?" ask Ace while composing the lego.

"I have a lot of friends here, if you?"

"I also have but all my friends are in South Korea now."

"Sometimes I get jealous of them because they always tell me that there's a lot of fun things they do with their dad, and I want to be like that too."

"Just calm down one day for sure you can also do fun things with your daddy, like I did with papa."

"You often play anything with your papa?"

"Play the ball, compose the lego, and many other things we do together."

"Oh so," said Ace listlessly.

"What if we play ball in my yard now?"

"Can."

Ibra then took his favorite ball and invited Ace to go out to play ball. Ace was happy because he made a new friend in Indonesia but on the other hand Ace was sad because he could not meet the moustache anymore. By late afternoon, Jane took Ace home because she had to take an afternoon shower and followed him to the supermarket. After 1 hour later Ricko had arrived home and immediately carried his favorite son. Ricko sat on the couch drinking warm tea made by his wife while listening to Ibra tell her about his new friend, as soon as he finished bathing.

Liam came home to Ricko.

"Hi Ric," said Liam.

"Just come home at this hour?"

"Yes, there were a lot of customers, so it's a pity that I didn't take the order."

"Oh take a shower there."

"Yes." Yeah."

After Liam enters his room, Gita meets Ricko.

"Liam's home?" ask Gita.

"Here, what's wrong?"

"I want to talk to him."

"Oh he just took a shower. Mmm, was Jane here?"

Gita nodded.

"Yes, I'll tell you two something."

"All right."

*Some minutes later.*

"Liam has something I want to talk to you about" said Gita.

"Why Git?" ask Liam curiously.

"Dear Ibra, you played in your room first huh?"

"Okay mah."

"So what's up Git?" ask Liam back.

"It looks like you should go home to your family soon."

"I'm sorry if I trouble you both, tomorrow I'll go home to my hut."

"No, not going home in your present home but going back to your family!! Ace will be deposited in the orphanage if you do not immediately return to where you came from!!"

"How can you?" liam asked in surprise.

"Well, don't joke."

"I'm not kidding Ricko, Jane would have left Ace in the orphanage if he couldn't take care of it. Jane's mental state is now unstable after being abandoned by Liam, and luckily your mommy can prevent it."

"Did Jane live with mommy?"

"true."

"Li listen to my words, you better get back before it's too late."

"Hufftt's fine."
