"Sounds like he's in his room? Want mama to call?"

"Ti, no need," Ray replied quickly.

Lina nodded and left, after reminding Ray to eat the food he brought. Ray breathed out. Trying to calm down. It was not the first time Teresa had broken off their conversation so abruptly. So maybe he was too worried. Because in this house that feels close to him is Teresa.

The days passed by Ray with more silence in his room. His parents were confused to get closer to him. But strangely, he looked very relaxed if he was with Teresa, as if they had known each other for a long time. Seeing their closeness certainly made Dion and Lina envious.
