No. gabe. Why it's like this.
No more words could come out of my mouth. These soldiers, without their mother, clothed me with armor and gave me a sword. Not only that, they carried me on a car and dragged me straight to the battlefield. Actually not at all appropriate called 'dragging', but want how else.
This journey is not light at all. This car was taken through a rocky road that they admitted many mines were attached here. Seriously, why did this have to happen to me?!
"What's up, Mister?" ask Venn, my servant. It seemed like he noticed the change in the look of my deathly pale face.
I'm shaking. It's so strange to be called 'Master' like this. Looking at the entire car, it seemed like only I felt dizzy and drunk on land thanks to the road that passed. I tried to divert attention because I did not want to drag on in the nausea that swirled in the stomach.
I don't know why the Elite Army and the seats in the meeting room drew my attention back. There were five seats lined up next to the Chairman's chair, but only three were filled. I haven't had time to ask Venn this because the situation wasn't possible. But now it can, right?
"Venn, can I ask you something?" my many.
"Yes, sir, what's wrong?"
"Do you know about the Elite Forces?" What kind of question is this, of course he would know the answer.
As I thought, Venn nodded. "What do you want you to know about them?"
Uh, it feels really uncomfortable being called that way.
"How many are they?" ask again.
"Elite troops have 5 members."
"only 5?"
Venn nodded.
"Is the chair next to the Chairman's chair their own? Why do they have such a special seat?" ask again. Venn might feel like a curious little boy.
I was amazed by his patience. He answered my question in such detail. Start with the chairs that are reserved for them. Privileges that make them immune to the rules. Their position is equivalent to the Chairman, even though they do not have the authority to regulate the organization. Up to their actual function as the last defensive wall or to fight monsters over five meters in size. I heard him explain until we finally arrived at the battlefield.
His condition is really fucked. This is not like a war against a reasonable fellow human being. Their opponents were not intelligent beings who understood humanity let alone the rules of war. It was the first time I saw so many casualties scattered due to the war. Many civilians and soldiers are hiding with severe injuries and even losing limbs. This kind of scene was definitely not the first time for them in this world right?
Seeing something like this directly in front of my eyes made me sure how desperate they were to wait for the figure of 'The Chosen One'.
"From here on Class S will take over!" said the commander of the S-class forces. Those A-class soldiers immediately retreated. The medics brought the living to be rescued. While the S-class soldiers directly took over the battlefield.
At first I thought the monsters faced were just as reported. After I saw it with my own eyes it turned out that there were quite a number of monsters smaller than two meters and were shaped like animals from mythological stories. Monsters that look like humans are as tall as normal humans.
Everyone was already in their respective positions to fight the monsters.
Except me. Even if they put me next to the commander, I can't possibly do the same as them. These monsters were completely different from even demon-hearted humans.
I can't run now. Although I do not want to, just need to survive until the war this time is over and resolve the misunderstandings that occur.
That's what I thought at first.
Surviving these monsters wasn't as easy as I imagined. To swing a sword precisely regarding a monster that was only the size of myself was difficult for me to do. Even just the tip of this sword alone could not hit the monster skin before me at all. It was really not like the person who was stricken as the figure of the 'Chosen One'.
Unlike me who was in trouble, in one flick of the monster's hand managed to make my grip on my sword come off. My sword was thrown away. I don't want to have to face him with my bare hands.
I put up my best horses even though I didn't know what the outcome would be like. Actually, hand-to-hand combat has become commonplace for me, given the days I spent. I put my fists as hard as I can on his heart.
The skin of this monster turned out to be quite thick and hard. One blow I managed to land on his heart, which I was sure had no effect on him at all. If looking at the others, they might have already wiped out dozens of small monsters like this in one fell swoop. Yeah, at least this time it wasn't just this monster that attacked me.

Laura's hand grabbed one of the books plastered on a shelf reading the Old Archive in a library. The book looked worn and dusty as if it had never been touched at all. The book is covered with a red hardcover with the inscription 'Mystery of the Blood God'. Once opened, the distinctive aroma of the old book instantly invaded his sense of smell. So even when his fingers exposed the yellow sheets of paper filled with mushrooms.
A man shorter than her came over and stood beside her. His face was placed on the book that Laura was reading. "Still reading this book?"
"It's none of your business!"
The man's lips bent over the manyun, looking unhappy with the answer Laura gave. He rested his back on the wall. His eyes were staring straight at the creaking desks and empty library chairs.
Ngii
A buzzing sound suddenly rang out in Laura's ears. His buzz sounded so deafening, it felt like his eardrum was about to break. The man next to her didn't seem to notice it.
His nose grew louder with time until his head hurt. His chest was tight as if the drone was closing his throat. With a bit of effort, Laura focused herself.
"Someone, please Brother Naito!!!" A woman's voice caught his ear as his focus returned. His voice sounds so far away.
"I wonder when you're going to close your eyes like that" she said, looking back at Laura's side. Her eyes focused on the black cloth of Laura's blindfold that was never removed.
Laura was silent with her focus returning. Faintly, the man felt Laura's mood change. He remained silent for quite a while until he suddenly closed the thick book tightly. The man was sure he had touched Laura's sensitive matter with his sentence. Everyone knew for a long time that talking to Laura was a mistake.
"Talk to me back after you can get past me" he said. Laura put the red book back in its place. His hand immediately grabbed his black jacket which he sipped on the chair. Quickly he put it on which passed away leaving the man silent by himself.

I sat quietly staring straight at the ground. The voices in my head continue to curse how bad this self is. The memories of the fight had been replayed inside my head, making me even more uneasy with the people inside the tent.
Just then, when I finally managed to make the monster fall, I hurried to pick up my thrown sword. Stupid me, I didn't notice when the three-meter-high monster's feet were above my head. Venn who saw that immediately ran towards me and injured the monster's leg with his sword. Because of that, now his right arm was injured.
If only I hadn't been rash.
Unbeknownst to me a burly bald fellow who was different from last night was already in front of me. I'll call it 'Box Kekar II'. He was a member of the S class. I could see the look in his eyes staring intently at me, as if hinting at his frustration.
"Are you really the 'Chosen One'? I think you're too bad for that!"
Jamb.
The words that just slid from the mouth of Bald Kekar II seemed to enter just like that into the recesses of my deepest heart. So sharp because I can't deny it at all. Because I'm Venn hurt. Even defeating a single monster could not.
At least after this they'll believe that I'm not the 'Chosen One'?
"Get me talk!"
I turned to see the newly treated Venn walking towards Bald Kekar II. His facial expression looked so furious as if he was the one being insulted.
"Why you? Not accept?! Let alone the Elite Army, compared to an S-class warrior of course he could not be stronger! What difference does he have with 'God's Blood' like this?!" The sound of Bald heaviness II was heard rising. Highlight his fiery eyes stared at Venn who was defending me.
"Mr Naito just can't adapt yet!" argue Venn.
"As desperate as you are, are you hoping for a bad guy like him?!"
"You—"
"Venn!" cut me off before their debate continues any longer. My chest tightness heard Venn defending me like that. Our eyes met with a glance as Venn turned his head towards me. I do not know why his eyes seemed to emit regret over the words Bald Kekar II.
I was silent for quite a while. Even though I called him, I don't know what I want to say. I didn't want him to feel regret, because what I should have regretted was me. Really, I'm not comfortable with the look of her sorry eyes. Also with the hope of the humans in this world who consider me 'The Chosen One'.
Their hopes really made me cramped.
I want to go home soon.
