No One Will Believe

Bitsy still does not want to come out of the closet even though her father calls. Bitsy only opened the door for a while because Rian wanted to get out and then closed the closet door again. Rian crawled out and approached his father who was sitting on the side of the bed with Angela. Darko held his son and sat on his lap, all so chaotic because of Bitsy's sudden change of attitude.

"Mama.... Mama!" Rian pointed towards the window like he wanted to say something to his father.

"Call Daddy!" pinta.

"Mama!" rian said again while shaking his head.

Darko looked towards the window where Rian pointed. There's nothing. I don't know what that means, maybe Rian wants to be with his mother.

"Mommy is on break, Daddy will bring Rian to play with Mommy" said his father.

"Daddy, why is Mommy resting more now?" ask Angela.

"Mommy's tired, honey."

"Look, it's because there's a ghost in Mommy's body!" bitsy shouted from inside the closet.

"Bitsy, out! Daddy wants to talk to you!" said father.

"No, Daddy's bad!" yell Bitsy again.

"Enough, Bitsy. Didn't Daddy say that? Don't just talk and you promised Daddy, but why do you say that again? Your words hurt your mother's feelings, didn't you know about it?"

"We buried Mommy, Dad. Why did Mommy come home? Bitsy was a child and only ten years old but Bitsy saw when Mommy was buried then how did Mommy get home? Mommy's body has ghosts, so Mommy can go home!"

"Okay, okay. Daddy's been wrong for not explaining it to you. Now get out, Daddy will explain to you both why Mommy can be home!"

"What can Daddy explain?"

"Get out, Bitsy!" snapped at his father because Bitsy was still arguing with him.

Bitsy seemed hesitant, slowly sliding the closet door open. Bitsy peeked out and looked at her room. He wouldn't have come out if his mother was in that room.

"No need to look around, get out!" father's orders.

Bitsy crawled out slowly but her eyes could not escape from her father. He hated his father now that his father did not believe him anymore even his father had turned evil.

"Come here, Daddy will explain to you both why Mommy is home and after hearing that, Daddy won't hear any more ghosts in Mommy's body and stop hurting Mommy's feelings!"

"But Daddy, Mommy is a ghost!"

"Bitsy, why are you saying that. Would you explain it to Daddy?"

"I saw him last night, Dad. Mommy ran towards the forest and when Daddy came out of my room, Mommy surprised Bitsy in front of the window in a scary state. Mommy's mouth is full of blood as well as her hands because Mommy just ate something in the woods!" obviously Bitsy. He wanted his father to believe what he said.

"Don't just talk. After Daddy got out of your room, Mommy was in the room!"

"No way, Daddy could see Mommy's hand on the window!" Bitsy stepped closer to the window and showed her mother's faint handprints.

"It's just dust, don't make it up!" his father still could not believe it.

"There's used animal skin eaten by Mommy if Daddy doesn't believe it!" now Bitsy pointed towards the animal skin she had stepped on earlier.

Darko exhaled and pinched the temple. His daughter must have been dreaming because of fear. Maybe that's why Bitsy sat in front of the window for so long.

"Bitsy, you must have had a bad dream because of your fear!" said father.

"If so, why is it that only Bitsy thinks Mommy is a ghost. why isn't Angela? Has Angela ever seen Mommy do such a scary thing?" Darko turned and looked towards his daughter.

"No, Mommy never looks scary. Mommy as always, love Angela!" answered his second daughter.

"Bitsy hear? Bitsy like that just because of fear alone. Bitsy is too scared to have nightmares so consider Mommy a ghost!"

"Bitsy's not lying, Daddy!" Bitsy approached her father and sat down at his feet, "When Daddy left, Mommy went to get some meat. If you don't believe me, Daddy can ask Angela" he said.

"What right?" Darko looked towards Angela again.

"That time Mommy did say she wanted to buy meat, Daddy. Angela was in the room with Rian so Angela didn't know anything anymore."

"Then, what happened?" Darko turned, looking towards Bitsy.

"Mommy threatened to eat Angela, Daddy. After eating Angela, Mommy will also eat Rian and then eat Bitsy!" obviously daughter.

Darko was silent at his daughter's words but not long after, his laughter rang out. His daughter must be telling a joke. Mia's gonna eat them? It is a lie that no one will believe.

"Why is Daddy laughing? Does Daddy not believe it?" Bitsy looked disappointed.

"Enough, don't make it up. No one will believe what you say!" said father.

"I guessed it, Daddy would definitely not believe anything Bitsy said!"

"Who would believe it? There would not be even if Bitsy said this to Aunty Nadia even once. He won't believe it. All who heard also would not believe it much less Bitsy had no proof!"

"But Mommy said something like that to Bitsy!"

"Maybe Mommy was just joking around to scare you. Listen to Daddy, the one who brought Mommy home is Daddy!"

"really?" ask his two daughters.

"Certainly, Daddy felt that Mommy was still alive so Daddy went to bring Mommy home so there were no ghosts in Mommy's body. Mommy was just sick from the accident. Bitsy reads too many stories, so Bitsy scares herself. If Mommy wants to eat you guys, why don't she do it before we move in?"

"Bitsy's not lying, Daddy!" Bitsy lowered her head, was what her father said true?

"Bitsy, trust Daddy. What you said is not true. Mommy loves you so much, how could Mommy eat you? Mommy must be just kidding. All because of Bitsy who always hurt Mommy's feelings. If Bitsy were to be a good boy, Mommy would definitely not scare Bitsy."

Bitsy was still down, she could not believe what her father said because she was sure what she saw was real. The mother who was with them at this time was not her mother.

"Sorry Daddy already punished and hit Bitsy," Darko rubbed his daughter's head gently, "You forgive Daddy, don't you?" tanyakanya.

Bitsy could only nod her head, she would not win against the adults. Whatever he said, his father would definitely not believe it.

"Now that we're out, Mommy's making your favorite meal and tomorrow, Daddy's taking you to a new school."
