The Emerging Spirit

Day back at night, it's dark out there and it's certainly an atmosphere that Bitsy hates a lot. The air was getting colder and finally, the first snow fell in that place which made the air even colder. Bitsy sat in front of her bedroom window alone, while her family was outside enjoying the time in front of the fireplace.

Bitsy chose to be in the room because she was afraid and did not want to be with her mother let alone her mother increasingly deliberately scared her. Whereas in the forest he saw very clearly if his mother was eating rabbits and enjoying her blood but why so quickly her mother changed? Though he was very sure if pursued by the scary figure but once there was his father, the figure of his mother who was scary was invisible. Scared, that was all he felt.

"You should be able to, Bitsy," suddenly someone whispered like that in his ear.

Bitsy was surprised and turned around, but there was no one. It was as if he had heard his mother whispering in his ear. Bitsy moved on, was it just her hallucination?

"Mom?" Bitsy called out while looking for her mother. There was nothing, there was no mother anywhere when she heard her mother's voice very clearly.

"Mommy, are you here?" ask the frightened Bitsy.

"Don't be afraid, Bitsy," she heard the whisper again, and Bitsy felt that someone was holding her shoulder, "You must be strong, the more you fear the more the demon bothers you. You have to be a good brother to protect your two sisters."

"But Bitsy's scared, Mommy."

"You have to fight your fear that way, you can prove to your father that what you say is true!"

"How is it, Mommy? Bitsy's scared, Mom. Bitsy's scared!"

"you can do it, believe me!"

"Mommy, can Mommy help Bitsy?" whether the one talking to her was currently her mother or not she definitely felt her mother was by her side.

"What does Bitsy want?"

"Bitsy wants to?" bitsy's speech came to a halt as Mia entered her room.

"What's Bitsy doing here? Why not join in to eat grilled corn?" Mia stepped closer, it turned out that brash spirit was meeting her daughter.

"Bitsy doesn't like grilled corn, Mommy," replied Bitsy.

"If you don't like it, let's go out. Daddy's looking for you and Rian!"

"But Bitsy wants to be in the room" Bitsy refused. He wanted to talk more with his mother even though all he could hear was whispers.

"Come on, Daddy's been waiting!"

"But?"

"Bitsy!" Mia snapped then looked at Bitsy sharply.

"Well-Good!" Bitsy ran out because she was afraid of being alone with a figure who was transformed as her mother. Mia smiles and her smile disappears after Bitsy comes out. The demon turned around, looking at Mia's true spirit. Only he could see her as well Rian therefore Rian always called his mother while pointing in the direction where his mother's spirit was but no one understood. The devil felt the presence of Mia's spirit, so he went into Bitsy's room. Don't let Mia affect her daughter because what she really wants is Bitsy's soul which is more delicious than anything else. He wanted it because only Bitsy could not be affected by his trickery.

"Don't bother my kids!" scream Mia.

"Ha.... Ha.... Ha... Oh...!" the demon laughed out loud, then a wide grin adorned his face.

"What has been targeted by my prey, I will not let go of your three children, "the devil licks his lips and shows his sharp teeth, "They have pure souls and very delicious flesh, Mia´s. I can't wait to gulp their blood and tear their fresh flesh. I can't wait to swallow their pure souls. Your three children are mine and so is your foolish husband, he will be the last meal after I have eaten his three children!" the devil who can't wait to do what he says.

"Don't hurt my three children, let them go!" mia's spirit screamed and flew towards the demon but with a single hand, Mia's spirit was helpless. The devil was like strangling her neck making Mia feel like she was in pain.

"A lowly spirit like yourself deserves to be in hell!" in a single flick of the hand, Mia's spirit disappeared instantly. He was the most powerful demon, such a spirit would not be able to defeat him.

The atmosphere was silent, no one could hear what they were talking about. The demon came out of Bitsy's room, a terrible grin again adorning her face when she saw Darko and his three children playing.

"Mia, why are you standing there?" ask Darko.

"Nothing, I'm so happy to see you. I really didn't expect to be given the chance to be with you again when I thought it was?" tears trickled, acting perfect to trick Darko who blinded his love for his wife.

"Don't say that!" Darko approached his wife and hugged her, "I didn't expect you to come back to us. I can't afford to lose you, Honey. I'm really desperate but now, seeing you're back and we can be together again makes me not regret what I've done!"

"Thank you for bringing me back to life, Darko. I was really scared to be in the dark but you pulled me back so I could be with you guys again!"

"Sst, don't let the kids hear what you're saying. The secret is enough we both know, others don't. Therefore I brought you here so that no one would disturb and separate us and the children!" Darko hugged his wife tightly, no one would be able to separate them anymore.

"Thank you for bringing me back!" Mia hugged him but a wide grin was engraved on his face without Darko noticing. He was indeed grateful to Darko who had brought himself out of the darkest darkness to replace his wife and now, they were all within the grasp of his hand.

"Daddy, Rian stinks!" scream Angela.

"Bitsy, take your sister and clean up. It's late, you better get her to bed!" father's orders.

"Well, Dad!" Bitsy holds Rian who stinks from urination and steps towards her room but Bitsy stops for a moment when she wants to pass her father.

"Daddy, don't forget the promise" said Bitsy. He reminded because he was afraid that his father had forgotten and could not see his mother's frightening figure outside the window.

"Daddy knows, get Rian to clean up!" answer father.

"Promise?" Mia looked at Darko with a suspicious look, "What promise did you make with Bitsy?" tanyanya.

"It's not important, Bitsy asked me to teach her a lesson she didn't know tonight and I promised to teach her later!"

Mia looked at him fixedly, she could not believe what Darko said. There must be something to hide but he is a demon, he will know anything easily and he will know what Darko and his daughter will do later. They would not be able to run anywhere because once he rose from the darkness, they were his that he had already marked.
