Diary From The Past
Chapter 6. Late Greenlandian

Alea and Kavindra almost shit their pants. The figure of the creature that emerged from behind the bushes is not***wooden, saber-toothed tigers, or cannibal humans.

Animals with faces resembling long-boned bears and a body like a giant tiger make both not wrinkled.

Alea knew that his 'ala-ala' spear would not be able to knock down the beast.

Kavindra gulped repeatedly. He groped the contents of Alea's bag, hoping that the folding umbrella belonging to the friend could be used as a weapon to defend himself.

"Ga can Kav. I've ever heard of a bear lost to a lipet umbrella".

"Gue also never heard that we can fight with a lipet umbrella".

Kavindra added. "And I think our front creature is not a bear".

"Keep we want anything? What's the point of us debating is he a bear what a wolf?" ask Alea.

Kavindra. "But try. I have an idea...". The man moved slowly. He took the body of a fish that was going to be their evening meal.

"Betcapp.... ". Kavindra throws the two fish at the beast.

Kavindra's forecast was wrong. The animal looks more aggressive. He opened his mouth and brandished it hard.

"La.. run.." Kavindra screamed in panic.

"AAaaaa..................................." Alea's voice shrill was heard in all directions. The girl actually rarely screams when faced with problems. If yes, his voice is usually defeated by the cry of Kavindra. But this time, regardless of what possessed her, Alea's cry was really loud.

The girl called Mahesa's name repeatedly. Although he actually knew that the lover could not possibly come to this age. The rules of time do not allow Mahesa the future Celestial Emperor to visit the early civilizations without permission from the Celestial Emperor. Alea was convinced that Kundali would not be as flexible as Nazaxenna. That emperor would definitely never allow Mahesa to enter the transition world without a clear reason.

"Kav's... Kav... that's there.." cried Alea while pointing towards the torch-like light.

"Village Le...the village.." cried Kavindra pleased. They both finally had hope. The two shouted loudly, hoping the residents could hear their cries.

Kavindra and Alea's efforts were not in vain. They saw some residents coming out of round houses made of brown plant fibers.

They drove away the beast with arrows and stone-eyed spears. The attacks of the residents overwhelmed the animal. He fell down after a long time trying to survive.

As the residents approached Alea and Kavindra, they looked closely at the two future humans.

The clothes worn by Alea and Kavindra caught their attention. It is obvious that the two men did not come from the same place.

Alea turned towards Kavindra. The residents before him did not speak an understandable language. Their voices sounded heavy and heavy.

"It's not Sundayana." whispered Alea.

Kavindra shrugged her shoulders. "Gue guess first also we do not really understand the Sundayana language, just thanks to the magic of the sky... we know their language and they also vice versa is not it?".

Alea nodded. He agreed with the conclusion of Kavindra. They needed a miracle to be able to interact with the ancient inhabitants.

Kavindra tries to communicate with body language.

Fortunately, the ancient man seemed to understand. They took Alea and Kavindra to the largest round house.

"Neolithic man." whispered Kavindra.

"I mean this transition world?".

"This may be the end of the Greenlandian period... ".

Alea's face shriveled, he did not understand Kavindra's explanation.

"Experts used to call it the beginning of the Holocene..do not say elo ga tau Holocene too? Elo opened Le".

"You know that mah! But I don't know Greenlandian...".

"Greelandians are the early Holocene, this is the age where humans lived after the ice age. After the Greelandians, the earth will enter a geological age called Northgrippian. At this time, neolithic cities began to develop rapidly, for example, cities in Mesopotamia".

"What does this have to do?".

"Yes?".

"Yes elo's explanation just now, the same as what we experienced...".

"If this is the transitional world mentioned by the Raseyan, then the King of Sundayana was stuck in the transition period of the mesolithic to the neolithic".

"However, I don't understand.. What time did he live in?".

"Advanced and hidden paleolithic age".

"Huh?" Alea was surprised by the terminology used by Kavindra.

"Lo ga inget Kundali's explanation? The human world has actually developed in the paleolithic era. Other humans live according to the history known by scientists.the paleolithic civilization which was then continued by the mesolithic. The world that has undergone the revolution of the earth, the world whose civilization is returned to zero".

Alea fell silent. He is reminded of the actions of the Devil Jawn and Mur who destroyed the civilization of the humans who lived in the late Pleistocene. Now he understood why Nazaxenna allowed the two evil beings to disrupt the earth order. Is the loss of advanced civilization in the Pleistocene era indeed a plot that must be experienced by the earth?

"So this village?".

"If I see they have settled like this, it means they have gone through a mesolithic age, and are now transitioning to the neolithic" said Kavindra while observing the simple village around him.

There are six medium-sized round houses that surround one house with a large size.

Unlike the Sundayana residents who were forced to leave the village because of the Agros attack. Residents in this village seem to be able to enjoy life on the ground. In the corners of the village there are some plants that seem to be in the middle of their cultivation. Alea could see some fruiting trees surrounding the right side of the village. The sounds of the animals being domesticated were also heard from several directions. The residents seemed to have successfully tamed some of the animals and cultivated them.

"They're semi-nomadic, evidence of a transition to neolithic times" whispered Kavindra again. The residents took the two to the largest round house. There were already some elderly residents waiting in front of the entrance. They tried to observe Alea and Kavindra's faces with the torches they were holding.

The sun was getting dark and the sky was getting darker. Before the darkness enveloped the ancient village, the elders of the tribe seemed to want to get to know the guests who had suddenly come to them.

"Le... They're not cannibals, are they?". Kavindra looks worried. The faces of the elders observing him from top to bottom made his feelings uneasy.

"I don't think so. Look they brought the beast back there. I think tomorrow morning, they'll skin the animals for their daily needs" Alea guessed.

"Wo.wa.ww.a.du ah uh". A middle-aged man in front of them tried to communicate with Kavindra.

"Uh... Uh... Ah.." answered Kavindra pretentiously.

"Ah uh? Duh!".

"Well.." answered Kavindra again.

Alea pinched the small waist of Kavindra. With lips clenched yet still able to make a sound, Alea criticized the man's actions.

"Bro... if it turns out he just what good elo meat for me to eat how?".

"Ga Le... didn't.. said they weren't cannibals?".

"That's my guess for a while...".

The soft voice of a young man shocked Alea and Kavindra.

"We're not man-eaters...".

Alea. He cannot forget the voice of the man who was once his life partner.

Alea's palm covered her tiny, surprised lips. The Raseyan figure he was looking for turned out to live in this ancient village.

Raseyan looked more mature than when Alea left him. The appearance is more mature and strong. He no longer looked like a frail young man in need of protection.

"Raseyan? Raseyan??????" call Alea in disbelief.

Kavindra is sitting drowning. He was grateful to finally find a human to talk to.

"Kav?????". Raseyan approached Kavindra who was drowning. The man asked the residents to take Kavindra to his residence. A large round house located in the middle of the settlement.

***

"Kav, don't do that drama." whispered Alea who was groggy facing Raseyan alone. Kavindra even fun to sleep soundly on a pile of dry grass that became the bed Raseyan.

The good looks of the young man in front of her made Alea misbehave. Raseyan no longer looks like a spoiled teenage boy. Now they look the same age, or you could say Raseyan seems to be older than him.

The young man looked at Alea without saying a word.

Smile expands.

His eyes did not move.

He continued to observe the woman who had been his queen.

Alea tried to shake off her awkwardness by sipping on the water coming from the green-colored plant essence.

"So.... How's Mahesa doing?".

Raseyan's first question made Alea choke.

"Queen... Are you okay?".

Raseyan. He realized his mistake. The young man bit his lip for a moment. He then corrected his speech.

"I mean Alea...".

Alea's face was completely flushed. If compared, the redness of his cheeks may be able to beat the red color of apples or tomatoes. His heart thumped when he heard the sound of the Raseyan baritone.

Alea smiled wryly. His eyes widened trying to find a topic of conversation to remove the stiffness between the two of them. The girl scratched the sole of Kavindra's foot. He hoped that the annoying man would wake up immediately and help him melt the atmosphere.

"It looks like you've read the note I left?".

"Ah? Yes." replied Alea grogi. He could hear his chest beating like a drum beat from Kavindra's favorite Metallica song. Alea smiled wryly. He did not know why the scenario to apologize to Raseyan just collapsed. He used to be very confident. Yeah, is it hard to apologize?

Raseyan's charming visuals made Alea forget the words she had composed. In the end, not a word came out. Cute lips. Brain's dumb.

"Mahesa brought me to this place...".

Alea.

He hoped his hearing was wrong.

"This is a transitional world in harmony with the history of the earth in which you will live. And I'll be a part of it".

Raseyan continued his words.

"Although my name will never be written in history. I'll just be a fossil whose name no human will remember".

"Raz, i...". Alea was unable to continue her sentence.

Raseyan blinked his eyes.

"I already know Alea. Mahesa told me everything....".

"About this?" Alea pointed towards her stomach.

The young man nodded slowly.

"But you know. I'm sure fate wouldn't be that cruel to me...".

Raseyan looked back at Alea.

"I'm sure that the square stone given by Kavindra will bring you back to see me".

"Kavindra said he buried the stone with you? What the hell is going on?" asked Alea curiously.

"When Kavindra left me to bring the rest of the people of Sundayana out of this place.... Andulu secretly came back to see me. He brought the square stone I buried with Kavindra. According to Andulu, the stone floated right in front of him. It was as if the stone wanted to come back to me".

Raseyan shut up for a moment. He turned his gaze to the ceiling of his rumba house.

"The rock is strangely lost. on the cliffs there. A world I've never known before".

Alea was still unable to understand the content of Raseyan's conversation. If this world were a world that would be connected to the future. Then why was the square stone found on the site of Mount Padang?

"Because this world will be the truth for your world, Alea. Future residents will not recognize the world where Sundayana once stood. This is the world where the later fort of Sundayana was buried by new rock formations and new civilizations under different rulers".

"And they never knew that you were once my queen." said Raseyan lirih.

Alea's chest came back beating.

He did not want to hear Raseyan's words that made his heart jump to and fro.

"So now you're the new king of this place?" ask the girl to try to divert the conversation.

Raseyan threw his smile again.

"Yes, I returned to being a chieftain with a new population that I found by the river.".

"What about Andulu and Amatya?".

"They had fallen asleep Alea a few years ago because of an old disease. They can finally sleep peacefully. For a long time, I lived with those who did not know my past".

Alea fell silent. He could see the sadness in Raseyan's eyes.

"But you are back here again Alea. It seems that my solitude will soon end in accordance with my dreams".

The girl was silent. He was worried that Raseyan might be mistaken. His arrival back to the young man's side was not because Alea wanted to spend the rest of her life with Raseyan. Nor is it to help the young man complete the mission to reach a new civilization.

How'this?

Would Raseyan be willing to let him return once more to the future?

Alea really doesn't want to be stuck in the Greenlandian end. He wanted to go home, back to his Mahesa side.
