Dilemma Intersection
Chapter 25. Loss

Since that humiliating encounter with Dirga that day, Indira had never seen him again. Though every day Indira ate at the warteg, but already almost two weeks they have never met. He began to feel lost again, the longing was again present to shackle his heart.

"Maybe he was already happy with his little family," Indira recalled Dirga, the one who was truly capable of ravaging his heart.

Even Indira did not realize, if the attitude of Athaya this time a little changed. Athaya is not as possessive as it used to be, even communication between them can happen only once or twice. During these two weeks, Athaya accompanied Aini who still could not move much. All the families of Athaya had known all the events that had happened to him, and their words were now ringing in Athaya's head.

"Sholat isikharah, then you will find a way out of your problems,"

That was what Ummi said, and honestly Athaya began to feel comfortable on the side of Aini. Like this time, Athaya escorted Aini back to her house.

"Sister, I'm sorry to be so self-reported," Aini said as she lowered her head.

"You're not wrong, Aini. Maybe everything is God's destiny, don't think too much! Let you get well" Athaya ruffled Aini's hair.

"Do you know, Brother Dira, if I am here? I don't want Kak Dira to misunderstand later," said Aini.

"Not yet, but he wouldn't misunderstand me if I explained. She's a good woman, although a little jutek" Athaya said with a laugh.

He pushed Aini's wheelchair, his heart racing. This time, he would meet with both of Aini's parents to apologize. Athaya's footsteps stopped, as she stared at a photograph of her.

"Here, is he your family?" point Athaya at a photo of a man.

"Yes, that's my second brother. His name is Dirga Agung Prayoga, he is in the army and is now serving in Sukabumi. Why Sis? Recognize?" ask Aini as if she knows nothing.

"O Allah, this is the answer to my istikharah prayers during this time," Athaya's mind stared at the ring that filled her ring finger.

"Sister! Kok daydreamed," Aini waved her hand at Athaya's face.

"Emm, it's okay! Yaudah we meet Papa with your mother," she pushed back Aini's wheelchair.

Papa Dirga and Mama Dirga gasped in shock at the condition of her daughter, they hugged Aini very tightly.

"Oh my God, Aini! Why is your condition this bad, but you don't want to tell Mama Papa, son!" Mama Dirga was crying over her youngest child.

"This is how you rebuke me, O Allah. After my only son fought against death, now my youngest daughter," said Papa Dirga.

The deg!

Did Athaya hear Papa Dirga's words, against death? Whatdoes thatmean?

That's a series of questions that are in Athaya's head.

Emboldened, Athaya greeted Aini's parents.

"Om, Auntie, forgive my mistake. By accident, I hit Aini. But I promise, I will take care of Aini until she recovers!" athaya said firmly.

Aini's parents looked at each other, especially when they saw the ring in Athaya's sweet day.

"Sorry, Son. We cannot accept your promise, my daughter's future let us think about it. You already have an escort, don't you? Don't let him misunderstand. Aini will be our responsibility, now you better go home. Thank you for having good intentions" said Papa Aini firmly.

"But Om..."

"Come Aini, we're in!" Mama Aini already pushed her daughter's wheelchair.

"Tante, wait! Aini, I'll take care of you! Aini, help Om!" pinta Athaya's.

"Go home. And never come back here" said Papa Aini.

Forced Athaya had to go from there, somehow his heart felt sad. For two weeks, she's been keeping Aini in the hospital. There was a sense of loss in his heart, his togetherness with Aini had unconsciously made Athaya worried. His phone rang a few times, it was a call from Indira.

"I'm sorry, Dira! I need the peace of the moment" Athaya's inner self, then she deactivates her phone.

While in Sukabumi, Indira was already feeling restless. He got a message from the Mother to come to his Oma's house immediately. Currently, he was having breakfast at one of the porridge stalls near Koramil.

"Oh Allah, Athaya! Where the hell are you, when this is urgent!" upset Indira tried to contact Athaya's phone, unfortunately Athaya's phone is now inactive.

"Quiet, Ra! Do I need an anter? But with a motorbike, is it okay?!"  tawar Doni's.

"Can? I need to get home now!" Indira is very upset.

While not far from the field, Bian heard their conversation. He immediately ran towards the dormitory, without saying his regards he opened the door of the Dirga dormitory house.

"Oh my God, Pot! Hanger aing for a long time," upset Dirga.

"Readily wrong! S.O.S Captain!" Bian spoke while panting.

"What SOS?! Floor cleaner!" ketus Dirga, how not he is currently enjoying a cup of hot black coffee, because of the shock of the coffee spilled onto his shirt.

"That's! It's about the lady, Captain! He wants to go back, but no one wants to. Noh his friends want to use the motorbike," Bian's speech made Dirga glare.

"Why did you say that, cut it!" Dirga immediately ran into his room, grabbed the car keys and rushed away.

"Kapteeeenennnnn.......!!" yell Bian.

"What hell! Hurry up, Pot!" Dirga was very upset with Bian.

"Hurry really haste, if you want a snacken mistress because of the breakup of doang!" ketus Bian makes Dirga embarrassed.

"Jeez, Pooooootttt! Why did you say daritadi?!" Dirga went back into his room.

"Huf! The captain became bego if it was the business of the mistress," complained Bian.

Dirga could see Indira who was preparing to leave, Dirga quickly stopped Doni's motorbike.

"Wooyyy! Sape lo, watch your car, I'm ruffled!" doni yelled loudly.

Seeing Dirga coming down from the car, his guts suddenly shrunk.

"I'll take Indira to Bandung!" dirga.

"O-okay, Bang! Get off you, Ra! Mending use sono's car, to be safe, peaceful, peaceful and prosperous!" chirp Doni while scratching his non-itchy head.

"Ck! Bummer you, Don!" upset Indira then get into Dirga's car.

"What matters is that my life is safe, Ra!" muttered Doni.

"This makes gasoline the same as eating your friends," Dirga thrust a few pieces of money a hundred thousand on Doni.

"Waaawww... Thanks Bang! Be careful on the road, ye! Babehnya fierce, don't spare that child scuffed stuff a little!" said Doni and Dirga glorified while smiling.

Along the way there were no serious talks between the two, Dirga could see the look on the face of worry in Indira's eyes.

"Syafa, relax...! Everything will be fine, just drink it first," Dirga gave a bottle of mineral water to Indira.

"Thank you, Mom! I'm worried about the condition of Oma," said Indira who can no longer stem her tears.

Maybe because of tired, Indira sleeps. Until Dirga had to stop his car around the tea garden. Because he doesn't know the direction to Oma Syifa's house.

"Mh.. Did you come, Mas?" Indira blinked her eyes.

"It's been spilled, Syafa. But I don't know the way" Dirga rubbed Indira's head.

"That's the way forward, turn right straight on, Mas! I've been up, deh," said Indira makes Dirga more anxious.

Now they have arrived at the home of Oma Syifa, Dirga's heart beat fast when he saw a lot of people there.

"Where's Athaya? Who is this?" ask Oma Syifa.

"Hai Oma is beautiful, I am Dirga Shafa's friend," Dirga kissed Oma Syifa's hand.

"MashaAllah, there is a wind what Oma's grandson this one. He said anti-soldiers, but they were soldiers, "god Oma Syifa.

"Omaaa.." whined Indira whose cheeks were already flushed with embarrassment.

Indira approached Mother Gisya who was preparing a snack for all of them. Oma Syifa patted Dirga on the shoulder, making Dirga gasp in shock.

"Please call the bucin General!" the Oma Syifa.

"Well, Oma," Dirga got up and approached Fahri's father.

"Dad, it's called Oma!" whispered Dirga in Fahri.

The two of them came back to Oma Syifa who was smiling towards them.

"What's up, Bun? Mommy needs something, hm?" ask Father Fahri gently.

"Don't repeat Mother's mistake in the past, fight for your daughter's happiness. Like Mommy fighting for Caca's happiness first," said Oma Syifa.

"Yes, Mother! Brother will strive for the happiness of the children Brother, without Mother asking for it surely Brother will do it," stressed Father Fahri.

"That's it, get Dira out of Athaya! He's tormented with his inner being, Bang! Consider this your last request!" Oma Syifa looked at Father Fahri with a sharp look.

"And you! Be prepared, you must be a priest when prayers come!" the Oma Syifa.

"Okay Oma" replied Dirga.

Fahri and Dirga's father were both pensive, Fahri's father thought carefully about the words of the in-laws. While Dirga is currently thinking deeply about Indira's feelings.

"Why did you bring Dira here?" ask Fahri's father.

"Athaya couldn't be contacted since morning, Dad! Dira had rejected the time I invited, but finally he wanted because he was worried about the condition of Oma," replied Dirga.

"Oh, rest first! Surely you cape drive, and do not forget to prepare for prayer later," Father Fahri patted Dirga on the shoulder.

Dirga chose to join Indira and his brothers, they also easily mingled with Dirga. And did not feel the time of prayer maghrib had arrived, Husayn who became the Imam during the prayer maghrib. They continued it with the tadarus together while waiting for the Isya prayer to arrive.

Adhan Isya reverberated, Dirga was ready to stand in front to become an Imam. Indira again shed his tears, this time Dirga managed to make him fall in love again. Dirga's voice when chanting the holy verse of the Qur'an can more calm his heart.

After the prayer, they continued with dinner together. Dirga was stunned to see the length of the dining table in front of him.

"Ga, here sits Deket Aa," Alan told Dirga.

"Eitt'S.... Nope! Here Ga, sit down Brother!" Husain called Dirga.

"Here, here ain't my deket!" kekeh Alan's.

"Don't! Here's my deck, "Husain pulled Dirga and Alan's hands together.

"Stoooooo!!! That if Mas Yoga's hand is how long?! Do you want responsibility?! Sit here, Mum! Dad's Deket same Bang Mirda aja to be safe," suddenly Indira's speech made a smile on everyone's face.

"Cieeee.." compact them all.

Oma Syifa gave an eye gesture and nod to Father Fahri and Mother Gisya.

"Mother's request, we will definitely grant," Inner Father Fahri and Mother Gisya as their two hands hold tight.

The time has shown at ten o'clock in the evening, they held a mat in the middle room. They will sleep together, just as Oma Syifa wishes.

"Ca, wipe the forehead Mother dong! While sholawatan yes," pinta Oma Syifa.

"Yes Mother" they all held back crying when they heard Oma Syifa say.

Allahumma sholli `ala Sayyidina Muhammadin thibbil qulubi wa dawa-iha.. Wa `afiyatil abdani wa syifa-iha wa nuril abshori wa dhiya-iha wa `ala alihi wa shohbihi wa sallim..

Sholawat Mother Gisya made Oma Syifa's eyes begin to shut little by little, Fahri's father approached the in-law and whispered a sentence.

"Laa ilaha illallah." whispered Father Fahri as he stroked Oma Syifa's forehead.

"Laa.. Ilha.. Illallah....." Oma Syifa had already breathed her last.

"Innalillahi wa inna ili rojiun....." Fahri's father kissed his in-law's forehead and then rushed to hug the wife who had been crying roaring.

"Omaaaa.....!!" yell at them at the same time.

"Dear patience, please Oma," Mirda clutched her body tightly.

"The strong guy! InshaAllah Oma was happy," Alana also clutched tightly the body of the husband who had now begun to relax.

"Oma! Don't stay with Dira, Oma! Dira is not happyin Oma yet," Indira continues to cry kissing Oma Syifa's legs.

"Shafa, relax! Ikhlaskan, Oma is happy. Look, Oma's face is very radiant and fragrant. Sincerely yes," Dirga stroked Indira's head and Indira turned to hug Dirga's body. He needs a backrest, his heart is very fragile. She had completely lost Oma Syifa, because Oma Syifa was indeed close to all her grandchildren.

"Omma.. Dirga will take care of Oma's favorite granddaughter, "inner Dirga.

In the morning, Athaya immediately headed to the house of Oma Syifa. He cursed his own stupidity that was sad to think about Aini's condition. But the bitter reality must be accepted, when Indira cried in Dirga's arms.

"Let go! Let me accompany him" Athaya hugged Indira forcefully.
