Dream Is An Alternate Universe
Gwanghwamun

A man walked happily in the cold autumn air. Occasionally his eyes steal glances to all corners of Gwanghwamun Square. As if a newcomer, he could not hide his admiration when observing the Gwanghwamun rock. Though this was already the thirty-second year he lived in this Gingseng Country, but he was continuously amazed by the historic building. Either there is a spell what makes him always feel captivated. His two feet continued to walk down the streets of Gwanghwamun Square. The man's journey was accompanied by deciduous leaves, which, as brown as his curly hair, looked very beautiful. The fragrant bushes of coffee are now entering his sense of smell and making him pause for a moment.

“Ah, do I have to stop by?” he murmured while stroking his chin and knocking his shoes on the sidewalk.

“Hum, he can understand that I brought machiato,” with a smile that re-expanded, the brunette man entered the cafe which became the source of the fragrant smell of coffee earlier.

“Welcome,” a man much younger than him, he is about twenty-six years old, welcome his presence. The tanned-haired man chose to sit at a table close to the glass.

“Oh, you're our loyal customer. The usual message?” a woman over half a century old greeted him with joy.

“Ya, cappucino one,” replied the man without a doubt.

“Alright, one warm cappucino. Is there anything else? Food for example?” the woman asked again.

“No, that's it,” reply brunette guy smoothly.

“Oh, okay. Wait a minute, yes,” the woman returned to the kitchen while the man replied with a friendly smile. The woman conveyed the order to another employee, the twenty-six-year-old man, who was also her son. Meanwhile, the man was engrossed in staring at the scene outside the cafe window. Her memory drifted by the time she came with her lover to this place last fall, before she went to another country very far away.

“Oppa, you agree ‘kan that this cafe machiato is the most delicious?” She could still remember her sweet voice and the glare of her lover's eyes that glittered like diamonds back then.

“I agree that the cappuccino is delicious. I didn't know that machiato and wasn't interested either,” back then he replied with a small joke.

“Hey, next time try another drink. Isn't bored with cappucino continuously?”

“No, I've fallen in love with cappucino. It's just like you told me to cheat, really weird.”

“Excuse me, customer, this is your cappucino. Congratulations,” a glass of cappucino was presented in front of him.

“Thank you,” reply the man while smiling again.

“Sama-sama,” the middle-aged woman replied before returning to the kitchen. The brown-haired man took a slow sip of his cappuccino until he did not leave a single drop.

He checked his phone and patted the eel, “Ah, I can be late if it is too long here!” His feet he pinta to run to the cashier table, “I want to pay and .. ah, yes, order a cold machiato one.”

“Alright, wait for a while,” this time who serves himself is the son of the woman earlier. After waiting for another ten minutes, the brunette immediately paid the total price of the drink he bought and moved from there in a bit of a hurry. Machiato who was in his hands he hoped could make up for his lover's annoyance just in case he was late.

“Hyung doesn't even remember me anymore as his best friend. How's this, Eomma? Should we tell the truth?” the man who worked behind the cashier looked at his best friend's passing with nanar.

“It's precisely because of the truth that he's like this, son. I feel sorry for her,” the woman wiped the tears that fell quickly.

“Five years have passed, Eomma. Every time I see him visit this date makes me sad. Can't I do something for my best friend, Eomma? He looks like a fool in the eyes of those who cannot understand him,” the child also started shedding tears.

“Time will wake him up if his girlfriend is dead because of an accident in front of the stop. He alone can heal himself by accepting it all,” replied the mother softly.

“But, when, Eomma? I couldn't see it like this kept,” the man leaned back to the kitchen table and sighed.

“When working mysteriously .. no one will know for sure until when it is like this, son. So, strengthen yourself for your best friend.”
