Dream Is An Alternate Universe

Dream Is An Alternate Universe
Flashback#1 [Group Game Bonus]

That afternoon after school, the building was completely deserted. No more students or teachers were in sight. Only Cassie was there alone standing on the roof of the library building.

“What am I living for? Liya's right, I'd rather die,” stuffing out of her lips along with a sentence.

“Nobody cares about me. No one can care about me,” now it's tears falling from her eyes.

“I go.” Cassie stood at the end of the building, preparing to pick up the dead that were down there.

However, it has not been time to step up, a voice called out to him, “Cassie!” It was Kei, he caught up with Cassie so he knew she was on the roof of the library.

“Do not approach! Didn't you hear?” the woman's feet slowly retreated. Kei kept approaching him. Cassie took another step back, the move almost made her fall.

“Aaaa!”

Hap!

Luckily, Kei was able to catch Cassie's hand and lift it so that she could stand back on the roof and then cover the body of the woman who was shaking with the black corsa she was wearing and pat her soft back.

“Ei, I will not leave you as Liya and his gang said. Don't do that again, Cassie, please, your brother would be sad to see you now. Relax, I'm here.”

“Then how can I live with all this? All this trouble, all this ridicule..I don't deserve to be your best friend..also Gita, Freya, also Helena...I'm not a person who deserves anyone,” Cassie still sobbing.

“As for what Liya wants to say, I'm still your best friend. They are still your friends. You are not ready to die, do not talk about death,” Kei still pat the woman on the back, “they are wrong. They are outrageous. They should be the ones getting the punishment, not you. Hey, I already reported them to school. Relax, okay?”

“They threaten...”.

“Fuck, errors like this should be reported. I'll also report what you'll do so they can get out of school if necessary.”

“Don't, Kei. Just keep it a secret, I promise I won't repeat it. Only you, me, and God know this. Keep it secret until the time is right. They still need to go to school,” Cassie stood up slowly and gave Kei a corsa to her owner.

“Ei, just wear it, you're still shaking. All right, now we get down from here on the stairs. Do I have to call Auntie?” Cassie tightened Kei's korsa and shook her head.

“No, I went home alone. As usual, take an angkot,” replied the woman slowly.

“Or you can ride with my dad. That would be better,” Kei smiled at Cassie, “do not feel like a burden. Should've helped. We're best friends, aren't we?”

“Thank you,” whispered the woman slowly.

“Sama-sama,” reply Kei, “If there is a problem just tell me, don't just soak it. Well, my father's car is already ahead and..”.

“Dan, what?”

“You told me to keep that a secret, what should I say?” the man looked around for a moment, the school was completely deserted and there were only the two of them there, “ah, don't think of anything. I've got an idea.” After they went down the stairs to the base again, Kei immediately led Cassie to her father's car. He decided to explain the situation to his father first.

“How , Well?”

“Cas, go in,” Keu patted Cassie on the back.

“Will it be okay? Your father didn't reject me ‘ right?” the woman looked down again, “I. Right ‘kan?”

“Ei, since when did you start doubting your sister? No, no, there was a mistake back then, you know ‘kan. Just come in, my father also knew your brother's detention was a mistake,” after persuading again, Cassie finally wanted to go in and sit in the second part of the car, while Kei sat in the front with his father.

“Nak, where is your home?” kei's father's voice resuscitated Cassie.

“My house...”.

“Ah, forgive me. I mean your temporary home-“

“I don't want to go back there for now. Just take her to my house, Om. Jalan Megamendung number 7, Kecamatan-“

“Cas, that's right, your appointment is definitely waiting there.”

Cassie just shook her head at Kei's words, “I can explain to auntie later. I just wanted to be alone. Just take it to my house. I'll show you the way and Kei, don't look for me tomorrow at school.”

After escorting Cassie to her house, Kei looked agitated. At least, in his father's eyes. “What's up, Kei?”

“Huh? Nothing really, Dad,” replied Kei origin.

“There must be nothing. You until you give up your corset brought by someone else,” the man tried to look at his son.

“I'm just helping him, we're best friends.”

“Not your relationship, what's with the kid?”

“Cassie?”

“Yes, he seems to disturb your mind with the phrase ‘don't look for me in school’. You guys quarrel?” Kei then laughed.

“Well, how could he want to be with me if he quarrels,” he then grunts. He could not tell about the suicide attempt of his friend, it's just... if you tell the bullying experienced by Cassie, can ‘kan?

“She was compromised,” Kei replied briefly.

“Bagitu, huh? That's what makes him want to not go to school tomorrow?”

“He's been holding her for so long alone. Maybe he just needs space to reflect on everything, alone again. Perhaps,” Kei tried to brush off all the bad things he had in mind. No, Cassie promised Kei to stay alive and that her best friend would have to live to see the retribution he had on Cassie's bullies.
