"Bungsu in the Alamjaya family?" Mami Linda's eyes widen. His heart beats unbecoming. Don't forget his face which is now pale as an undead. In his heart he asked if he had just made the big mistake of insulting Eric. "What do you mean, Jeng?" 

Everyone was still silent on the spot. The real Eric doesn't want his identity uncovered tries to assuage Mama Elvira's anger once again.

"Already, Aunt. Don't need to discuss. Let's just go home. Come on, I'll take you." 

However, the soft persuasion of Eric was not responded to by Mama Elvira at all. He will not forgive anyone who dares to insult his son. The woman took a deep breath. It took a great deal of courage for him to break a promise he once made to Eric, to keep his true identity a secret. "Eric was the son of my husband's second marriage. So far we have not announced because of Eric's own request" said Mama Elvira.

Mila's stunned. He looked questioningly at Eric. Mami Linda was unable to say anything more. His body might have staggered backwards if it did not hold on to the table. The shame! Maybe that's the right word for him now. 

"What does it mean that Eric is Alvin's brother? But how can it be?" Mila muttered in heart. Her tears kept flooding her beautiful face. All this time he felt very close to Eric and Alvin. But he doesn't even know something this important.

It was not only Mila who was shocked. Mami Linda is the same. Now the woman is looking at Eric and Mama Elvira with a face full of regret and confusion. "I'm sorry, Jeng Elvira! I'm really—" 

"No need to apologize!"cut Mama Elvira fast. "Now I can judge what your family is like!" Mama Elvira looked at Eric. He could see the sadness Eric was trying to cover with a calm demeanor. "Come, Son. We're home! You deserve a much better woman and certainly one who comes from a civilized family." 

"Eric, please don't go!" Mila interrupted quickly. The guilt and shame felt stronger hugging his heart. The beautiful and charming woman was about to step up, but the unfriendly gaze of Mama Elvira made her stare on the spot. 

Just now Eric and Mama Elvira were about to leave the place, their second steps suddenly stopped. Alvin was standing in the corner with Daniza with a tense face. Excessive worry for Mama and Eric made her follow soon.

"Alvin?"

Mama Elvira jerks. It never occurred to him that Alvin and Daniza would follow him there. Even now his son was casting an intimidating look. But Mama Elvira kept trying to be calm. He doesn't want Eric to be more embarrassed if it turns out that Alvin is rejecting the fact that Eric is his one-father sister. 

"Alvin, Eric, let's just talk about this at home, yeah," asked the mother, trying to stay calm.

A pair of Alvin's eyes glazed over. Anger and disappointment were evident in his gaze. The unpleasant surprise he got today seemed to be able to paralyze his senses.

"Come, Honey. We're getting out of here!" Without excuse, he embraces Daniza leaving the place. Mama Elvira and Eric soon followed Alvin's rapid footsteps. Before the man got into the car, Mama Elvira had already pulled his arm. 

"Wait, Vin! Let me explain everything first so you don't misunderstand!" 

"What's the explanation, Mah?" squeal Alvin. "It's clear that Mama and Eric have been lying to me?" Alvin spoke with his jaw tightened. Trying not to yell at his mom.

"It's not so, son! That's why listen to Mom first! Eric it ...."

"I don't want to hear any explanation Mama or him!" shout Alvin. His eyes lit up emitting anger. 

Mama Elvira was stunned. This is the first time Alvin can beat him, whether in a conscious state or not.

Daniza who stood by Alvin's side kept trying to calm her husband. "Patience, Mother! I'm sure Mama and Brother Eric have an explanation for all this."

Mama Elvira and Eric stayed in place while staring at the car that was slowly getting away. 

From the direction of the park, looks Mila half-run. "I'm sorry, Auntie. My mom was wrong. But I really love Eric sincerely. I don't care who Eric is" said Mila. However, the woman had to swallow the bitter disappointment, because Eric did not look at her in the slightest.

"Mila, for a while you'd better reflect carefully. Eric also needs time to think things through" Mama Elvira replied. "I can't possibly let Eric into a family that views others as merely of social status." 

"But, Tantee—" 

"That's it." Mama Elvira paused her speech with a breath. He pulled Eric's arm. "Come, Son! We're home!"

After Alvin's departure in a state of anger from the Mila family home, Mama Elvira decides to take Eric to the apartment.

If Alvin and Eric are reunited now in an unstable emotional state, there may be a worse misunderstanding, so Mama Elvira chooses to calm Eric first. And leave Alvin's business to Daniza for now. He was aware and understood how devastated his two sons felt at this time. 

Now Eric is sitting on the couch with his head down. His eyes were empty with almost no expression. Mama Elvira sat by her side and rubbed her shoulders gently. 

"I'm sorry, Auntie." Eric opens his voice. "I've made Aunt a lot of trouble. Started since the departure of mama papa. And until now, I'm still a burden to Auntie. Papa cheating with my mom makes Aunt hurt."

Mama Elvira wiped away the tears. Eric's words are like an indiscriminate scratching wound. "Who said you were a burden? Not at all."

"But Alvin will definitely hate me after knowing all this." Eric's voice was trembling. His eyes were filled with clear liquid. Pulling his own hair, frustration seemed to freeze his brain.

"That's not gonna happen. Alvin will accept you as his brother. You've been together for years and Alvin can't possibly hate you!" 

"That's because Alvin doesn't know who I am yet! After this, she'll definitely hate" Eric said. "After all, who wants to have a brother as a result of his father's affair, Auntie? I was the result of papa's biggest mistake!" 

Can't stand it, Mama Elvira grabbed Eric. Both of them were in tears. The old wounds that actually wanted them to be buried deep were re-emerging to the surface. Creating a great pain.

Eric may look strong from the outside, but keeps the wound as deep as the ocean.
