Dungeon Builder: The Demon King'S Labirinth Is A Modern City
Chapter 22: Conquest of the Dungeon

~ Back to Procell viewpoint ~

"Let's start right away."

I wriggled and then decided to begin the conquest of our [Wind] Dungeon Demon Lord Stolas solemnly.

As of now, I have only watched the situation in the white room that unites our two Dungeons.

"Oto-san, it's boring—"

Tenko puffed her cheeks.

"Yes, sorry. I just think it's better to attack after their numbers have been reduced. Plus, if there's someone the Golems can't handle, we'll be able to provide backup much faster if we're here. ”

[Wind] Demon Lord Stolas was angry. Moreover, he had a personality that did not want to be lost. If things were left like that, he would charge his troops one after another.

I'm not really interested in attacking his Dungeon while providing support to myself so it's better to attack after he uses a portion of his combat troops.

I also don't have to worry about him conquering my Dungeon because I have seen his army when I stand in this white room and he doesn't have monsters that are resistant to physical attacks like slime and the ghost-type monster that I was worried about. He also had no monsters that could be used as a shield.

In the first place, [Wind] was an attribute geared towards stealth and mobility.

The [wind] monsters will tend to be very mobile but have low stamina. To be honest, those who could not make full use of their speed in my basement were easy results.

Caliber D2 .50 Exploration.

Overall length: 1560mm

Weight: 38.0 Kg.

Caliber: 12.7mm x 99

Fire rate: 650 revolutions per minute

Effective distance: 2,000 meters

Armed with a heavy machine gun, the Mithril Golem was able to conduct a barrage of 12.7mm bullets all from two kilometers away.

In other words, the 2 kilometer straight room in the basement I created meant that when the enemy set foot in the room, it also entered the range of the heavy machine gun. Furthermore, the lack of shelters and hideouts has made my dungeon a nightmare.

Mithril Golems had higher stamina and physical strength than ordinary A rank monsters but they were slow and their overall fighting ability was low.

However, if they were to use heavy machine guns, none of those weak spots would be meaningful and they could, make full use of their high offensive capabilities.

The normal firepower of the .50 caliber aircraft weaponry, the powerful physical strength of the Golems, and the Dwarf Smiths' charm, all combined would result in a firepower that would exceed the power of the higher A rank.

The enemy had to be an S rank monster to be able to withstand such a weapon being fired ten times in a second.

“Oto-san's underground prison is very simple but very powerful. This is awesome! ”

"It's actually more complicated than it looks."

It may look like a cave straight away but there are nuances to it, even if just a little.

The floor was slightly tilted with an increasingly steep slope getting closer to the entrance. It looks flat but the tendency of 1 ° will even result in a 3m height difference between the entrance and exit.

Even though a rifle bullet can travel at three times the speed of sound and a mostly straight trajectory, the bullet would still be pulled by gravity and thus fall 20-30 m lower before it could reach two kilometers. A tendency but a few degrees will give you that height.

The golems would shoot down so it would be easier for them but for every attack coming from the entrance, that height would succeed against him. And even if the track was to be used with an upward direction, a ceiling with a height of only 3m would block such a plan.

Any attack bound by the laws of nature and gravity would never be able to reach the Mithril Golem.

It was even if the heavy machine guns that the Golems used were stolen and then used against them.

And by deploying two Golems, any downtime would be eliminated and thus give the weapon enough time to cool down.

In addition, a large number of landmines were planted some distance away from the Golem and near them were full of neurotoxic gas traps.

"Master, the first room has been cleaned."

Elder Dwarf who could share his wits with the Golem whispered so.

I was a little surprised, I never expected them to reach the second room.

"hee. And thereafter? ”

“They died immediately in the next room. Cleaning up the room and then letting their bodyguards down, is stupid. ”

"Good."

Even if they could clean the first room, the second room was arranged exactly the same.

The third room was also though it was the most difficult. It was the last room so all the Golems, armed with special weapons unique to them, were deployed.

According to Elder Dwarf's story, Stolas used extremely powerful monsters as shields and then forcibly cleared the first chamber but it seemed that the same movement could no longer be played. If so, then, cleaning up the rest of the basement was impossible.

“But sir, the [Dragon] monster we are worried about has still not appeared. Maybe assigned to survive. ”

Marcho taught us that.

The old man Stolas was the [Dragon] Demon Lord Astaroth, arguably the strongest Demon Lord.

He also taught me that like my [Creation] medal, his [Dragon] is a special medal that can do special [Synthesis].

Marcho then said, “This is really hard to deal with but in terms of just his fighting ability, it is the strongest. Saying anything more than that would be cheating, so I'll stop now ”.

It is hard to imagine that the medal was not given to Stolas.

Does he retain his power? Is there any reason he can't use it? Is it too big and can't get into my narrow prison?

Either way, I have to stay alert.

"Yay! ♪ ”

"Understand me, sir."

"My lord, let's show you the power of your Legion of the Dead!"

And finally, we began our conquest of the Demon King [Wind] castle.

[Wind] The Demon King has assigned a large number of his combat troops to attack my dungeon.

His defense is now rare.

There's still an hour and a half left. That was enough to complete this conquest.

“Fuhahaha, how, my lord? The power of the undead legion! "

The skeletal monster who wore an elegant robe like that of a noble, Wight, burst out laughing.

He commanded twenty Undead monsters and annihilated the enemy.

I heard that his skills allowed him to directly train the Undead so I bought a Skeleton for every attack rifle I had.

The first room is a valley.

One wrong move and we'll fall down.

Inside the valley, the winged monster Stolas swirled in the sky.

Lack of footing is not a problem for them.

The problem for us is that they are diving from our blind spot. Moreover, they refused to approach us apart from the moment they attacked. An ordinary monster would probably eventually find out how he could defeat them.

"My lord, there is no blind spot for the Undead legion. Let me show you that our eyes see everything. ”

That is if their enemies are mediocre.

Wight connected to all twenty Skeletons and saw what they saw.

He had instructed the Skull to look at all directions and thus, eliminate the blind spots.

And then, at Wight's command, the Skulls showed their great coordination.

On his signal, the Skull immediately opened fire and shot down the bird monster.

"You're fine, Wight."

"I'm honored to have received your praise, My Lord."

She, in her graceful gestures as usual, thanked me.

Although the statistics are low, the performance is excellent.

Even when she thanked him, she remained wary of the surroundings.

"Tenko-sama, can we borrow your power?"

Wight suddenly raised his head and then faced Tenko.

"Yes-!"

Tenko nodded in agreement.

"Tenko-sama, on 60 ° south east, in 3 ... 2 ... 1 .. now!"

"Here we go."

Along with the Wight signal, Tenko pulled the trigger of her weapon.

A modified and fired Tenko large-caliber rifle. The shells split into countless numbers and crashed into the fast-flying green eagle-type monster.

The formidable enemy was the B rank. It had suffered a 5.56mm bullet from the Skull. Moreover, he could dodge the bullet after seeing it.

Wight judged the situation very well: he had determined that the Skull would not be able to hit a quick enemy or they would not be able to defeat him with their firepower, either, and thus asked Tenko who used a high caliber rifle to help them.

It shows that I can count on him.

"As expected of Tenko-sama, to take down that formidable foe in one hit!"

"Leave it to Tenko!"

He took it without any problem. His mood is good.

What was truly amazing was Wight. How I wish he was born S rank.

Does he want to be praised? She, in a very clear way, approached my right arm so of course I stroked her head.

Her soft and silky hair and fox ears were pleasant.

“Yay ♪! Oto-san's hands are so big! "

The Elder Dwarf looked envious as he restlessly looked around. I think he wants to do something and be praised as well. But he couldn't seem to force himself to ask for it.

Well now, we have to keep going as we have done so far.

We can see the exit for the first room.

Maybe it's not going as smoothly as before, we have to strengthen ourselves.
