Dusk For Eagle
Episode 16 (Well we get married.).

Her night...

He was still sitting in front of his computer. His piled up work makes him have to overtime tonight.

"Miss Dusk, you'd better go home now. Your work can be continued tomorrow" said General Manager who surprised Dusk.

"Yes sir, there are a few more finished, when I am done I will go home" replied Dusk in astonishment. It's not usually the GM that cares about him.

"Continue tomorrow, now you should go home," the GM repeated.

"But sir..."

"Please cooperate," said the GM, making Dusk confused. But...Better go home, he thought.

"Okay sir, I'll sort it out and go home" he said.

Dusk was out of the office at exactly 19:00 WIB. Outside, there was a taxi waiting for him.

"Miss Dusk?" ask the taxi driver.

"Yes me?"

"This is a taxi ordered by Mr. Kendra on behalf of Dusk" explained the taxi driver.

Dusk is getting confused, he tries to remember who Kendra is.

"His servant was the man, he must have told him" he murmured. Without thinking anymore, he immediately got into the taxi because he was tired.

After a taxi driven by Dusk drove away from the company, GM contacted someone.

"Miss Dusk has gone home, sir," he told the person across the phone.

"Hem," said the eagle briefly and immediately turned off his phone. Yes, this afternoon he went home, but did not see the twilight. It was too prestige to ask Anes or any other occupants of the house. After Maghrib Dusk was not yet seen, he finally contacted GM where Dusk worked. The GM checked it and it turned out that Dusk was still in the office. Eagle immediately ordered the GM to send him home, or he could have gotten the GM fired.

Half an hour later, Dusk arrived home. He kept walking towards the stairs.

The eagle frowned, why did Dusk just shut up not greet him who was sitting on the sofa, the girl just passed him by.

"Just home?" finally the Eagle took the initiative to talk first.

"That's all?" asked Anes who had been watching them since.

"You don't think mommy knows, actually since she was restless because she didn't come home, right?" a mother's instincts are always accurate!

Finally tonight they can have dinner together. The atmosphere between Eagle and Dusk still felt awkward.

The eagle stopped his eating by hearing Gisell's words. Even with Dusk, who did not know what Gisell meant. It's getting awkward.

"Don't be angry" Gisell saw the Eagle showing his puppy face.

"Continue eating" said the eagle briefly. He was rarely angry with his beloved sister.

"Ck base, bucket! hanging out with mama so it is" Gavin said.

Gavin was silent. Anes tried to melt the atmosphere by inviting them to chat and joke. Finally, they had dinner in a cheerful atmosphere.

The night was getting late, Dusk still could not close his eyes. At the sight of him Gisell was already asleep beside him. Slowly he pulled out his blanket and got out of bed.

Dusk walk to the back garden, want to see the star-filled sky there. His body pecked when he saw the shadow of a man standing behind him, looking up at the sky with both hands he put in his pajamas. Twilight could guess that he was an Eagle. Dusk slowly flips over and will return in. He didn't want to disturb the eagle.

"Why returned? Here!" said the Eagle who turned out to be aware of the arrival of Dusk.

With hesitation, Dusk approached beside the Eagle. Yes, maybe this is the right time for them to talk about the mandate of the Senja grandfather seriously.

For a moment the two of them fell silent while staring at the sky with their respective thoughts.

"Do you have to get married?" tanya Dusk started the conversation by keeping staring at the stars in the sky.

"That's my promise" said the Eagle without budging.

"I know you feel guilty about me, but you don't have to sacrifice your feelings and future by marrying me, there are many other ways you can do it," dusk.

"I really want to take responsibility for your life. From the beginning I had intended to marry you and it would not falter" said the Eagle.

"If I refuse?"

"There's no reason for you to turn me down, because that jerk guy who's been cheating on you with his best friend for years? heh! not a good reason. You also have confirmed your grandfather's trust, do you not want to realize his last request?" The eagle turned the Syafira question upside down.

Dusk was surprised, it seemed like the man standing beside her knew a lot about her. How did he know Niko and Mitha had been cheating on him for so many years?

"Then your lover? Aren't you alone?" tanya Dusk, he saw a photo of Bianca with the Eagle when it was displayed above the Eagle bedroom nightstand in the apartment. He does not want to be called as the actor in the future if the Eagle turns out to have a lover.

"We are no longer in a relationship. Trust me, I wouldn't be arbitrarily marrying you if I wasn't single. Hows it? Deal?" The eagle turned towards the girl whose height was only limited to her shoulders if she did not wear heels.

"What?" Even the twilight looked up a little. The look they meet.

For a moment the atmosphere became silent, they looked at each other under the dim moonlight. Not so clear their faces, but Dusk saw there was seriousness in the eyes of the man who was now being looked at.

"You want to marry me?" ask Eagle.

"Are you proposing to me?" still staring at each other.

"Take it that way" replied the Eagle.

"This is how people propose?" cebik Dusk in heart.

"Why silence? This is the last time I asked him, and the answer can't be no, it has to be yes" said the Eagle.

"What's that?"

"I'm not making an offer or a question, but a statement" the soul cannot be denied.

💦💦Huh Eagle is indeed stiff, why not a little stringing sweet words, which will support you to convince Dusk? Don't blame the author if Dusk rejects 🙄🙄

"All right then, I agree," replied Dusk later. There is no harm in opening a new page with new people.

The eagle smiled triumphantly in his heart, finally the stubborn girl was willing to marry him, and it came out of her own mouth with full awareness. In fact he could have married Dusk without his consent, but he would not have married her if the girl had not consented from her own mouth.

"Alright, everything will be ready as soon as possible. Now come in and rest!" said Eagle.

"You?"

"I still want to be here" replied the Eagle.

"Hem, I go in first. Do not be late outside, the night wind is not good for health," message Dusk before stepping.

"Hem," said the short Eagle.

Some stepped leaving the Eagle still standing in its place, Dusk stopped and turned his head.

"Thank you for the lunch, and also the taxi" said Dusk smiling. Yes, he was sure the food was him, and the taxi was too. It was Kendra who ordered a taxi, but it must have been the Eagle who ordered it.

Hearing him, the Eagle turned towards him without answering. He just smiled a little. The girl was pretty smart, he thought.

Dusk continued his steps inside, while the Eagle still remained in the park. Enjoying the lonely night, which represents how lonely his heart is at the moment. Daydreaming, I don't know what the man is thinking now in his solitude.
