Mauren's Rage

I could not stop worrying about him, I bowed lethargicly and kept thinking strangely, he was a good creature and I already knew him very well, I'm sure he won't hurt anyone out there even if he's overwhelmed by emotions, but what I'm afraid of is.

I was afraid that he was hurting his own feelings, I did not give up until there and went back to trying to call out again but I just cupped both my arms ready to call out to him, fortunately Strange arrived before me before I called him by force.

"Snake you're finally back, I love you so much Strange, please don't disappear like that again" I said as I hugged him tightly.

He didn't return my words he just gently rubbed my head slowly then pushed my body slowly and his face looked quite anxious, only I didn't know what made him anxious until it was like that.

"Snake, what's wrong with you?, are you feeling bad, or are you worried about something behind my back?" I was worried about his condition, though,

"Not Emely but Mauren" he said stifled by the look of the face that made me more curious.

"What's wrong with Mauren?" I ask again,

And I started to have a bad feeling when Pelik told me Mauren's name, I immediately felt anxious and grew curious.

"I think he has been completely controlled by evil creatures, or evil spirits in his body" the strange reply left me stunned.

I still did not understand what was conveyed by Strange but I had not had time to ask him to explain more, suddenly Devano opened the door of my room violently and his face also looked panicked.

"Brack....Emely bad!" Devano looked panicked.

Seeing Devano, Anita and Angel put on the same panic face, I immediately furrowed my eyebrows, plus Pelik who was also looking at me with the same panic, I was really surprised by what made them like that, until Devano started explaining everything to me.

"What's up Devano, how dare you go into my room like that!" I said looking at him sharply.

"This terrible thing about Mauren, he really became an evil spirit he was out of control and did a lot of chaos in the city" said Devano made me immediately stunned very shocked.

"WHAT?" I was so shocked.

A second from me said the sentence in shock, the sound of explosions outside sounded so loud and made everyone instantly shocked by closing their ears tightly.

"BOOM!..." The sound of a very loud explosion was accompanied by the screams of many people.

"aaakkkhh.monster, please there's a monster in the middle of the road, aaaa" shouted people so boisterously out there, saying,

"What's that sound?" Devano asked with his eyes wide open.

I ran straight to my bedroom window and when I looked down it was apparently a vehicle that was thrown and destroyed by Mauren, as well as a black fog that covered the streets around the city.

I saw clearly that the shadow monster was really very terrible and worse than ordinary humans could see it, many people were victims and all looked so chaotic, whereas I saw Mauren floating in the air with her body wearing iron equipment all over her body not forgetting that she was also standing with a black mist enveloping half of her body.

"Jeez.... What the fuck is this?" Devano said in shock when he saw Mauren's extraordinary figure with all the power in his body.

I could only be stunned to see such a huge creature and possess such an evil and gripping power, he looked more than a creature or an evil spirit he looked more like a monster to me, until not long Strange immediately pulled me and he closed the window quickly also shouted asking me also Devano to close all the air holes and windows in the house.

"Emely there is no time to explain we have to save ourselves, quickly close all the holes around this house, lest something flashy and close all the windows!" Strange speech that was immediately done by Devano.

I started to realize that when Angel pulled my hand and immediately took me away from the window, Strange also immediately made us all to the middle of the house and he immediately made a dark circle with his own hands.

"We should gather here and make sure you don't get out of the dark circles I've made, otherwise Mauren will see where you are and maybe she will kill you right then and there" strange words told me.

I immediately relayed what Pelik said to everyone, Angel and Anita hugged each other with great trembling and they were terrified, whereas Devano also looked very anxious.

And I still don't understand what I just saw and what's going on right now.

"What is this, why Mauren can turn that angry, I'm sure he's not a human being" I kept thinking.

"Now what we have to do and who we have to ask what really happened to Mauren, I cannot understand it myself" I grumbled with great anxiety and confusion.

Suddenly, Devano answered me just like that.

"Grandfather, is your grandfather the same as you?" I was curious, though,

"Of course he's even better than me and maybe he's the same as you Emely" she replied in seriousness,

"Then we have to see him" I said just like that.

I think if all the people like me come together maybe we can work together and find a solution to beat Mauren or put him down and get him back to what he was.

But when I asked Devano to take us to his grandfather's place, Pelik immediately held me back, he did not allow me to leave his circle.

"Emely what are you doing, do you want to die! If you get out of the supernatural circle I made, Mauren will quickly find you, and I'm afraid you won't be able to run much less fight it right now" Pelik said.

"But we can't just be quiet like this weird, your energy also has its limits, I know that, what if Mauren continues like that and your power is up, what's gonna happen to all of us?" Said so.

I tried to give my understanding to Stranger, but even so he still did not allow me to go from there, and I immediately embraced him gently.

"Pelik believe me, I don't go alone I'm with Devano and I'll be fine, you stay here and take care of Angel and Anita, I'll be right back" I assure him.

At last Strange could allow me and I to leave immediately from there to go to Devano's grandfather's residence.

Before it actually came out of the supernatural circle, I instantly made the protective shield transparent and I immediately held Devano's hand.

"Don't until you let go of this grip, I'll protect you" I said looking at him seriously and we nodded at each other.

"Be careful Emely" said Anita looking at me with a glare.

For the first time I threw a smile at someone other than Pelik and my grandmother, and Anita was the third, she was the only first female friend I gave a smile to.

I got out of the circle made by Strange and immediately came out of the house, we walked slowly and continued to check the situation ahead, we were walking around slowly, fortunately it was more peaceful than before and we did not see Mauren around, Devano was relieved that he could walk freely because Mauren was not there.

And he had just barely let go of his grasp from me, but I immediately clasped his hand even stronger, I couldn't make him take his grip off my hand.

"Devano what are you doing, don't try to take your hand off me" I said with a sharp look at him.

He did not look panicked or frightened at all in such a state he could still look so relaxed even teasing me so easily.

"Why? Do you like me until you want to keep holding hands with me?" The reply made me very upset,

"Aishh...if I let go you'd be easily guessed by Mauren, would you be crazy to think so in a situation like this?" I was so upset, though,

"Look at Mauren there is nothing and the chaos in the city is back to how it was" he said, pointing to the street.

I immediately turned my head and saw clearly by my own two eyes where everyone was moving on their own and they were back at their initial activity, everything was like a time replayed and I didn't see Mauren around.

"Huh..a...what....what the hell is this?, Why are they all retreating like that?" I said in astonishment and reflexively released a hand grip on Devano.

"It must be because of my grandfather" Devano said, interrupting.

I felt strange and astonished at him so much that I stared at him in a dick and directly patted his head from behind quite hard.

"The...." My voice that patted the back of Devano's head strongly,

"Aaaw.heh, what are you doing, you're hurting me!" His clasping grimaced in pain while holding his head,

"Based on you brandal, how can your grandfather who does not know where to do magic like repeating time like that, we just want to look for it, right?" I said with a sneer look at him,

"Who said my grandfather didn't know where, there he was I just saw him go into that building, come with me we have to catch him before it's too late" said Devano who suddenly just pulled my hand firmly.

He took me across just as the traffic light had just turned red, he didn't listen to the screams from me in revolt to release his hand grip from my wrist.
