"Ahaha.... You can't underestimate him I've seen his ability, even he healed me and they saved me when I was almost dead" Avan told him,
"CRC... If you underestimate me I can just show it straight away but I don't want to waste energy on people like you" Devano replied as stubbornly,
"Devano stop, don't talk like that!" I yell at him,
The man with the giant creature of his land thought for a moment and stared at us one by one like he was watching something. Not long after, he was lenient with us.
"Well I'm going to free you from my forest of illusion but you have to be able to heal my mother, if you manage to cure her I will give you great rewards" he said, making a deal with us,
"Well I agree" I immediately agreed,
"Emely what are you doing I don't want to do that to a bad guy like him" Devano replied to me,
"Devano you can't judge someone from the outside, if you don't want to do it you can get out of the team and unite with Abaddon and become my enemy" I said loudly to him.
As Devano fell silent and finally gave in, the man asked us to leave and he showed us the way, but before that he smacked his hands against each other until suddenly the land monster behind him just disappeared, then his hands also returned to look normal like my hands and the others.
He began to show us the way to get in front of a very large tree that could even be said to be the largest tree in the forest compared to many other trees which we passed before.
Along the way I continued to notice the man with strange powers, he looked extremely strong and had a monster from the ground that could follow his movements as if controlled by his earth hand, but when he got to the front of the big tree he only knocked on the outside of the tree three times until a door came up from there.
"Wahh... How did that happen?" Said Avan wondering with great astonishment,
"I would have told you this is an illusionary forest all I control so of course anything can happen something of my will" he said as he opened the door to us,
"Let's go in..." Said he's inviting,
Avan went in first and followed with me also Devano at the back and when we went into the tree there it looked so spacious like a luxurious building and neatly arranged there a lot of things floated around like an old teapot bed and some other weird stuff I just saw this time.
"Emely is he really a good person?" Devano said in doubt,
"Devano stop feeling bad like that, he is the master of spiritual power just like us, of course he is a good person" I told him.
He continued to take us into room after room until his hand lifted up and a root appeared from his hand and crept up quickly to tie a bed floating up there until the bed came down and there was an old woman lying neatly on it.
"Aahhhhhhhhhhhh... What's wrong with him why does he look so bad?" I was worried about the old woman.
Her appearance that was so thin was dry as well as her face that was deathly pale, with hair that seemed to fall out from something.
I immediately approached the woman and tried to examine her, the woman was alive but also did not move she was like dead but also alive because she could respond and her eyes were fixed on me.
"Mom, can you see me, are you okay, how do you feel?" Ask him.
She did not answer me but her lips smiled as if responding to me, even the man dressed as a tarjan widened his eyes in shock as he approached his mother.
I immediately told Devano to check on the woman so that she could find out what exactly happened to the old woman and be able to quickly treat her.
"Devano can you come over here, please check on him" I said, asking for Devano's help,
"I don't want to!" Devano said, who was stubborn and did not hear my words before.
I exhaled heavily and immediately approached Devano.
"Devano you don't seem like the person I know if you're like this, do you want to slow down our business here? Do you want to keep getting lost like this? Don't you want to go back to the surface world?" I said to him,
"I don't want to, there's a weird thing that can take you away from me, I'd rather keep getting lost as long as I can keep going with you, I don't need anything else" Devano replied to me very upset when I heard it.
I was eager to beat him with all the strength I had back then but I knew he was a stubborn man and would not have been crushed if I fought him with violence as well, so I tried to take a deep breath and throw it slowly I came back to him who had been away from me I sat next to him which was not far from the place where Avan and the strange man were.
"Devano you know it's not strange just my guardian, I have a mission with him to deliver him to the afterlife and I also still have to find my mother's whereabouts, if I keep getting lost here and letting the world on the surface just crumble, maybe I'll never get to see my mom again, I'll despair and kill myself, you won't be able to treat me or save me either because I will continue to try to kill myself just because of desperation, please Devano don't be stubborn like this" I said as I clasped his hand slowly.
Finally she looked at me and I smiled at her, so she suddenly hugged me tightly and asked me to promise her.
"Emely do you promise not to leave me forever? If you want to promise I'll try to treat that woman" she said, hugging me.
I was already very irritated and it felt like my emotions were about to explode right then and there, but because I think back to the mission that must be lived and the amount of responsibility that I have I must be able to withstand this frustration.
"All right, I promise you, let's save the woman together" I said to him, returning his embrace with a sense of annoyance.
Even the smoke had started to appear from above my head signifying that I was already on the verge of exploding with emotion.
"Devano if you don't move too I'll kill you now!" I mumbled feeling I couldn't take it anymore.
Finally Devano took off his embrace from me and he immediately pulled my hand bringing me closer to the old woman and he immediately examined her in front of me and the others, he was seen constantly feeling some parts of the woman's body ranging from the eel, neck of the hands and feet and part of her chest until Devano looked at me and nodded.
"Hows it? Did you know of his illness?" I asked Devano, though,
"Yes I know, but Emely seems like she has lost a lot of energy and has no desire to live so it's useless if I treat her to heal she will still be like this because her life's desire is almost gone" devano explained to all of us,
"Then how should we make it to have the desire to stay alive?" I asked to think,
"Maybe you know better about it because she is your mother" Devano replied as he looked at the man.
The man looked instantly bowed lethargic and he had absolutely no rudeness and crudeness like before, he looked weak and so alarming when looking at his own mother's state like that.
Even when Devano asked him he couldn't answer anything and I decided to have him think about it first and we made room for the child and the mother.
