Chapter 21

Liu Shan's defiant presence and speech behind Lian Ping caused his anger to reach the highest point. The accumulated anger made his body move on its own.

Lian Ping darted towards Liu Shan with his tightly clenched hand as if wanting to smash into his face.

YUSHH!!

Lian Ping's Ki energy began to radiate out from all over his body. In short, all of Ki's energy was concentrated into his right arm which was firmly clenched and swung to smash Liu Shan in the face.

“Death to you!”

With a fist pointed at him, Liu Shan was able to see through Lian Ping's entire movement easily. Although Lian Ping did not know, but the levels of the two of them were two stars away and Liu Shan was the higher one.

Without expending much effort, Liu Shan simply put his head aside and dodged the blow.

The powerful jolt of Ki's accumulated energy was blown backwards and the audience that was there. Lian Ping's eyes and the audience inside the arena opened wide. His mouth that could not be closed and could not utter a word when he saw Liu Shan dodging his attack.

“A-what?!” muttered Lian Ping.

Without a hint of a scar on his face, Liu Shan put on an arrogant look as if looking down on Lian Ping who could not hit him.

“Soever?”

Lian Ping's forehead shriveled even more and more and his anger began to soar high like a mountain of merapi. He clenched his left hand and swung an advanced fist towards Liu Shan.

“Don't be arrogant!”

The punch was pointing straight at his face again. And with ease, Liu Shan lowered his body parts and jumped backwards. From that move, he dodged Lian Ping's punch and simultaneously struck his chin with the tip of a foot.

The double!

“Agh!” erang Lian Ping's.

His chin that was hit by the attack also made his jaw in pain to bleed from his mouth. Lian Ping who was holding onto the part of her mouth also saw a blood patch stuck to her palm.

His hands began to tremble as if in disbelief. He looked forward with both eyes widened and full of hate gazing at Liu Shan who had just landed.

“You ... did you kick my face?!”

Liu Shan stood up straight and spoke with a look on his face that was so relaxed as if there was no problem at all.

“Of course. What's up, you don't like it?”

Back to using challenging words. Liu Shan understood Lian Ping's extremely arrogant nature, therefore it would be easier for him to provoke her. With one arm resting behind and another forward, Liu Shan used his four fingers back and forth as if challenging Lian Ping to come forward again against him.

“If you don't like it, then try harder.”

Lian Ping's patience limit was drained because of Liu Shan's words and demeanor that greatly demeaned him. He who had been fed up also expended all of Ki's energy around his body.

The ground he was on began to crack slightly and shake, as Ki Lian Ping's energy increased drastically.

“I've decided!”

Liu Shan who was still staring at Lian Ping did not look surprised and did not even tremble at all. And when Lian Ping raised his gaze, the fury from the humiliation he had received from Liu Shan was able to be strongly implied from the look in his eyes. It was not an angry look anymore, but rather a gaze to kill.

“I'll make you crumble until you can't cultivate. Back to being a useless young master who is always despised by the city residents!”

Lian Ping's words sounded very earnest. He uttered it as if he was going to do it and there was nothing Liu Shan could do when he put all of his abilities into action.

The loud blow rang to make one arena hear it. The eyes of everyone in the arena were wide open and there were even some of them standing from their seats, and that included Lian Ping's parents sitting on the throne.

On Lian Ping's own side, the one who was hit by the hard blow was not aware of what had happened. All he knew was that his gaze had become blurred and he was spewing out his own saliva incessantly.

“Uaghh!!”

He muttered in his own mind about what happened. His eyes did not catch anything, all he knew was that his body was hit by such a powerful attack. Lian Ping fell on both knees and held her stomach in pain.

And when his eyes began to clear again, Lian Ping looked at the legs of someone standing in front of him. It wasn't long for him to realize. Lian Ping tried to raise her face to confirm her thoughts, she looked at Liu Shan who was standing right in front of her.

“You-!”

Lian Ping was still shocked and inexhaustible as to how he could be oblivious to Liu Shan's attack. And on the other hand, Liu Shan himself looked down at him while replying to Lian Ping earlier.

“That day will never come. There is only your defeat, here!”

Unfinished from the previous blow, Liu Shan kicked Lian Ping in the face with all his might. The hard blow was merciless, and it was evident from how strongly Lian Ping was blown backwards.

Lian Ping crashed far back until he hit the arena audience, and reached the throne his parents were sitting.

Lian Haochun along with his wife Lian Piao immediately approached his battered son just from two attacks belonging to Liu Shan.

“Lian ping, Lian Ping!” Lian Piao shouted worried for her son in her arms

On the other hand, the half-conscious Lian Ping was still trying to endure the pain that had spread all over her body.

“Urrghh” erang Lian Ping while trying to get up on his feet again

While his father, Lian Haochun was not as good as his wife. He suddenly forced Lian Ping to stand up, despite his severe injuries.

“Stand!” grouse Lian Haochun

“Urgh ... dad-!” murmur Lian Ping

Regardless of the condition of his son, Lian Haochun only cared about the reputation of the Lian family that was humiliated amidst the eyes and ears of the Feng city residents.

He drew closer to Lian Ping ears and whispered in her ear.

“Kill him. Don't embarrass the family name. If not, then you alone will suffer the consequences!”

Lian Ping who heard his father's threat immediately shrieked with widened eyes filled with fear. And in his mind, he thought of nothing but to bring about Liu Shan's death for his father.

On the other hand, the spectators inside the arena whispered to each other against Liu Shan's ability to repel Lian Ping.

“A-what are my eyes not seeing wrong?”

“He really is Liu Shan isn't he? That useless young master?”

“After returning at the strength exhibition event, now he comes and can beat back the young master of the Lian family easily!”

“He is not a useless Liu Shan anymore!”

The views of everyone within the arena changed drastically towards Liu Shan. From someone who was despised, now come back and get his own respect from the townspeople who once humbled him.
