After saving Xiao Lin, Liu Shan took some time to rest while guarding him. Xiao Lin, who had tried hard before in the face of the three enemies, fell asleep under the tree.

With the recovery pills he had obtained from the system, as well as his expertise as an alchemist in the medical field, Liu Shan had treated Xiao Lin's wounds and stamina as well in order to recover as quickly as possible.

On the other hand, Liu Shan stood alone behind the tree that Xiao Lin was standing on. Liu Shan opened his hand and revealed a field of transparent area which was flowed by his Ki energy.

Liu Shan squinted his eyes and noticed that a wide variety of different-colored Ki energies were dancing on his palm.

“Three people... four people.. about seventeen people are within a 10 meter radius of this forest”.

Ki's energy flow was not just any way it was released by him. Liu Shan used his Ki energy to scatter into the surrounding area and sensed every movement of many people from his Ki energy that had fused with the air.

This way, Liu Shan could inspect the surroundings and devise a plan if there was a group of people running towards him and Xiao Lin.

“For now it seems like they are busy surviving on their own. However ...”

When Liu Shan was watching the flow of Ki energy, there was an energy that felt so heavy and also full of tremendous pressure. Every time he tried to get close to the flow of Ki, his body was always pushed back as if forced to retreat.

Liu Shan's face was tense and even his eyes were wide open as if he was inexhaustible.

“A-what is it?! The energy felt very big. Different from many things I've ever felt. Could it be that it was a high-level mystical creature?”

Liu Shan considered that Ki's energy came from mystical beings who had a mythical level or higher. However, he did not have enough information to conclude such a matter.

Xiao Lin turned his head left and right looking at the surroundings. Until the moment he looked back, there he saw Liu Shan who was still focused in the opposite direction and put his back on him.

The sound of the rubbing grass made Liu Shan startled and looked back. There he saw Xiao Lin who had woken up and immediately obliterated his Ki monitoring energy.

“Ah, Miss Xiao Lin. Turns out you've woken up”

At first, Xiao Lin's gaze that was still glared at him as he had just woken up was trying to stare towards Liu Shan. And when his eyes were clearly opened, his mind immediately made him recall the feeling of love that Xiao Lin had just realized before he fell asleep.

His heart was pounding again and his face became as flushed with embarrassment as a tomato. He turned his gaze around and hid right behind that huge tree.

“(Ah!! Again and again, I threw my face away from her! What will he think of when I do this continuously?! But, I can't look directly into his eyes!)” inner Xiao Lin

Unlike Xiao Lin who was at the wrong level with every single thing he did, Liu Shan remained normal and even walked to Xiao Lin's side. He stood up and squatted down to stare equally at her.

“Hey, miss Xiao Lin.”

“I-iya?!”

“This mystical training is still going on, we can't keep quiet here and hope to win”

When Liu Shan said that, Xiao Lin's commitment in training and becoming stronger instantly flinched and he seemed to be regained consciousness.

Hearing Xiao Lin continue to call him with the word ‘tuan’ made Liu Shan interrupted slowly.

Liu Shan immediately opened his eyes wide and scratched the back of his head. He smiled faintly and raised one palm of his hand to apologize to Xiao Lin.

Turn around like a double-edged sword. Xiao Lin who felt uneasy because Liu Shan called him so formally, had asked him to call with a closer call.

And when he heard his new call, Xiao Lin's countenance became much more merried than when he said Liu Shan's name. His red face was covered with hair falling forward and his face lowered down.

On the other hand, Liu Shan who saw the reaction from Xiao Lin directly felt astonished that there was no response.

Liu Shan was intending to call out and also ask towards his condition. He had thought that Xiao Lin's injuries had not healed completely and had recurred in the midst of it.

But, it was just that suddenly Xiao Lin raised his face that was so red and scolded Liu Shan.
