After the situation became normal, Liu Shan looked like he was exhausted from responding to Qing Yao's aggressive attitude as well as her two younger siblings.
On the other hand, Qing Yao looked so calm as she drank her tea. Mingming was still acting the same with sparkling eyes as if he could not wait to have a soft-haired new friend. While Liu Siyue was still pouting with both hands folded in front of her chest.
Liu Shan who was in the middle of the awkward situation also tried to open the conversation first.
“U-um... Miss Qing Yao?” call Liu Shan.
“Hm? What's up?” said Qing Yao as she placed the cup.
“Related with special permission to Shenmi forest. You said that we who go in there can make them our friends. What is included as a contract?” ask Liu Shan
“Of course. If you have the ability, then those who are allowed to enter the Shenmi forest have the right to make a contract with the mystical animals that are there” Qing Yao replied.
Liu Shan who heard the answer lowered his head and thought. If he could make a contract with a high-level mystical beast, then of course his abilities would skyrocket high.
When he thought about it, Qing Yao suddenly resumed her words.
“But, you should know one thing.”
His words made all eyes turn towards him. Especially Liu Shan who was thinking of being heard something like a condition that would come out of Qing Yao's mouth.
“If you fail, no one will save you if the mystical animal goes berserk.”
Qing Yao's eyes turned cold and sharp as if not toying with her words back then. How not? It has to do with life as well as mystical animals. No one knew how powerful they were before seeing it, and even a mystical beast of a level like Haishe in Sheng's debt alone could crush Feng city with ease.
What if there was a mystical beast of a higher level?
The level of danger and risk taken to make the contract will be even greater.
Liu Shan who thought about it also felt reasonable. In that cultivation world, those who are strong will survive. If they were weak, then they would either die or become the insulting material like he used to be when his meridians froze.
Shortly after, Qing Yao who had finished her tea put it on the table. He stood up slowly from his sitting position.
“Alright, I think I've been here too long. I still have a lot of work in academy” Qing Yao said.
Liu Shan along with his two younger siblings immediately stood up to escort Qing Yao home.
“Thank you, Miss Qing Yao. Already bothered coming here!” liu Shan said while looking down respectfully.
“Sama-sama. You guys don't stop practicing. I will wait for you another month in the Liliang” academy Qing Yao said.
“Good!” sahut Liu Shan, Liu Siyue and Mingming.
Instead of turning around, Qing Yao instead walked forward approaching towards Liu Shan who was still bowing.
“Ah, I almost forgot ...”
His voice made Liu Shan raise his body and head. And when he looked forward, Qing Yao's tapering index finger was already right around his neck and shifted up to his chin.
His face slowly drew closer and put on a seductive smile right in front of him.
“You called me as if we weren't close. Call me, Yao is enough,” Qing Yao said as she blinked one eye.
Liu Shan as a man was certainly not strong enough to resist the beauty and also the seductive nature of Qing Yao. But, he tried his hardest and turned his face red in shame.
“Ba-fine! I understand, Brother Yao!” sahut Liu Shan's.
Liu Siyue's two eyes that saw it instantly widened and also her mouth opened firmly as if in disbelief. His face reddened in embarrassment with a feeling of annoyance because of Qing Yao's attitude that just kept teasing Liu Shan.
On the other hand, Qing Yao took her finger off Liu Shan's chin and walked back to the exit.
“Then, excuse me, ” said Qing Yao.
Qing Yao walked out by leaving an overwhelming impression among the three of them. Especially Liu Shan who had repeatedly gotten the temptation of someone so beautiful and also great like Qing Yao, of course she was speechless.
Liu Shan simply stroked the chin that was previously stroked by Qing Yao's index finger as if in disbelief. Liu Siyue who saw Liu Shan stroke his chin became even more annoyed. Suddenly only….
“Basic sister bawdy!” grumbled Liu Siyue while throwing a face
The words entered into his ears and made Liu Shan shocked. He turned to his sister and saw her who was throwing her face away and walking away leaving her just like that.
“Hah? Wait, Liu Siyue! What's wrong sister?!” asked Liu Shan who was astonished.
However, Liu Siyue then left him. Not the slightest bit of pulling his gaze back to back as if completely angry at him.
“What's with the kid?” murmured Liu Shan while scratching the back of his head.
When Liu Shan was confused, suddenly Mingming said goodbye to him.
“Ah yes sis, I want to see mom first. Yesterday mom said that there was a dress that was being measured for me” explained Mingming.
“Eh, Ah …. Alright ...” Liu Shan said.
And just like that, Liu Shan in staying alone again. He who was still in the middle of the living room stood up and turned his head left and right without anyone passing by. Not even his servant.
“Haah .. I think I went back to the room for practice only ...” muttered Liu Shan.
However, just as he wanted to turn around, all of a sudden his footsteps came to a halt and his eyes widened as if recalling something.
“Wait! I just remembered there's something to take care of as well.”
Liu Shan did not turn around and he walked out of his house alone. Without anyone knowing, Liu Shan went to Sheng forest again.

The dense forest was full of green trees and the animals were roaming freely in peace and tranquility. Liu Shan who looked at the forest looking full of life had unconsciously become a faint smile as if a calm and happy feeling was flowing within it.
Shortly after, after a few minutes of tracing into the forest, Liu Shan finally reached his destination. A lake that was so vast and looked the same as the last time it came. The lake where he picked up the green lotus flower and also met Haishe.
“Finally arrived ...”
