CHAPTER 21

Running time is a week. Today Shani just returned to the city. During the week he was busy taking care of Rumi. But thankfully Rumi quickly improved. It took him only 5 days to get out of the room, and the remaining 1 day Shani did to indulge with his aunt at home.

Shani's heart was struck by lightning. Darren's getting married? With who?

"Sha?" call Jia resuscitated Shani who looked stunned.

"Yes?"

"Lo why?"

"No pa-pa, really." Shani smiled at Jia.

Suddenly silent atmosphere. Jia and Andra throw confused gazes at each other due to Shani's agitated movements. Shani's mind wandered far away.

With a map containing documents that Darren must sign, Shani slowly knocks on the door of the CEO's room. In addition to intending to provide the document, Shani's main goal is to want to talk to Darren in person. Let's just say he is currently in a state of shamelessness.

Shani also shuffled to sit on the front seat of Darren's desk after his boss invited him to sit by pointing at the chair using his chin.

"Others we need to talk about? Isn't everything done?" Darren.

Shani silently nailed her eyes to look at Darren. "Do you want to get married?" ask after a few seconds. It is very shameless to say that, but Shani also needs certainty.

Darren chuckled nonchalantly. "What care are you?"

Shani lowered her gaze. He smiled wryly. "You really are." Shani looked back at Darren. "What do you care if you really want to get married? I don't care at all."

Shani tried to strengthen her fragile heart. Darren would have completely abandoned him. The man no longer cared about his current situation.

Darren looks into Shani's eyes. Darren knows the girl's lying. His eyes gave off a look of disappointment and sadness. Darren doesn't want to leave Shani either. But if the girl dares to be honest and holds him back from continuing to be together, Darren vows to embrace him now, hold him tight, and will choose to live with him, forever.

"Are you sure?" ask Darren to make sure. "Can you live without me?"

"Do I really not have to be responsible?" Darren stared at Shani's stomach suddenly followed by the movement of the girl who was hugging her own stomach.

"You don't have to take responsibility" Shani said with great difficulty.

"good. I am grateful I did not pregnant you. At least I'm spared from marrying a cheap woman." Actually Darren doesn't have to say that, but his mouth seems to want to berate Shani.

Shani blinked once closing her eyes for a few seconds, and a drop of tears came out from there. Trying to be strong right now is the craziest thing Shani has ever done. His feelings are very touched by Darren's words to him.

Darren stood up. "Aargh!!!" he shouted while slamming the chair he had been sitting on. he was very frustrated. Darren leaned his back against the wall while gazing at the temple. Shani's last expression that Darren captured, the girl frowned holding back her tears.
