CHAPTER 12

Shani has just arrived at the Argantara Group. la page just got off an ojol. Shani walked slowly to the office entrance.

"Morning, Shani," said Malvin who suddenly appeared from behind Shani.

"Malvin's? You're here?" Shani and Malvin started chatting in the front yard of the office.

"Yes. I'm gonna see Darren for a second." Malvin smiled.

Shani responded with the same smile.

"Oh, yes. By the way, where were you taking Darren last night? He's okay with you, right?" malvin's asking makes Shani a little clumsy.

"No, really. Darren was just anterin last night when I came home. My clothes are wet too all the things." Answer Shani.

Malvin nodded.

"Emmm. That's when we go in, yuk," Shani asks Malvin.

Malvin smiled, then he and Shani walked together towards the leader's room.

Shani knocks briefly on Darren's door, then he enters and is followed by Malvin. Darren who initially smiled cheerfully at the arrival of Shani immediately raised an expression when he found Malvin coming into his room. Malvin was without a sense of hesitation directly sitting leaning back to the sofa of the room.

"Did you come here?" darren asks Malvin. la still in the CEO's seat, and Shani begins to organize the files on her desk.

"Yes met with your officer, lah. I miss you too." Malvin grinned at Darren.

Inner Shani was a little confused. Which officer misses Malvin? What is Jia? Last night Shani had a chat with Jia via whatsapp. Jia said she and Malvin had danced together at Wirawan and Fiona's wedding anniversary party last night.

"You have nothing important to do, don't come here. There you go home," tell Darren to his cousin.

Malvin raises his shoulders. He walked over to Shani. "Shani, I'll wait at this cafe later in the day, yes. You can take Jia with Andra. I'll buy you lunch later" Malvin smiled at Shani. He did not wait for Shani to respond and immediately left the room.

"Why are you?" tanya Darren realizes Shani's daydreams of Malvin.

"Eh, no, sir."

Darren moves closer to Shani. He hugged the girl from behind, then inhaled a fragrant scent from the right side of her neck. "You forgot we were dating? Why formal call me. Relax, Shani. It's just us in this room" whispered Darren to make Shani a little amused.

Shani inched off Darren's embrace. "But this is the office. I don't want any of the other employees who see me continue to misunderstand." Shani moves away from Darren. la walks with a stack of folders to the sofa, then starts tidying up and checking.

Darren is getting anxious with Shani's bashful behavior of the cat. He could not stop flirting with his girlfriend. Darren approached Shani and continued to look at her with a meaningful smile.

Shani and Darren have just stepped out of the Argantara Group meeting room. They just finished a meeting with some business relations. It just so happened that the afternoon break had already started, so Shani could relax her mind after managing Darren for almost half a day.

"Let's go out for lunch" Darren tells Shani. The two of them walked towards the CEO's room to return some files there.

"But Malvin was sure we had lunch together, right? He must've been waiting at this Cafe."

"What is he doing to me? He said it was just you, Jia, and Andra. My name is not called the same."

"Yes, you are his cousin. Go straight for it."

Darren threw a sharp glare at Shani. Those who had walked small together began to stop. "You look like you're really going to have lunch with Malvin. You want to meet him, huh? A miss? Or kangen?" accuse Darren of his girlfriend.

"No, really. I just don't feel good about Malvin." Shani replied.

Darren turned his face, then looked at Shani again. "You go to the room first. I'm going to the pantry for a second" Darren told Shani.

"Yes." Yeah." Shani said, then walked towards the CEO's room.

About 5 minutes later, Darren finally found Jia chatting with a receptionist at the guest table of the main lobby. Darren approached the girl. "Jia, you're waiting for Malvin at this Cafe right now. He's already there, so you're on the hunt to leave," Darren's words left Jia's mind a little confused.

"Yes, sir." But because Darren is the boss, Jia finally complies.

Darren rushes back to his room to meet Shani. While Jia with a flowery feeling quickly headed to This Cafe to meet Malvin. Jia's sense of confidence instantly soared, he thought Malvin was starting to have a taste with him.

Darren takes Shani to a restaurant. He rents a privacy room for her and Shani spends her lunch time. Darren doesn't want his time with Shani to be interrupted by anyone.

"I really miss Bi Rumi. If there's time I want to go home to my aunt's village." Shani smiled wryly.

Darren just listened to Shani's poignant story. Shani reveals to Darren that her mother and father had died when she was very young, and to date she has been adopted as her mother's older daughter. Darren feels sorry for Shani, but he thinks the girl is strong enough with all her trials.

"Why doesn't your aunt stay here with you? You're home alone, too" Darren suggested to Shani.

"I've been trying to tell Auntie that, but her aunt won't. Aunty could not leave her husband's house. Auntie said there are a lot of memories. I can't force my aunt either." Shani.

Darren who was sitting next to Shani immediately hugged the girl to provide comfort. Shani likes Darren like this. Darren is gentle and makes her feel safe.

Shani takes off Darren's embrace. He smiled at the man. "By the way, how's Malvin? He's still waiting at this Cafe, isn't he?" Shani curious.

Darren was again busy with his lunch. He devoured a mouthful of rice, then looked back at Shani. "Maybe he was alone with Jia, Darren tweeted to Shani.

Shani keeps scooping the vanilla ice cream and devours it. Today Shani only eats a little rice, he prefers to order some kind of dessert. "Malvin likes Jia?" shani asked Darren.

Darren raised his shoulders. "It looks like it is." The answer is origin make Shani nod.

Darren keeps watching Shani eating ice cream. Shani occasionally licks her lips making Darren swallow the saliva. "Nake?" ask Darren to Shani.

"Want to?" Shani thrusts a spoonful of vanilla ice cream at Darren.

Darren looks at Shani for a few seconds, then he starts grabbing Shani's nape and kissing her lips. Darren tasted the vanilla taste left in Shani's mouth. Darren is deepening his pagutan.

Shani is still surprised by Darren's sudden kiss, but slowly he starts to close his eyes enjoying every performance Darren gives. Darren continued to stumble at Shani. la's mouth, sipping and clenching the girl's lips.

After Darren senses that Shani is running out of breath, he quits his kiss. Darren gently rubbed both cheeks Shani. la leaned Shani's forehead against her forehead until the noses of the two touched each other.

Jia looked at the corner of the room at This Cafe, then someone seemed to be waving at him. It was Malvin. Jia immediately approached the man.

"Good day, Mr. Malvin," said Jia smiling.

"Yong, Jia. Sit down, please" tell Malvin to Jia.

"Where is Shani with Andra?" malvin's question suddenly confused Jia.

"Shani with Andra?" Jia frowning.

"lyas. They haven't arrived yet?" malvin asked again increasingly made Jia not understand.

"I came here myself, sir. Wouldn't Mr Malvin want to see me? Mr. Darren said Mr. Malvin was waiting for me at this Cafe. That's why I came here" Jia told Malvin.

Inner Malvin cursed Darren all-out. Darren could have cheated him. From now on Malvin will have to move more deftly to get closer to Shani.

And in the end Malvin was just having lunch with Jia. Jia felt that something was stirring right now. Jia does not know if Darren has deceived and used him to prank Malvin.
