ENFOLDMENT
CHAPTER 8

Shani and Darren arrive at a pick-up shop on the side of a highway. They ordered the same menu, namely fried chicken tomato sauce and each glass of iced tea. Darren's whole life, this was the first time he tried to eat at such a tent stall.

"Do you often eat at kayak gini?" ask Darren to Shani. Two people were waiting for the dish to be ready.

"Not really, sir. Just sometimes if you want to." Shani smiles.

Darren pursed the lips of a mangosteen. And not long after their treat arrived. Shani and Darren start to enjoy dinner.

Every now and then Shani steals a glance watching Darren eat a whole fried chicken with his hands. That guy looks pretty bad. "Yes, sir?" shani asked smilingly at Darren.

"I'm just hungry" Darren said, admitting that Shani's favorite food is actually delicious.

Shani and Darren go back to eating. After finishing and feeling full, Darren went to pay. la was a little surprised because the total price of all the food he and Shani ate was not up to 100 thousand.

"Shani," called Darren as he continued to drive his car to Shani's residence to drive the girl home.

"Yes, Sir?" Shani looked widened her eyes at Darren.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" ask Darren confidently.

Shani. "Yet. What's the matter, sir?"

"No pa-pa, I'm just nanya."

Shani was silent for a moment. "If you have a boyfriend yet?" ask her back to Darren.

"Why ask? You want to be my girlfriend?" sahut Darren casually turned Shani's face at a glance.

Dada Shani swishing. "No, sir." The answer is wrong. Inner Shani sulked because Darren had just asked her if she had a boyfriend or not, but after he asked back instead accused of being a non-no. Shani felt his talk went awry.

Not long after, Shani and Darren arrive on the street in front of Shani's house.

"I'll excuse you, sir. Thank you for the deal tonight." Shani smiled at Darren.

"Shani," Darren calls to stop Shani from opening the car door.

Shani turns to Darren, and suddenly the man grabs his nape. Without a second thought Darren pressed his lips against Shani's. Shani glared at the eyes feeling the nerves in her body as if they were spontaneously stiffening.

After his consciousness gathered enough, Shani immediately pushed Darren's body away from him. Is it true that his boss-to-be just kissed him?

"It looks like I like you" Darren said, making Shani appear more dazed. Darren stroked the girl's left cheek. His face with Shani was still very close.

Shani looks away unwillingly to look into Darren's sparkling eyes as if teasing him. "Sorry sir, I think I'm misunderstanding." Shani shuffles to open the car door again, but Darren holds his hand.

Shane started to feel scared. Suddenly he remembered Andra's story about Darren. Is Darren really gonna mess with her?

"I said I like you. Why do you misunderstand?" firmly Darren looked at Shani.

Shani lowered her head not daring to look at Darren's eyes. "Sir Darren must have lied to me. How could Mr. Darren like people like me. Excuse me, sir." Shani nimbly breaks away from Darren's bullying.

Shani comes out of the black sedan and walks quickly into her house. He immediately closed the door and leaned back there as he closed his eyes scrunched his forehead. Shani stroked her chest that felt clashing inside.

It has been a day since Darren expressed his feelings for Shani. Darren kept the girl's mind. He remembered the thin touch between his lips with Shani's soft lips. It turns out that making Shani fall into his arms is not an easy thing. But Darren will not give up and will continue to approach the girl.

Darren just came out of the room down the stairs. Papa and his mother were watching TV together on the sofa in the living room. Darren memicing noticed a news broadcast that was being tuned by his parents.

"Zui?" darren's chirps made papa and her mother look at her.

Monday has arrived. As usual, Shani went to the office with an online motorcycle taxi. Today he was very nervous.

"Over the week you've been swapping tasks with Andra. I've asked Andra to take care of your responsibilities in the secretariat. And you, starting the next 1 week should stand by here."

"You're here with me" Darren told Shani.

Shani is still in the room with Darren. Darren tells Shani to check some important data on his laptop. The two of them sat on a soft sofa facing each other but were blocked by a glass table.

"You will come with me to the boutique" Darren told Shani.

"To the boutique? For what, sir?" Shane asked.

"Two days away is my parents' wedding anniversary. I want to buy something for them" Darren explained.

Shani nodded. Maybe Darren will buy a dress for his mother or an expensive suit for his papa. Shani thinks Darren's a caring kid.
