CHAPTER 13

"Two weeks away you should be ready to lead the company completely. Papa will entrust control of Argantara Group to you" Wirawan told Darren.

Today is Sunday night, the Argantara family is having dinner together at the dinner table.

"Darren, Mama is sure you can be a great CEO. Isn't that right, Pa?" Fiona smiled cheering on her son.

Wirawan who was asked for certainty by his wife just threw a wry smile. Actually Wirawan is not too sure if Darren can replace his position as CEO of Argantara Group. But Wirawan also does not want to buy time, he will be calmer if Darren there is busy working.

Darren just kept quiet listening to the ravings of his parents. He continued to enjoy dinner which actually made him not tasteful enough. Darren is always lazy if papa and his mother talk too much and advise him constantly.

"Oh, yes. By the way, Papa got to know Papa's daughter to Darren, right?" fiona asked Wirawan to make Darren stop chewing.

Wirawan raised an eyebrow to his wife the answer sign yes. "After the inauguration, Papa will get to know you to Papa's daughter. Who knows, she'll fit in as your wife" Wirawan told Darren.

Darren put his fork and spoon to the dining table with a bang hard enough. He made papa and his mother tiptoed in surprise. "Stop messing with my life! I'm not a kid!" darren stared hard at his papa.

Darren then left his dinner which still left a lot.he headed to the room to pick up his wallet and car keys. Darren is so fed up with all his authoritarian parenting rules. And what is it? Is his dad going to set him up with another girl?

Wirawan and Fiona continued to eat dinner alone. They seemed to have gotten used to Darren suddenly leaving the moment to eat with the family because of sensitive chatter. Wirawan and Fiona are sometimes also tired of dealing with Darren's behavior that is like that, unruly and irritable.

"Are we being too outrageous with Darren, Pa? Mama also felt that since childhood Darren always we setirin. He rarely confessed what he wanted, maybe because that Darren was so against us" Fiona told Wirawan.

"What the hell, Ma?" wirawan asked with a raucous voice starting to blink his eyes.

"Darren is not in the room. Mama peeps in her car garage is also not there. Where the hell did he make parents worry."

"Maybe Darren is in the apartment, Ma. We slept again. Papa is so sleepy."

"Rapaaaa!" fiona exclaimed at Wirawan who was even inching to sleep again. "You're looking for Darren! He's our only son. What about Darren?"

Wirawan clicked, then got up from the bed. "It's Mama's sleeping, let Papa take care of Darren." He hurried out of the room to leave his wife. Wirawan started calling Darren's number, but his son didn't pick up his phone. Darren did deliberately leave HP on his bedroom nightstand.

Wirawan immediately contacted his men to check the apartment. But what he got was Darren wasn't there. Wirawan ordered his men again to look for Darren until he met.

Half an hour later Wirawan again got a report from his personal person. Darren's location has been found. Her son is now in a bar on the outskirts of town.

Wirawan quickly told his men to bring Darren home. A few minutes later Wirawan's men arrived at his residence. Wirawan rushed to open the door.

"Where's Darren?" wirawan asked the two men who arrived but without bringing back his son.

"Sorry sir, Mr. Darren insisted he would not be invited home. He's against us. Some of the men were beaten up by Mr. Darren" one of the men explained.

"A brash child," murmured Wirawan to call his own son.

"Sir Darren had a chance to talk if he wanted to go home as long as the girl named Shani picked him up."

"Shani?" Wirawan.

"Yes, sir."

"Yes, you can go. I'll take care of Darren myself."

"Good, sir."

Two of Wirawan's men have left. Wirawan rushed to close the door again.he quickly called Shani.

On the other hand, Shani along with Jia and Andra were doing a small camp in the yard next to Jia's house which was quite spacious. Not only the three of them, it turns out that Malvin also joined. The four were burning corn with a bonfire.

This afternoon at a chat grub consisting of Shani, Jia, and Andra was chatting about the agenda for Sunday night.

"Where did Mr Darren go, sir?"

"He's at a bar in the suburbs. Please persuade him to come home."

"I don't want to know. Your job still happens. How can you make my son like this? You promised me that Darren wouldn't do weird things. Anyway you have to clean this up."

"Bright, sir."

"I'll share Darren's location with you. Just a minute."

"Yes sir, I'm waiting."

The phone is turned off by Wirawan, and Shani begins to worry about Darren. Why is his girlfriend playing at the bar again? Shani doesn't like it if Darren gets drunk or even has fun with the other girl behind him.

"But Mr. Wirawan himself commands me, Ji. I'm gonna go get Darren." Shani rushed to get her bag inside the tent.

"Yes, yeah." Shani could not hide her fear. It's true that Shani doesn't dare to go alone to the bar and look for Darren. Thankfully there was Malvin.

Shani and Malvin take a break from Jia and Andra. Malvin is piggybacking on Shani with his motorcycle. The two of them immediately left the camping place and headed to the location that Wirawan had shared with Shani.
