Chapter 38 - The Strange Old Man

This power rumbled, surpassing any power that a Spirit Resurrection realm expert should possess. Jia Lin's body healed at an unimaginable speed and now, he had already recovered 80% and his strength was still increasing dramatically.

"You're dead" at this moment, a voice sounded as an old man slowly floated downwards. This old man made the air spin and it was as if there was space being torn apart.

"Hmm who are you" Jia Lin looked at this old man and a sense of deadly crisis filled his mind.

"I'm your maker" the old man raised his hand and the power of space trembled. A long sword stretched through the void, attacking with blinding speed towards Jia Lin.

"Damn, not good, not good" Jia Lin retreated. "Apollo, full power"

The image of Apollo slowly disappeared as he entered into the body of his sword.

Jia Lin held the sword in his right hand, the ruins of the Dao laws fell from the sky and stuck to the sword. Sharp light shot out from the tip of the sword, Jia Lin slashed the sword that was heading towards him.

"The Heaven's Star Attack. Void Sword"

The void shook, the wild lights flashed and two sharp lights collided. Jia Lin was sent flying backwards, the power of space locking him up.

"Who is this person" Jia Lin waved his hand and the Hell-Absorbing Demon Martial Spirit surged.

The Hell Absorbing Devil Field Martial Spirit opened his demons and howled. For two hundred meters, red lights fell from the sky, covering everything. The Profound Qi was devoured crazily, the earth was dug up and everything within a distance of two hundred meters was being devoured and absorbed.

As Jia Lin saw this, his eyes widened. He had lived for many years and he knew exactly what was happening and what was going to happen.

"Space power," Jia Lin said in surprise.

The purple golden light lit up and the space diminished under Jia Lin's feet. He opened his mouth and sucked in the magic circle, and his twelve candles turned into a black and blue mist and sucked directly into him. Not only that, Little Devil sank back into his summoning circle, his blood-red eyes staring at the old man with space laws and a brutal gaze flashed across his eyes.

From all angles, Demonic beasts invaded the old man, but before they could even think of approaching him, their bodies were torn apart by space cracks. Blood was splashing everywhere.

"You can't escape me" the old man put his hands together and the power of space formed a seal in the air.

This seal made the air rotate frantically and cracking sounds echoed. In front of Jia Lin's eyes, he saw white lines winding and forming many sharp patterns that split space. These lines formed the laws of outer space and with Tensugan, he could see the laws working.

"I'm right. It's the laws of outer space, this man is abnormal" Jia Lin turned around, the wind blew and he shot east with everything he got.

"Can you run faster than him?" ask Apollo.

"I'm not sure" around Jia Lin's body, the power of thunder boomed and his speed reached the limit. "On the road where the Dark Abyss is," Jia Lin asked in a hasty voice.

"256 miles southeast" Apollo replied after sensing energy fluctuations in the air.

"OK understand" Jia Lin's face was very serious. He knew that this old man was inseparable from the four major powers, or else he would not attack him like that.

Not to mention his law of passage, he was pretty sure that no one from the four powers had mastered the law to that degree. So this guy is not with them!

"Just who is he?" Jia Lin's hair was blown by the wind, within his meridians, the power of thunder boomed and his bones trembled with the strength of the Jade clan.

The "Death" Heavenly Sword was cut towards the old man after seeing that he wanted to take Jia Lin's life.

A dazzling light filled the air, its aura sharp and savage. But even as his sword cut towards the old man, the old man did not even look at him. With a wave of his hand, a door opened in front of Sky Sword. Immortal Qi burst out of this door like a bomb, sweeping across Sky Sword and sending it flying with a bloom coming out of its mount.

"The sky" Z Sword shouted. The sword in his hand danced and he moved like lightning.

A terrifying strength exploded from the sword in a shocking sword light. All the clouds were swept away by this sword attack, the air cracked under the pressure and howled.

"This enough" the old man raised his sword into the air. Around his sword, the air began to rotate as all the light was sucked into the sword. "Space Blade" the old man casually slashed out with his sword.

Bang

The power of space twisted the light of the Z Sword sword and more than half were destroyed. But the remaining sword light hit the old man's sword, pushing him back a hundred meters.

"Hm. This sword is strong" the old man looked at the sword in Z Sword's hand and a strange light shone in his eyes.

"I'll come back for you later" the old man chuckled and turned around. Space diminished as his feet stepped through the void. The void trembled and the man disappeared, chasing after Jia Lin.
