Chapter 65 - The Bottomless Hole

The inside of the Dark Abyss was extremely silent, one of them, there was no light or sound whatsoever. This type of feeling made Jia Lin feel somewhat moody, after all, a hundred years inside the dark land whose death was happening around every corner was not something amusing or pleasant.

In these 100 years, he had to find some things to keep his mind and busying himself, he could not endlessly pour his heart into cultivation. It would only generate more power but no experience, he would be like a tall building that fell when a storm came!

So he would use the many dangers hidden in the Dark Abyss as a means to train and temper himself. Jia Lin didn't bother busying herself with the affairs of the outside world anymore, after all, what could she do to change whatever was happening outside?

"This map, could it be that the old man had the location of this woman the entire time" Jia Lin stared at the plain silver map in his hand.

There were two glowing dots on the map, the surrounding area that the map showed or highlighted, Jia Lin had no idea where or what it was showing. He did not even know which point was closest to him. It just shows two dots and nothing else.

"Try pouring your essence into the map. Perhaps you could get such a reaction" after thinking for a moment, Apollo revealed his thoughts in the open.

"OK," Jia Lin replied.

Within his meridians, a black Mist began to gather towards both of his palms. If anyone saw his meridians, they would think that a raging river was hidden within his body. The black fog now looked as if it was a type of liquid and not just a pure Mist that was pulled from the natural world anymore.

This showed that the black fog inside him was so pure and dense that it wanted to turn into a liquid. One had to know that Jia Lin's meridians were three times that of normal cultivators and mages, this was all thanks to his Ancient Demon Physique.

Energy flowed into the map that was in Jia Lin's hands. As his energy flowed into the map, it was as if the map was a bottomless hole that swallowed up his energy endlessly.

"How could such a thing happen" Jia Lin was surprised at how greedy the normal-looking silver map energy was in his hands.

"The map is strange" Apollo commented. "Keep pouring more energy into it. It should stop at some point" although the map looked as if it could swallow an infinite amount of energy, it should stop at some point right.

"Okay, let's try this for size then"

The air around Jia Lin became heavy as it weighed hundreds of thousands of pounds. His pupils turned blue and his hands were blue in color, Blue mist flowed out and the ground beneath Jia Lin smelled foul due to the staggering weight of his mortal body. The power of the Sages flowed onto the map, which caused the map to start shaking. But still, the map continued to suck in more Jia Lin energy.

"What the hell" Jia Lin's mouth opened wide, his eyes started to tremble.

What kind of map was this that could still swallow so much energy. Even his Sage Mode Blue Mist was still devoured by him to no end. Jia Lin looked at the map and his eyes sharpened. Behind his back, the Hell Absorbing Demon Field Martial Spirit fell.

A blood-red skull rippled behind his back and everything within a 200-meter radius was devoured. The vitality of blood and energy flowed out of the blood red skull into his body like a river that found a new path to flow!

"You want energy, take energy" Jia Lin shouted.

Within his body, roaring sounds echoed as the dragon blood essence within him began to surge. Jia Lin's muscles swelled up and the amount of energy within his body doubled instantly!

"Be careful not to burden her," Apollo reminded her in a somewhat excited voice. He was very curious as to what kind of map could consume a lot of energy and what would happen once the map was full.

He said that Jia Lin had to devote his energy into the map only was he trying to figure out how they got the map to show more details. But who would have thought that map would swallow so much energy?

After which, Jia Lin could see the four dots on the map shining brightly. Two were red and two were blue, the blue dots were visible by the Little World Wolf and himself, the, while the other two red dots were two unknown things that Jia Lin had to aim for.

"Is this a map of the Dark Abyss or is this a map of the Heavens that can map the geography of any area?" Jia Lin asked with a surprised facial expression.

"I think the last guess would be right. This map would change or add a new geography whenever the right amount of energy was poured into it" after pondering the matter deeply, Apollo gave his assumptions about the situation!

"I think you're right. So, should we go now or how?" Jia Lin replied while also asking her own question.

"You've just been through a life-and-death battle. Not only that, but you haven't even closed that black hole, what if those things destroyed everything here" after hearing what Apollo said, Jia Lin turned around, and indeed, indeed, there were still a few black holes quietly rotating behind him.

This black hole was created by the brutal collision of attacks by himself and Demonic Jia. Because of how focused he was on the matter at hand, he did not pay much attention to the black holes present in the area. But now, with a reminder from Apollo, he now remembered, but even so, what could he do to seal off the many black holes in this void?

His own strength could not even create one black hole let alone several black holes. So how could he have the power to seal off some of these black holes? Jia Lin felt as if a headache was coming, but as he continued to look at this black hole, he realized that this black hole no longer had any suction power at all!

Jia Lin leaned his head to the side while measuring the many black holes. A black hole is the endpoint of all space and time, whatever is sucked in will never see a day of light again. The weight of a black hole is terrible, it can destroy a huge world if it is allowed to grow, which is why black holes are to be feared in the known universe and why when it comes to fighting, experts will try to avoid creating a black hole with their attacks!

"Huh. The power of the stars, how majestic" Apollo sighed with deep emotion.

"The power of the stars" Jia Lin focused his eyes and indeed, around some black holes, he could feel the Eternal Qi and the continuous absorption of star power.

"This force prevents black holes from sucking up everything around them. The power to do this, is immense, the demands of it as in a cultivation base are even greater, even terrifying" Apollo once again stated.

"Maybe it was the woman who stopped them" Jia Lin's assumption.

"Can be. Let's go first, according to the map, there should be a mountain there. Let's head in that direction first and head east towards the shining red dot" Apollo had a wide array of knowledge that Jia Lin couldn't compare with, so when he called, Apollo had a wide array of knowledge that Jia Lin couldn't have, Jia Lin did not argue against it in the slightest.
