The Ordinary Love (Rio Anggara)

Rio felt his gaze fade as his head buzzed in a blow. His ears caught someone calling his name.

"Sir Riooo ... !" Rio's sure that's Randy's voice.

Rio was able to shake it, but he managed to stand up again. He didn't want anyone to get hurt but him. So he tried to hold his disciple to start a fight. And without her guessing what she caught was Colin. When did the boy come out of hiding?

"I have to go to the police station now" Randy said slowly.

"Oh yes Mr. Randy. Let me wait for Rio" replied Nicholas.

Nicholas looks at Randy's back as they say goodbye. He rested his back on the back of the chair. A young man sat beside him.

The young man was wearing a black shirt and his appearance was very messy. Bandages are everywhere. Several bruises were visible on his face.

"Murid Rio?" ask Nicholas.

The young man looked shocked, but finally nodded. Nicholas glared a little, these disciples are really troublesome to everyone.

"Why brawl?" nicholas could not help his curiosity.

The young man was silent for a while, he stared at Nicholas face uncomfortably.

"I don't know, Om. I was just following along" replied the boy.

Nicholas frowned before laughing softly. Makes the boy even more surprised.

"If you make a loss do not follow along," said Nicholas at the end of his laughter.

"It was lazy, but ... After seeing Mr. Rio being hit I wanted to go forward," the boy replied sounding like a daydream.

"That's ..." murmured Nicholas softly. Again Nicholas looked at the boy closely. If you think about it, he must be in pain. Nicholas got up from his seat and went into the canteen. Bring mineral water and a glass of ice cubes. And some bread. Poking it at the boy who was staring at him vigilantly.

"I'm your Mr. Rio's friend, it's ice for your bruises, water for you to drink, bread try to eat a little. It's late afternoon you must be hungry." Nicholas explained at length.

The boy smiled and grimaced and thanked me. Nicholas sat down next to him. Drink water too.

Colin looked at Nicholas, he wanted to go inside and see Rio. But his feet would not move. Until someone hits his body. Colin turned around and found his mother crying while hugging him. Colin calmed the woman who gave birth to him.

In the distance, Nicholas was glued to where he stood. Looking at the young peacock-haired lady sobbing in the arms of the child who was chatting with her earlier. He would probably have remained silent had Jericho not called his name repeatedly on the phone.

Yericho looked at Rio who was lying on the hospital bed. Shaking his head before turning towards Nicholas who looked dreamy.

"Well mom's phone?" ask Yericho.

"You call, not me" replied Nicholas.

"Joanna?" ask Jericho again.

"That was."

"It may be that he is battered like this" murmured Jericho.

Nicholas did not pay much attention to what Jericho said. He was still deep in his own thoughts. That was Monica, right? Nicholas asked in my heart.

Nicholas might be hoping to meet that woman here. But he also met his son. Colin's. Nicholas mumbled the name in his heart. So the woman he assessed was his friend's co-worker and the girl was also his friend's student. Nicholas suddenly smiled as he shook his head.

"Crazy?" yericho asked while patting Nicholas on the shoulder.

"Who?" ask Nicholas slowly.

"You," answered Yericho withholding laughter.

"What do you mean?"

"Yes ... You've been smiling to yourself." Yericho did not understand why the cool Nicholas could show such a stupid face.

"Oh .. not crazy ... Fall in love" Nicholas replied with a laugh.

"Love you said?" Yericho shook his head again.

Their conversation came to a halt when they saw Joana enter the room. Clearly crying, Nicholas and Yericho exchanged glances. Before finally approaching and calming their friend's lover.

"He's fine, just not conscious, yet" Yericho said.

"Yes ... You know, he's been doing worse" Nicholas told Yericho.

Joana kept crying and sobbing. Yericho could only give him a handkerchief. And Nicholas is holding a tissue box to Joana's left. Among the three of them, no one spoke. Yericho and Nicholas were not good enough at comforting someone who was crying. They just stood up awkwardly and hoped that Rio would soon come to his senses.

"Rio ..." call Joana exclaim. "Rio ..." again Joana tried to call him.

"Yes ... He'll be conscious any minute, just be patient." Nicholas didn't mean to be a bitch. He really meant to comfort Joana. But what power, he was indeed not very clever.
