CHAPTER 22: The Courage of the Moon

The two girls appear to be playing together on the edge of the pool, they are busy dressing each Barbie doll while chattering as if inviting the inanimate object to talk. “Look at my doll is so beautiful.” The 7-year-old boy said it showed the Barbie doll he was holding.

The supply of oxygen in his lungs was thinning, the Moon's body was suffocating.

“Papa goodbye.” He said from the inside of his heart before his body completely sunk into the bottom of the pool. He did not mean anything to his Papa, as if the Moon was just a gust of wind that could be felt its existence but was ignored because its form was considered non-existent.

Laura pulled her daughter's hand, she carried the body of the 10-year-old boy to the surface. Laura laid her daughter's body on the floor, she gave CPR hoping that her beloved daughter would wake up. Laura's face panicked, she was afraid that the Moon would leave her.
