Honesty Potion
Arya and all the members of the Celestial Swordsman Alliance returned to the meeting hall to interrogate Hui Gan. They were intending to pry some important information regarding the Bloody Devil.
Everyone was now standing before the helplessly-shackled Hui Gan, Arya came forward and then released the tootokan that ensnared the Bloody Demon elder's body.
Hui Gan looked at Arya, his gaze so sharp and ruthless as if he was eager to attack the young man. "You won't get anything from me, you better kill me."
Arya smirked faintly, "I warn you once more, just answer our question or you'll regret it."
Actually Arya said flatly but Hui Gan who heard him felt so threatened that his body shuddered in horror, Hui Gan was sure that the young man would again torture him but even so Hui Gan still tried not to show his anxiety.
Hui Gan laughed out loud then spat towards Arya's face. But strangely the spit was frozen and destroyed by itself exactly a few snores before touching Arya's face.
Arya's flat gaze changed sharply, but before she took action, Taoist Patriarch Lian suddenly stuffed something into Hui Gan's mouth forcefully.
"That's a concoction of honesty, just see if you can still hide something from us." The Taoist Patriarch Lian sneered cynically.
Hearing that, Hui Gan smiled wryly and then he opened his mouth intending to bite his tongue to commit suicide. But before that happened, Arya who already knew that Hui Gan would do that immediately controlled Hui Gan's mind to prevent him from doing so.
Arya smiled mockingly, then asked Taoist Patriarch Lian to start interrogating, Taoist Patriarch Lian then began asking light things to test whether the honesty potion had worked.
Although the only light question about his identity was raised, Hui Gan still insisted on trying to lock his mouth tightly. But his efforts had to end when suddenly his mouth answered all the questions without him being able to control.
Everyone could see that when Hui Gan tried to be quiet or lie, he would squint his face and move his head as if he were in pain.
Arya smiled in satisfaction because the potion of Taoist Patriarch Lian worked well, to make sure that Arya also used mind reader techniques and did not find the lies of everything Hui Gan said.
After knowing the origin of Hui Gan, everyone seemed to be regretting his fate. Where Hui Gan was forced to become a member of the Bloody Devil to save his family who was threatened to be killed if he did not want to join the Bloody Devil. But that compulsion was slowly becoming his own satisfaction because he could get whatever he wanted with the influence and strength he had from the Bloody Demon Sect.
"What movements has your group done to this empire?" The Taoist patriarch Lian hurriedly asked to the point, as he knew the effects of the honesty potion only worked for 20 minutes.
"I don't know much about it, which I know we're gathering warriors from the black stream and infiltrating some kingdoms to destroy the government from within." Hui Gan said with a sour face, inwardly he tried to rebel and curse himself for leaking the plans of his Sect.
The royal higher-ups looked furious, they were about to come forward to vent their frustration but were immediately stopped by the Patriarchs who were not satisfied with the information obtained.
"Which kingdoms have your people infiltrated?" The Taoist Patriarch Lian said with a trembling tone and clenched hands restraining emotions.
"Goading, Dasha and Guangzhou."
Commander Tie Youxia as the commander of the Dasha kingdom suddenly darted and grabbed the neck of Hui Gan. He was furious that the kingdom he was devoting to turned out to be the target of the Bloody Demon group.
Hui Gan smiled cynically, he tried to provoke the commander of Tie Youxia to kill him so that he did not leak too much information regarding his Sectional plan.
Seeing the **** kill from the commander of Tie Youxia, Patriarch Tao Lian quickly grabbed the arm of the commander of Tie Youxia and warned him not to get too carried away by emotions, because the most important thing for now is to know all the enemy's plans so that they can clear all the problems and prepare a plan of attack carefully.
While snorting annoyed the commander of Tie Youxia released his grip. He then walked back a few steps with a sharp gaze that could not be separated from being fixed on Hui Gan.
"Now explain is it true that the recent abduction of babies and girls in this empire is all the work of you? Then are you really performing an offering ritual to resurrect the Demon King?"
Hui Gan's eyes slightly widened, his lips twitching. Actually Patriarch Pao Shaowen lately has manipulated the news and spread that the Bloody Demon Sect does not exist, as well as scapegoating the black flow Sect related to the abduction of girls and babies. They did so in order to avoid the Swordsmen of the Tang Empire.
A few seconds Hui Gan was silent and his body was cornered like a strong electrical voltage, until finally his mouth spoke uncontrollably.
"Right, we did that to resurrect the Demon King. Our plan is to take control of this Empire, after which we will have enough power to be able to rule over the entire world."
Everyone looked furious, then alternately looked at Arya. Now they fully believed what the young man had told them.
Taoist Patriarch Lian clasped the collar of Hui Gan's clothes, "Name all the sects that joined you guys."
Hui Gan was silent for a moment, then smiled sinisterly as the effect of the honesty potion was exhausted. "Even though you already know everything, all of you are just ants who will be unable to do anything. Our strength now is more than enough to rule this empire. It is only a matter of time that this empire is certain to come under our rule."
Arya advanced closer, her gaze making Hui Gan mentally shaken. With her body goosebumps in fear, Hui turned her gaze towards another corner trying to avoid eye contact with the young man.
"Uncle, the effect of the potion has been exhausted. I think we should take care of the root of the problem first, after that we just sort out the rest." Arya spoke flatly, then asked the Taoist Patriarch Lian a bit away.
"Thank you for telling us, I think this is enough and it's time for you to die." Arya's eyes suddenly reddened, along with that Hui Gan let out a hysterical scream before the sound of a head exploding.
Blood splashes spread, soaking Hui Gan's clothes that remained in a standing condition without a head mounted leaning on a support pole.
Everyone was wide-eyed, and some of them even closed their mouths because they felt nauseous to see their heads explode so easily like a balloon. It seems that everyone became disinclined at Arya who they previously underestimated turned out to have abilities far above their expectations, abilities that can be ensured above all of them.
But they did not think how the young man looked so calm after committing the cruel murder, as if it was common for the young man.
Before leaving, Taoist Patriarch Lian asked Arya to meet him later that afternoon. Someone wants the Taoist Patriarch Lian to discuss it with Arya.
The request was granted Arya with a nod of the head, then she stepped out.
"Patriarch Tao, there's a lot I want to ask. But before that, we better put together a plan to foil the demons' rotten plans." Commander Tie Youxia turned his gaze towards the corpse of Hui Gan.
The Taoist Patriarch Lian smiled in satisfaction as finally the truth had been revealed and everyone seemed to want to participate in attacking the Bloody Devil.
Taoist Patriarch Lian looked at elder Lin Hai, as if understanding elder Lin Hai then approached Hui Gan's body and brought him out.
"Brothers and gentlemen all, since there has been an attack and there is more important things to resolve, I hope you agree to postpone the competition and prepare the members to attack the enemy. Does anyone mind?" General Qian Tangjiang opened his voice.
Everyone was silent, it seemed like they were as thoughtful. But suddenly the Coral Ombak Patriarch raised an objection.
"Me and all my members came all the way here to enter the competition. Besides, if we go back, it'll take a long time to get my men here."
All the members of the Celestial Swordsman Alliance could understand Patriarch Ye Guanyu's objections, as the Coral Wave Sect was located far away at the southeast end of the coast so it would be a waste of time if it were to return to prepare its members. Similar things were also thought of by the members of the Wind Mountain Sect, White Tiger Sect and Peacock Stork Sect, but even so the three sects were still not too far away when compared to the location of the Coral Waves Sect.
"You don't need to go back, I will send the best demon beasts belonging to the empire to deliver a message to your sect, that way we won't run out of time." General Qian Tangjiang provided a solution.
"Alright please, sir, the general who arranged it. I think while waiting, it's good we just run this competition according to the schedule that has been set." Said Patriarch Ye Guanyu.
"I understand what you mean, but I'm afraid there's going to be another attack." Reply General Qian Tangjiang.
"Just calm down, I'm sure there won't be another attack. Yesterday's attack happened because of our negligence, now we only need to wait for some sects to arrive, after which we can unite tightening security and make a protective seal together. That way our defense will be much stronger, and there can be no enemy who dares to attack." Tukas Patriarch Ye Guanyu with confidence.
Taoist Patriarch Lian smiled, "Please raise your hands for those who agree that the competition will continue."
Silent, for a moment everyone looked at each other. The first Patriarch Ye Guanyu raised his hand and followed up all his members. Although it still looked doubtful but most of the members of the Heavenly Swordsman Alliance raised their hands, as did Patriarch Tao Lian who felt uneasy towards some sects who had come all the way.
"Alright, then I will return to inform His Majesty of this matter. I hope nothing will happen here." General Qian Tangjiang said goodbye with all his officers.
When he had just walked over, General Qian Tangjiang suddenly stopped as he remembered something. Then he turned his body.
"Patriarch Tao, I forgot to ask you something. Physician Xian said that if we want to know his true abilities, we are told to ask you. So may I know what stage of cultivation Physician Xian is at?"
"I don't know exactly, but for sure my nephew has gone beyond the stages of the Holy Swordsman." Patriarch Tao Lian said a little awkwardly. How not his nearly hundred-year-old self had just ascended to the 6th level of the Sacred Swordsman, whereas his 16-year-old nephew had already surpassed the results of his achievements for decades.
Everyone showed an expression of disbelief, but given everything Physician Xian showed, they were able to accept the statement from Patriarch Tao Lian.
General Qian Tangjiang smiled meaningfully, "I didn't think the prophecy was indeed true. Thank you everyone, please leave." He said as he cupped his hands and then resumed his steps out.
"Pregnancy? What does that mean.." Asked Patriarch Gu Ta Sian who had just been silent.
"A prediction about someone who will bring peace." The Taoist Patriarch Lian said slowly.
"So that's why you always look up to your niece. But why did the young man look so merciless and cruel when he killed." Tukas Patriarch Gu Ta Sian.
"Have you forgotten that the weakness of the bloody demon people is head, heart and fire? Maybe it was because they were perverted humans so Xian'er had no pity on them, and I myself agreed to that attitude." Toilet Patriarch Tao Lian with a serious face.

After telling people to burn Hui Gan's body, elder Lin Hai did not return to the meeting hall. He flew towards the lake thinking Arya would be there.
Sure enough, from a distance elder Lin Hai could see Arya was gathering with her friends as well as some stealth beasts. Immediately he increased his flying speed and finally set foot in front of Arya.
Elder Lin Hai frowned as he saw the faces of Liu Wei, Huang She and the three brothers frowning. "What did you do to them Xian'er."
Arya smiled, "It's okay uncle. I'll drop them off, maybe tomorrow I'll continue."
Elder Lin Hai held onto Arya's shoulder, "Just calm down, I will definitely take care of them. But it's better here for a few more days, don't you miss your uncle. After all we should wait for the Alliance members to prepare themselves and prepare an army to attack the Bloody Devil."
"Sorry uncle, I don't have much time. If there's still a chance, I'll definitely come visit." Arya sighed. "There's something urgent and I need to get it done quickly before it's too late."
"If you leave then what if the alliance members are looking for you? Didn't you say you were going to attack?"
"Just tell them I must have come to their aid, I will not deny the words of a warrior." Arya smiled kindly.
