The Dark King's Body

The orders of Patriarch Pao Shaowen were immediately carried out. Quickly the core members of the Bloody Demon Sect spread throughout the entire compound of retreats and training grounds in order to make an announcement regarding the order of the youths to gather in the courtyard located in front of the main building.

At the same time, Chen Ren who was trying to get out of the Bloody Demon Headquarters was forced to hide inside a tank drum filled with water. Because at that time there are hordes of disciples that will pass through his place passing by.

Some of the students passing through the tank drum stopped for a moment because they saw the soil under the water storage drum was wet. One of them wanted to check if the drum was leaking, but when two meters away the man reached the drum, there was a rebuke from a core disciple telling them to rush off to the courtyard of the main building.

The core disciple was actually astonished but because he thought the leaking drum was just a trivial matter, he chose not to care about it and passed away.

After no more footsteps, Chen Ren then slightly opened the wooden slab that became the cover of the tank drum hiding place. A few minutes after confirming it was safe enough, Chen Ren came out of the tank. 

Along the way Chen Ren walked quietly and tried not to make a sound because he realized that now he was in the cage of the enemy who all the inhabitants are a Swordsman. If it is discovered, then it is over.

In the midst of his escape, Chen Ren, who did not know the ins and outs of where he was, seemed confused to determine the direction where he was going. But when he came out of the housing complex he saw a row of trees that looked lush, he said, he stepped inside hoping that if he had passed through the small forest he would find a defensive wall like a headquarters in general.

But just walking tens of meters down the forest, Chen Ren was faced with a dead end. It was not a defensive wall he had found but rather an invisible wall, an extremely powerful protective seal. And that was enough to make Chen Ren's hopes dashed.

Unrelentingly, Chen Ren continued to attempt to destroy the protective seal with his sword without causing an uproar, however many times he tried but still the protective seal was too strong so that all his efforts only bore fruit. 

Exasperated, Chen Ren then flowed Qi into his sword blade, thinking if he could not destroy it with ordinary attacks then by using Qi he hoped that he would be able to destroy the protective seal. But Chen Ren soon regained his senses and abandoned his intention of not taking any risks. Because if he did then the clash of energies that would occur later would cause a commotion, and it would certainly invite the attention of the Blood Devil Headquarters residents.

Chen Ren then walked back, now he went along the boundary of the protective seal hoping to find the entrance gate, arriving at a slightly roomy location. There Chen Ren saw a building that looks like a gate, around which there are several horned human statues that hold a fork spear and have a double-branched tail.

With a hint of curiosity and hesitation, Chen Ren walked over. Unknowingly he passed through the thin curtain of fog, Chen Ren seemed to enter another dimension so that he and the guards there could not see each other. Somehow Chen Ren was suddenly so interested in the place, that Chen Ren finally entered the gate that led him to the underground room.

At first the underground passageway was dark and stuffy, but when Chen Ren set foot down the stairs, the right left wall suddenly let out a fire that spread as if giving directions.

Chen Ren was slightly stunned, a feeling of hesitation arose in him to continue his move. He rushed to turn his body intending to return. "What's this?"

Uncontrollable, Chen Ren's body was as if controlled by something outside of him. With a sour face Chen Ren continued to step his feet towards the stone door that contained strange symbols and skull carvings and a statue that was exactly like the statue on the outside.

When it was ten steps away, suddenly the stone door was split open by itself. The light instantly illuminated the room inside there, making Chen Ren's face momentarily blurry.

"Haha..." The sound of laughter with a prolonged heavy tone echoed throughout the room.

As soon as Chen Ren's hair brushed, his heart beat, making the fear that he had been craving come out. Indeed Chen Ren had already mentally rounded up not to be afraid of death when deciding to become a swordsman, but not the feeling of death fear that he felt at this time but somehow what kind of fear he himself did not understand.

A streak of red light shot out like a laser pulled Chen Ren's body and carried him hovering until he finally landed before a one-horned statue in the forehead.

"Well, I know you have a grudge. If you're willing to be the vessel of my power, I'll make sure you can avenge you."

Chen Ren, who was struck by a feeling of fear, looked wildly for the source of the voice. But when he felt a strong aura before him, he only realized that the sound came from the statue in front of him.

"Is this just a dream? How could a statue possibly talk." Chen Ren was deep in thought as he frowned staring at the statue before him intently.

Suddenly the statue's eyes lit up red, which immediately made Chen Ren's body collapse with a kneeling position half prostrate.

"I don't give you a choice, willing or not you still have to be my container. Haha." Slowly the sound of laughter subsided, then black smoke came out of the statue and then entered Chen Ren's mouth.

Chen Ren's body fluttered like a fish on land, he experienced extreme pain as if there was such hot magma inside. Makes it seem like it is burning from the inside and feels like its life will be released from the body.

A few minutes later, Chen Ren's body began to stabilize until he was finally able to stand up with a face that showed confusion. It took Chen Ren time to digest the situation, until he was not aware that there was a sound of footsteps heading into place.

An elder who saw the door of the offering room open, then immediately darted to make sure the situation there. Because there is or is no one there, the door of the room will always be closed. People who came with the elder were confused, they did not know what to do because they were new members who came to the place to undergo the inauguration ritual.

Seeing that someone was standing in front of the idol, the elder without further ado flashed and landed right in front of the person.

"Who are you? And what are you doing here.." The Bloody Demon Elder named Cui Lueshang extended his hand as a gesture asking for a badge from Chen Ren.

Frantic with his whereabouts being known, Chen Ren then fled by flashing as fast as he could to get out of the underground chamber before more Bloody Demon members came.

Of course Elder Cui Lueshang did not think that the young man was a ghost, because he felt an aura of darkness emanating from the young man's body. Elder Cui Lueshang then flashed to the place of the people who came with him, at which time they were standing in front of the door of the room.

"Did you see where the intruder went?"

The four people who were asked seemed confused, they had just arrived and saw no one else in there other than the elder. Then they simultaneously shook their heads.

Elsewhere, Patriarch Pao Shaowen and Patriarch Chao Yun Kwok who sensed the aura of the Dark King had already been freed immediately rushed out of their respective rooms then they headed to the offering place. But it was too late, because all they found was Elder Cui Lueshang and four new members who would be baptized.

"Who of them has a burn mark on the chest?" Patriarch Chao Yun Kwok observed the four people that elder Cui Lueshang had brought.

"Sorry Patriarch, they are new members and I've checked them, but they don't have a mark on the chest like the Patriarch meant." Elder Cui Lueshang showed an astonished expression because it was not usual for the two Patriarchs to come to the offering simultaneously.

The words of Elder Cui Lueshang left Patriarch Pao Shaowen and Patriarch Chao Yun Kwok confused. Although they have not checked the situation in the room, but they both can confirm that there is no one else besides them.

"Other than you, did anyone else enter this room before?" Patriarch Pao Shaowen said flatly that the ending was a thin grin.

Realizing the anger of Patriarch Pao Shaowen, Elder Cui Lueshang immediately knelt down and told the four people who were with him to kneel down as well.

"Even the Patriarch, I had seen a young man who I thought was a guard but before I checked his identity, the young man suddenly disappeared." Elder Cui Lueshang said so nervously.

Patriarch Pao Shaowen nodded slowly, but suddenly the four people kneeling with elder Cui Lueshang collapsed under the condition of a dismembered body.

Seeing that, elder Cui Lueshang gulped, his body trembling and breaking out in cold sweat. Quickly he prostrated.

"Did you still remember that young man's face?" Patriarch Pao Shaowen said flatly.

Without saying, elder Cui Lueshang nodded banging his head against the floor.

Meanwhile, the new Chen Ren realized that his speed and strength were rising drastically was seen smirking thinly while examining the energy changes within his body. Chen Ren continued to flicker, more precisely he flew at high speed until he had subconsciously broken through the protective seal of the Bloody Demon Headquarters.

Feeling that he had enough strength to deal with Arya, Chen Ren flew towards the nearby village to inquire the direction where the Lightning Valley was located.

But when the intent had just crossed, a voice echoed within his head.

"Where do you want to go, boy? Your body is not strong enough to hold my power. Go back and improve your body quality." 

"Who are you?" Chen Ren stopped floating in the air while wailing.

"I am the King of darkness, the power you have right now is from me. You must obey my will otherwise I can do something you never imagined."

"Where to go back? I am not a member of them and I am not willing to be your slave. Get out of my body, I do not need you!" Chen Ren snapped while trying to expel the foreign energy within his body.

"Haha... Your body is mine."

Suddenly Chen Ren's body grazed violently and fell to the ground violently. At the moment when Chen Ren was trying to endure the pain, the voice of the Dark King came back to his head.

"Stop trying to get me out, you're just gonna hurt your body. Just follow my orders, then all my strength will be yours. With my power you can get your beloved girl and even I will help you become the ruler of this world."

Chen Ren began to melt, he confirmed the words of the King of Darkness, because the more he tried to extract dark energy then his nerves seemed to be cut off. With a little consideration Chen Ren finally obeyed the King of Darkness by no longer trying to expel the dark energy within his body.

"Alright, I'll obey your wishes but I won't go back to the Demon Headquarters." Chen Ren's face grimaced with his supine body and eyes closed.

The Dark Lord of course refused, he continued to persuade Chen Ren to return to the Bloody Demon Headquarters, because all the members of the Bloody Devil were his followers. However as Chen Ren continued to insist on refusing, then with a little consideration the Dark Lord finally let the young man. The most important thing for the Dark Lord right now was to master Chen Ren's body completely, then so without the help of even the Bloody Devil, though, he alone was enough to raise the Demon King along with the entire Demon army to invade this world.

With the direction of the Dark Lord, Chen Ren then turned his original goal of going to the Lightning Valley into going to the Yun Empire. According to the Dark Lord, the Yun Empire was a suitable place for Chen Ren to operate alone as the Yun Empire was more dominant in the realm of the Black Swordsman.

Chen Ren was required to be imprisoned for an indefinite period of time, and he was also told to eat seven virgin girls once a month under the pretext of increasing his strength and physique.
