The Dark King's Power

Chen Ren flew over the lush vast forest, now he was already in the territory of the Yun Empire. Chen Ren was still curious about the phenomenon that the King of darkness described as the radiance of energy derived from the Legendary Heirloom.

After flying for several tens of minutes, Chen Ren finally saw the resident settlement. He landed not far from there.

A fairly densely populated settlement stretched out wide, with a not-so-sturdy, high defensive wall surrounding the life inside.

Chen Ren was seen closing his ears, he felt uncomfortable and was very disturbed by the frenetic sounds of the activities of the residents behind the great wall. Not because of the noise inside, but because Chen Ren's sense of hearing became more sensitive after receiving power from the Dark Lord. Currently Chen Ren can hear all the sounds around him, it makes him a headache because he is not used to it and has not been able to control his ability.

Chen Ren suddenly felt an immense thirst and hunger, he had never felt this kind of hunger even before he became a warrior. Chen Ren then hurriedly shot out with an invisible speed barging through the gate. Passed through the guards without difficulty.

The guards looked at each other when they felt a strong wind entering the gate. Although they were unable to see Chen Ren's speed, they were able to sense the aura of someone passing through them.

The state that Chen Ren was experiencing was not without reason, it was the beginning of the effects of the Dark King's strength that began to fuse with his body. The power gained by instant means over dark energy certainly had a side effect, that was what Chen Ren was currently feeling.

"Sorry sir, only this food can we serve. Please enjoy first, we will soon serve other food." Said the waiter delivering the food in a tone so nervous, he was so frightened that he did not dare to look at Chen Ren.

After putting the food on the table, the waiter ventured to look at Chen Ren. He was so surprised to see Chen Ren's eyes lit up red. Chen Ren's gaze contained such a powerful energy, that it made the servant instantly faint.

Chen Ren paid no heed to the waiter, he sat down at the table on which he was served food, and Chen Ren hastily ate it like a starving beast.

However Chen Ren suddenly spewed out, he pushed the table before him until it made the table float smashing into the cashier guard. Instantly, the cashier was killed in a terrible condition, his body was split and the wall behind him collapsed due to the force of the hit table.

The security guards of the tavern and all the visitors immediately stood around Chen Ren.

"If you don't like food here, go! Don't make a mess here. This city has laws, you have to account for what you've done."

Chen Ren looked towards the security guard standing beside him, his gaze so cold. Chen Ren grinned and suddenly the security guard bounced against the tables behind him.

"I have said no, after you have received my strength, your food is no longer human food. If you're hungry, eat and drink the virgin's flesh and blood."

As if having a beast-like instinct, Chen Ren who looked as if possessed darted and pounced on the body of the cashier guard who was lying covered in blood. Chen Ren tore the body apart and ate the flesh in front of everyone.

"Badly demon!"

One of the men ran while raising his sword intending to attack, but his body suddenly bounced when several more jengkal reached where Chen Ren was still busy devouring the contents of the organs in the body of the cashier guard.

One of the security officers took the initiative to go out to seek help, while the other still continued to attack Chen Ren.

The Dark Lord cursed in annoyance, even though the abilities of the Yun Empire's swordsmen were extremely weak. But to overcome all warriors would certainly be troublesome. And if that were to happen, it was certain that Chen Ren's existence would cause a stir, which would probably attract the attention of warriors from other Empires.

As he awoke from a nightmare, Chen Ren was shocked to find himself eating raw human flesh. He tried to spit out his stomach, but his actions only made everyone astonished and again launched an attack.

Chen Ren, who understood the situation because of him, then shot up through the roof of the shop and then flew out of the city.

An old man clenched his hands staring at the ruins of a building that had been covered with trees and shrubs. Zhen Long then flashed past several buildings until he landed in front of a large tree.

Zhen Long circled the tree while saying a sentence repeatedly. Right after Zhen Long said the sentence 72 times, suddenly the ground under the tree shook and then a root came out of the ground.

Zhen Long then moves the roots forward and back 3 times, then moves them to the right, down and up alternately 2 times.

After that, the roots go back into the soil. And suddenly the big tree fell, saw a hole that jutted inward.

Zhen Long smiled, "I haven't been here for thousands of years, but I still remember how to open this secret room."

With a single blow, Zhen Long plunged into the hole. Along with that, the large tree that had fallen back stood as before.

It turned out that the hole was very deep, it took a dozen minutes to reach its base. The pit led Zhen Long into a passageway made of precious metal. There was indeed no light source, but the stones stuck along the passage suddenly emitted light after Zhen Long poured Qi into the walls of the passageway.

"It turns out the heirloom isn't here anymore." Zhen Long sat down while staring at the room that had just opened.

Zhen Long did not leave after finding an heirloom stick that resided there was no longer there, he entered the room trying to find clues that might be in there.

Zhen Long's forehead flinched when he saw a sentence engraved on the wall, "So you've already moved to the lake of nirvana." Zhen Long smiled in relief and then walked out of the underground chamber, intending to do the calculations towards the Green Bat Sect that had destroyed the Ancient Tomb.
