After being buried last night because it is not possible to immediately carry out the funeral, finally the morning Lila's body has been buried in a public burial place.

The red earth mound was still wet, and Ariella Hashim's name was clearly imprinted on the tombstone. The mourners had moved on as soon as the funeral was over, leaving only a few faithful.

Rico sat in front of Lila's grave with his parents at his side, while before him were his two in-laws who had been crying incessantly. Lila's mother had even fainted many times since hearing the news of their daughter's death solely yesterday afternoon.

Rei who was in Rico's arms, of course, still did not understand the situation that was happening. The boy seemed to wipe his daddy's face every time he saw Rico's falling tears, making all the eyes that saw the poignant scene could not help but be filled.

“Daddy.. where's mommy ? I want mommy.. want to wake up mommy..” it looks like the boy remembered Lila back. Since yesterday he kept crying trying to wake Lila who had been lying stiff, and everyone ended up working extra hard to be able to distract Rei.

“Daddy.. I want mommy.” Rico could not answer when Rei again shook his shoulders with all the strength he had because he felt he did not get the response he expected. The boy seemed to start crying again, missing the unlikely return of Lila.

Seeing the scene Arini immediately crouched down to take over Rei, especially when he saw Rico who seemed to be back in tears.

“Rei.. here same mommy Sean well dear.”

“Gak want.. I want mommy.” even though Rei brushed him off but Arini desperately hugged the boy, taking him away from Rico who was seen back sobbing. A moment Arini saw Tian was already sitting crouching next to Rico and patting Rico's badly shaken shoulder while watching him move away Meta was seen following his steps.

“Rei darling. don't cry well. later mommy Sean will buy Rei ice cream a lot. Rei want it?” Arini tries to persuade Rei, continuing to try to get away from Lila's final resting place but this time it seems like his efforts have failed again because Rei's crying sounds louder and more confused to overcome it.

“Gak want.. I want mommy.. huhuuu.. kangen mommy...” Rei has been crying while revolting in Arini's arms, making Arini overwhelmed and her feet tripped over the roots of trees growing in the cemetery area.

Arini's body was almost unsteady, fortunately Meta held his arm quickly because otherwise he and Rei would have fallen.

“Sini let me, Rin.” Meta took over Rei from his embrace while seeing Arini grimacing as it seemed like her legs were sprained.

“Rei dear, don't cry well.. here's the same..mommy, hug mommy well dear..” persuade Meta gently, which was unexpected even with a loud cry but Rei instead turned to welcome by wrapping his two hands firmly around Meta's neck while immersing his face there, he said, the originally tight cry seemed to change a hiccup while continuing to hug Meta tightly. Meta continued to calm Rei down by gently rubbing the tiny back over and over again.

Arini leaned her body while taking shelter under an acacia tree, still looking grimacing.

The two of them finally chose to stand under the tree without a sound, only to hear Rei's sobs that the longer they looked calmer. Maybe because of fatigue the boy was seen starting to be drowsy still with the position of the face dredged Meta's neck.

“Sleep.. yes?” ask Arini while whispering.

Meta nods in agreement to make Arini breathe a sigh of relief.

“So dear this child..” Ogre Arini could not hold back her tears that back inundated gently rubbed the delicate hair of Rei. “I did not expect Lila would leave Rei this soon.she was still too small.” whispered Arini again.

Meta was silent, only his hands were constantly rubbing Rei's petite back nonstop. He himself was unable to say anything more. Her heart was so sore as it was squeezed since yesterday seeing the sight of Rei busily waking Lila who was stretched stiff.. and then after Lila was forgiven the boy continued to ask Lila who he never met again.

Everyone was busy coaxing and distracting the boy's attention and grief. Starting from Rico, babby sitter, Rico's parents, Lila's parents, Arini and Tian, even all the relatives tried hard to get rid of the little Rei's longing. The longing that the boy would never be able to understand how mommy Lila would not be able to return even if just to hug her again.

“Your leg how, Rin.. still sick ?” meta asked half-whispered, not wanting their conversation to disturb Rei's sleep drooping in his arms.

“Iya, Met.” Arini looked at her ankle which even now looked swollen.

“Can road not.?” tanya Meta is concerned.

“Trus how..?”

Arini smile.”It's okay.Let me wait for Tian.” while glancing at Lila's grave, where it looks like Tian has been standing next to Rico while patting his best friend's back.

Those who were left behind finally seemed to be walking in tandem away from Lila's final resting place despite the steps that looked so heavy.

“Rei fell asleep.” said Arini while stroking the back of Rei who was still in Meta's arms once the small group was right in front of them.

“Sini. let mommy fatong.” mother Rico seems to take the initiative to take over Rei from Meta's embrace but suddenly Rei even tightened his embrace sign of rejection.

Seeing that Rico eventually replaced his mother took the initiative to take over Rei. Rico approached his son to make it easier for him to change hands. Rico's slow movements seemed to be quite disturbing to the boy for a moment when he saw Rico's face suddenly Rei was crying again.

“With daddy well, dear.” persuade Rico as well.

“Mommy.. I don't want daddy.. I want mommy..” that tiny hand twitched... trying to reach the same Meta as everyone in that place seemed dumbfounded by Rei's action. And even though Rico is seen insisting on hugging her.. Rei even looks more and more unsettled, making Meta who because of pity mixed with sadness somehow got the strength from where finally welcomed the two tiny hands Rei who had been trying to reach him while crying loudly.

"Sir Rico. please let me persuade Rei first.” Meta said with a pleading gaze towards Rico.

“Leave it alone, Co. maybe that way Rei can calm down.” Lila's mother seemed to speak with her eyes moist.

Rico who was initially seen still reluctant to remove the tiny body Rei finally relented, let alone see Rei's movement that had no signs of ending his rebellion. His only son seemed to want to jump into Meta's embrace just like that if he was not holding it firmly.

And sure enough, as soon as Rico loosened his embrace, Rei immediately hugged Meta as fast as lightning, his two tiny arms seemed tightly wrapped around Meta's neck, re-embed his tiny face draped around Meta's neck as before.

“I want mommy... dear mommy..” the boy kissed both cheeks Meta just like that in front of several pairs of eyes that look jolted at the heart-wrenching scenery, not least Meta.

No one knew what was going on in Rei's mind about Meta, and why the little boy thought Meta was his mommy.

“Mommy is also dear Rei.” unconsciously, although with quivering lips held back the tears Meta said softly while staring deeply into Rei's pair of eyes that were also staring fixedly at him.

The boy rubbed the two cheeks of Meta, each of which flowed clear, dipping both cheeks Meta with

tenderness like an angel who wants to heal his heart wounds. Before finally re-burying his tiny face Meta neck. hugging him so strongly is like rediscovering something lost.. what he wanted to take care of back with all his heart, so that he would never leave again..
