Tian was still staring fixedly at Rico. His gaze traced every inch of Rico's face carefully, trying to re-describe what was right that was residing in Rico's brain now was the same as what he had on his mind at the moment, that was the final conclusion of all the possibilities he had in mind.

Although Tian himself initially felt sanctioned because it seemed to be very deceptive, but in reality the unusual glint was so clearly seen in the eyes of Rico who was now staring back at him with a dagger-sharp gaze.

Right now Rico is jealous.

There was no other possibility that Tian could deduce from Rico's twisted expression.

“He, Damn it.. Keep your voice down !! I've said since then there's nothing special other than resort inauguration talks, then you want an explanation like what else ?.”

“Damn, I still can't believe it just like that,” Rico is bullied.

“Ya already, then it's up to you !”

“Surely something.” Rico is still tight.

“You conclude by yourself as you please !” Tian folded his hands in annoyance.

“I still do not believe, how could it be that easy you want to take your precious time just to have lunch together and talk about the inauguration of the resort with Lila ?”

“But that is the reality right?”

“haha.. that's overkill,” Rico chuckles cynically.

Tian looked at Rico with a slight squint of his eyes. “What is excessive ? Almost every day I have lunch with my different business partners. Then where is the strange ?”

“That I know. But Lila hasn't been at such an important level to the point that you invited her officially,”

Tian could not help his pair of eyes from glaring when he heard Rico's sentence.  “What the hell..why do you look like a husband who greatly underestimates the ability of your own wife ?”

“You just refused lunch with me after the best electro contract yesterday ?”

Tian laughed discordantly. “So you envy ?”

“It can't be ? I'm your friend.”

“Dan Lila your wife.”

“Why are you so making it special ?”

“Yes because she's your wife.” it feels like Tian wants to hit Rico's head with a club.

“Stop giving that stupid excuse.”

“Huhh, for a fool like you I have to use a stupid excuse what else is more stupid than that?”

Rico looked at Tian. He shook his head many times. Staring at Tian again with a strange look.

“You secretly invited Lila like this, how can I not be suspicious ?”

“Whose word am I secretly ?” tian Protest. “I told Rudi to contact some people, not just Lila.”

“Alright.. Then why don't you just take me along ? I could have had lunch with you guys, right.?”

Tian laughed silently at Rico's actions which he thought were feeling horrendous himself. He shook his head.

“Nothing yet you already mind me coming along, then how do I not suspect your intentions ?”

“Ck.. ck.. ck.

Tian clucked for a moment to face his friend there was no morals before him, who boldly accused him of being cruel.

“I never said that I mind you coming, Co. But if I were to take you, wouldn't that look weird ? You're not even involved at all with what we'll talk about later.”

Rico was silent, although in his heart he justified Tian's reason but his selfishness was still unwilling to take it for granted.

Tian sighed for a moment. “You can come and I don't mind. But that's only if your wife wants to take you. Because otherwise, it would look like I put you in the middle of the deal.”

Rico is still tight-lipped.

Tian sighed heavily. “That's why I don't want Lila to feel that way. He deserves credit for the hard work he has proven through the MGR project. I don't want Lila or anyone else to think I'm doing all this just because Lila is your wife, and you're the one who clearly has a connection with me. Did you get here, Co ?”

Rico was still speechless, he tried to digest back the meaning of Tian's words.

Tian knew Rico was not that stupid so he could not understand the intent contained in his words. It was just that which made Tian doubtful because his best friend was currently being overwhelmed with a blind feeling of jealousy

Rico grimaced to hear it but with his determination he still dared to look at Tian who was as if he was ready to eat him alive.

“Truly outrageous.” hiss Tian amazingly furious. “Can you still be jealous of me after I explain everything ?”

“I'm not jealous,”

“Be stupid like this still want to say no jealousy?!”

“I'm just curious.”

“Huhh.. It's up to you,” Tian snorted again, throwing away his gaze while re-folding his hands in the chest. Trying to stay put with the little patience he had left because it felt like Tian really wanted to strangle Rico's neck right now.

“Tian.”

“So it's true you don't like him right ?”

“It looks like you've really been reluctant to live.”

Rico glared at the ice-cold sentence.

“Tian.”

“More ?!”

“Why have you never said that Indotama Group is fully invested in the construction of Mercy Green Resort Lila ?“

“Because all this time I also did not realize that your wife is Ceo PT. Mercy.”

Then Tian turned his face to meet with Rico's face which was also watching him closely.

“Listen to this carefully.”

Said Tian seriously as he straightened his back on the back of the chair.

“Because the Mercy Green Resort development project arguably does not include Indotama Group's excellent project, so all this time I only told Rudi and some competent people to supervise and handle its development. In other words, from the beginning I was never directly involved. Until about a week ago Rudi gave information that the MGR is almost complete and will soon be inaugurated, and that is where I ordered Rudi to enter my schedule to be able to monitor the location directly, right after the Best Electro meeting this afternoon, and I met Lila there.” Tian is forced to explain it at length so that Rico stops suspecting him.

Rico was silent again.

Suddenly Rico felt how far away his heart and feelings were between him and Lila. They are both a legitimate couple, but in reality their relationship is not even more than two strangers who live together. Rico was stunned when he realized the reality, his heart even followed– was sore.

“So... You will still invite him to lunch ?” Rico asked again with a curious lookout.

“Only if Lila is ready,”

“Will he decline the invitation of Ceo Indotama Group.?” Rico asked back with hesitant intonation, but all he found was Tian who again made a mock smile.

“It seems impossible. All this time where there are people who can refuse if invited directly by me ? Ceo Indotama Group.?” tian said with a haughty tone.

“Huhh.. confident once,”

Tian laughed lightly. “Originally you know, before I came here, Rudi had sent me a message first that your wife was willing and even immediately responded to Rudi's short message,” he said while reviewing a triumphant smile.

‘Appa.. ??! so when he ran and drove in the mood to immediately meet the man who had dared to take his wife to lunch, Lila was cool reading Rudi's short message, even immediately replied to him anyway.’

Somehow knowing it makes Rico's heart burn like a fire. He was upset not playing around hearing it.

‘What is it now that he is jealous ?’

Rico is relentless.

‘Sial.. indeed who can refuse the invitation of a Sebastian Putra Djenar ? The Ceo Indotama Group ? Rico was really upset because it turned out that even his wife Lila was not included in the exception. Huhh, sucks !!’

“Why is Lila so easy to accept your invitation?”

“Don't be jealous so. I never thought of taking anything that belonged to you,”

“I've told you I'm not jealous !!” tepis Rico was as fast as lightning but instead provoked Tian's laughter to explode.

“Not jealous but acting this weird.” Tian sneer laughed.

“It is precisely you who are strange !”

“Just because of your wife Lila, then where is the weird one ?”

“Cihh,”

Rico glared as he looked at Tian who was again smiling mockingly.

“What you know, Co.. Mercy Green Resort is truly amazing, and it was born from the cool hand of your wife who has managed to design almost the entire magic that is there.”

“It turns out he's that great well.” murmured.

“You're proud right?”

“I ?” Rico paused for a moment, then shook his head. “No.. I feel normal.” but actually his little heart knows that his mouth is lying.

“You are a terrible husband. Had I been Lila's husband, I would have been very proud of my wife's hard work.” to want to see the explosion in Rico's eyes, Tian had deliberately spewed out the sentence to provoke it, he said, and sure enough, because right now Rico had already looked at him with a fierce look.

Tian laughed at him. “Again jealous !”

Instead of shrieking at Rico's high tone of voice, Tian's laughter even more scattered, making Rico's face reddened with irritation even more shame.
