HATRED

HATRED
Like a Wheel that is spinning

Vin slowly opened his eyes as the morning sun barged in through his window, smashing into his face and illuminating the entire room of his not-so-wide room.

A moment of disappointment was present from within him. His chest was sore and tight realizing that today he could still breathe, realizing that today he would have a bad day just like the days before.

Every night before going to bed he prayed that the morning would never come, that he would die in his sleep and have a better life in another world. But it seems that prayer has not been answered until now.

He remembered that he had prayed long enough. It was probably more than ten years when he realized the world was so cruel, when he realized that no one wanted it and when he realized that no one loved him.

He just lay still on his bed while occasionally blinking his eyes. There was not the slightest desire in him to rise from that place. There was not the slightest desire in him to live that shitty day. But it seemed like that desire had to be gone when he heard a bang on his bedroom door.

"Arise the slacker and do your duty!" a man shouted behind the door of his room.

Vin was silent and did not flinch at all. Such an incident was common to him, so he would not be surprised again upon hearing it.

The banging grew stronger and stronger, shaking the surrounding items and almost knocking down the door.

"I swear I'll kill you when you get out!" yelled that voice again while continuing to bang on the door.

Vin got up and opened the door. In front of him stood a large tall man with a slight sideburn on his chin, fierce-faced and ready to beat him all out.

"Want to kill me, just do it" Vin said looking at him coldly.

Instantly a fist landed on his face. Made Vin's body bounce and fall on the floor. It seemed like her small body was unable to withstand such a powerful blow. A blow from someone three times bigger than him.

Vin's body is quite small for a child who is almost 15 years old. With a height of not up to 160 cm, small, thin like a malnourished child. Or maybe it is malnourished because all this time he was not well taken care of in that family. Or maybe because his soul is depressed that makes his growth slow. I don't know.

But even so, she actually has a pretty sweet face if she wants to take good care of him. But unfortunately he did not realize it or did not care.

"Hay hay, he'll die" said a woman in a room not far from Vin's.

"Wake up and do your job, NOW!" yell that man.

Vin slowly got up, walked towards the kitchen and made breakfast as he did every day.

A young woman approached him and said, "I wonder, why do you always fight your father?"

"He's not my father" Vin replied without looking at the woman.

"But she was married to your mother, right? that means he's your father" the woman argued again.

This time Vin did not respond to him. He was too lazy to argue with his father's new wife. His stepfather's new wife married a few months ago. She was the fifth woman to marry her stepfather after Vin's birth mother died. Young women in their 30s, oval-faced, tall and slim and shoulder-length curls.

You could say she was a pretty woman. Then why would she want to marry Vin's aged stepfather? that's because she's not a good woman. Just like the previous women whose stepfather Vin married. Vin was sure this too would only last a while and his stepfather would look for a new successor. Vin's sick of this. really sick of it.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" ask the woman again but Vin just shut up. "All right, I assume it's not."

The woman approached him. "You know, you actually have a pretty sweet face."

"Stay away from me." Vin looked at him sharply.

The woman smiled and moved away. "I'm just kidding."

"Veronika baby, come here!" yelled Father Vin who came from the living room not far from there.

"I'm coming" replied the woman as she passed leaving Vin.

"Oh she," the woman turned around, "please mine don't overcook the egg because I don't like it."

"You know," said Vin looking at the woman, "I'll kick you in a moment and baj**n it's out of the house."

"Well, I'm so scared to hear it." The woman smiled as she covered her mouth as if mocking Vin and passed away leaving him.

Vin clenched his hands holding back his anger.

A moment later Vin was done with his breakfast menu. He put fried rice with cow's eye eggs on it as well as coffee for his father at the dinner table where his father and wife were already waiting.

Vin rushes to his room to get ready to go to school. Where in school there will be many unpleasant events like the previous days. I don't know why everyone's trying to oppress him.

"Brakk!" There was the sound of the front door closing as Vin passed by.

"Has he gone?" ask Vin's father to Veronika.

"I think so," Veronika replied as she looked at the front door.

"Huh," Vin's father breathed out softly.

"Why?" veronika asked looking at her husband who looked worried about something.

"The longer the boy gets more terrible, the more scared I get" complains Vin.

Veronika gawked at the words of her husband. "Are you scared of a kid like him? Aren't you ashamed of your body like a wrestler."

Indeed the ideals of Vin's father used to want to be a wrestler. Therefore he has a strong and strong body. Although now his ideals are not achieved, but he is still diligent in exercising to maintain his body shape.

"Didn't you realize that kid was so horrible? He had a very evil aura," Vin's father said.

"I didn't realize it, I thought she was quite sweet," Veronika said as she enjoyed her fried rice. "Maybe it's just your fear because all this time you've been doing bad things to her."

"Maybe I have to get rid of it, so that I can live quietly," Vin's father said as he sipped his coffee.

"Or maybe he will get rid of you first" said Veronika who made Vin's father look at him still in a state of drinking his coffee. "Don't you think he put something in your coffee."

"BROMAN!"

"SIIYIAL!" veronika shouted as she got up from her seat as her husband spouted the freshly drunk coffee right on her face.

"Sorry." Vin's father immediately got up and wiped Veronika's face with the tissue on the table.

Vin walked slowly on a quiet street that was not so wide. Where on the left there is a soccer field that is quite wide surrounded by a wire fence with a height of approximately 2.5 meters. While on his right stood some shops that are still in a closed state.

He stopped his steps and his eyes fell on the four young men hanging out not far from where he was, probably about 20 meters away.

They are the brutes who always hang out in that place. Young men without jobs whose work is always blackmailing those who pass by in the street.

Vin could have taken another path and avoided the hoodlums. But that way, he had to turn far enough to the bus stop. Avoidance is not Vin's nature. Despite being small and thin, Vin is a brave man. He never avoids trouble, he will never run away from a fight. Although in the end he will end up battered.

Vin stepped closer to the hoodlums. One of them who was scruffy turned his head and while standing he was joking. "Friends, let's see who's coming." His friends looked over and smiled.

A few seconds later Vin was already facing them. "Go away, you stand in my way."

"HA HA HA," the bandits laughed out loud at Vin's words.

"PLAQUE!" Instantly a punch landed on his head from a bald-headed hoodlum. "Had been beaten many times still pretending. Just give me your money and we'll let you go."

"Just go to hell" replied Vin.

"HECK!" A punch landed on Vin's stomach shortly after he finished with his words. And followed by a few more hits. Vin tried to fight back but he got even more hits. He fell down and held his stomach which hurt.

"Enough, enough," said the bald-headed brat who seemed to be his boss. "Search and get the money."

They ransacked Vin's body, took out his pocket, his bag and took off his shoes. But they found nothing.

"There is no boss. It seemed like he did not have any money," one of them said to the bald-headed man.

"Yes let him go."

Vin left the place while returning to his shoes and riding a bus. The bus runs at a moderate speed down the streets that are getting crowded by passing vehicles and people who will go to work.

A few minutes later the bus stopped at a stop not far from Vin's school. Vin got off with the other passengers and walked to his school.

Not long after that he reached the gate of his school, walked through a large field and climbed the stairs to his class on the second floor.

But again he had to deal with something unpleasant. Three children who often bully him at school are seen sitting in the hallway leading to his class.

Vin looked at them for a moment, and so did they. Then slowly Vin walked up to them.

"PLAQUE!" The tall and big boy hit his head.

Vin looked at him angrily, intending to fight back. But he undoed that intention, because he no longer wanted to be beaten. There were enough of them beating him today and his body was in a lot of pain. He left the laughing children behind him.

One day, I will repay you all. Everything was. Inner Vin.

The atmosphere that night was very bright. The moon shone brightly and the breeze blew over Vin's face as he walked home from his part-time job at about 11 p.m.

Indeed, after school he always worked part-time keeping one of the mini markets in the area located not far from where he lived.

Working part-time like that he has been doing since he was 7 years old, because he could not rely on his father who never gave him money.

After walking for about 15 minutes, he arrived at his home. Vin felt very relieved when he saw two unexpected people in the house were not there. She hoped they would never return to the house forever.

Vin entered the room. Lose her exhausted body. His eyes are heavy. But Vin didn't want to close his eyes. Because if he closed his eyes, the morning would come quickly and everything would repeat itself like a spinning wheel.

Like a spinning wheel. Perhaps for others the phrase means that one day we will be at the bottom and another moment we will be at the top. But for Vin the phrase means we will go through the same days every day and go back to where we were before. Repeatedly, repeatedly and repeatedly.

But Vin couldn't help his sleepiness. His eyes began to close. He hoped he would not wake up again the next day. Don't wanna wake up again.

"Teak tek." The clockwork sounds are approaching the number 12.

"Teng teng teng!" The middle room clock sounds indicating it is 12 o'clock exactly.

Suddenly Vin's body shone, emitting a bright red colored light that illuminated his entire room. The objects in the room floated and eventually fell scattered on the floor along with the loss of light in Vin's body.
