HATRED

HATRED
Even the Trash

A dim light illuminated the room in a large house. Four middle-aged men were seen sitting around a large table in the room. It seems they are talking about something very serious.

"Say sure that it was a descendant of Abraham's family" said a man of medium stature.

"Could it be Bastian?" ask the big man.

"Somehow, it could be him, his descendants or his relatives," added the medium-bodied male again.

"Whoever he is, we must find him" said the clean-faced man.

"I can no longer, my body is now sick. I am not as healthy as you are" said the man of medium stature.

"Thunder is right, we should leave this matter to our children. It's time for them to carry on what has been our duty all along" said the tall man, "Adrian, you'd better call them."

"Alright," said the clean-faced man as he rose to the door of the room.

The man opened the door and saw three children waiting outside the room who were none other than Alisa, Arya and Gilang.

"Come in, we'd like to talk to you guys, please,"

They enter the room following Alisa's father.

"Can we leave this task to you? As you know, we are too old to carry out this task again" Guntur said.

"I'll do it Father" replied Gilang.

"Aryan?" ask the big man.

"Sure Dad" Arya replied.

Adrian looked at Alisa.

"I will try my best" said Alisa.

"Sandra will also help, I will meet her after coming home from here" said the tall man.

"Would we go home now, my old body was already very tired. Come on, " said Thunder.

"Then we will also go home, come Arya," said the big man.

They also went out of the room leaving a tall man and Adrian.

"I'm sorry Dad, Uncle," said Alisa to them.

"How's Lily doing now?" ask the tall man Adrian.

"I don't recognize him anymore" said Adrian.

"Don't be too hard on him, he's still a kid." The man patted his friend on the shoulder and left the room.

"William," called Adrian to the tall man, "what should I do?"

William paused for a moment then turned his head and said, "Maybe affection can make him change."

William passed leaving Adrian speechless to hear his words. Upon reaching the front door, his body disappeared changing with a bluish light that shot upwards.

Flickering car lights reading "POLISI" appear to illuminate a region overgrown by wild grass around it. Some police officers were seen working on something downstream.

A short time later, a black car stopped and a young woman got out of the car rushing to a location.

"Where?" ask the woman to a policeman.

"There" a policeman replied, taking the woman somewhere.

The woman paused for a moment when she saw a corpse of a woman curled up in the bushes.

The woman approached him, observing the corpse's face. The face of the corpse was very young, maybe around 19 or 20 years old.For a moment the woman examined the body of the body of the poor woman. Then he went around the area.

"Take him to the hospital, I want his autopsy results on my desk as soon as possible."

The police also brought the body of the poor woman.

"Who first discovered it?" ask the woman to a policeman.

"He's there, I'll take him there,"

The woman also met a middle-aged man dressed in shabby clothes and a dirty body.

The woman extended her hand to the man. "Did you know my name is Sandra. I'm the detective who's gonna handle this case." The man shook Sandra's hand for a moment.

"Who is Father's name?"

"I'm Udin buk."

"Pak Udin can tell you how you found the victim's body? I know you have told my colleagues, but I want to listen to the words from the Father directly."

"Look this Buk," Udin began his story, "As usual, I was hanging out in the street and kept peeing and then I went into the bushes. When I was peeing, I saw something in the distance, because I was curious to approach. Uh. it turned out to be a dead body, and I just kept running and screaming, keep people on coming."

"So you're still in the middle of the night?"

"Yes Buk, how else. Nighttime mouth alone is still not enough to meet the needs of the family. My son's five buk and all it costs."

"Well," said Sandra, "When you found the body, you saw someone else there?"

"Don't know I'm Buk, I ran away when I saw the body, I didn't look anywhere."

"alright. Then may I have your address?"

"Why Buk, will I be arrested? I can't go home."

"No sir, maybe we need additional information from you later."

"If you remember anything, please call me at this number." Sandra gave me her card.

Udin hurried to leave the scene.

"Wait for Sir." Sandra chased Udin into her pocket and gave him something.

Udin looked at the amount of money in his hand. "This is what Buk is?"

"To buy food for your children."

"Thank you Buk, thank you" Udin said, kissing Sandra's hand.

"Together Sir, equally," said Sandra feeling bad.

Udin also left Sandra with a happy face because tomorrow he can provide good food for his children.

"Always generous," came the voice of someone behind Sandra. Sandra turned her head and saw a man standing there.

"Heru, why are you here?"

"Just look around."

"Tumben alone where's Gibran?"

"He went home and slept with his wife. That's how good it is to have a wife."

Sandra was silent, today she was not willing to respond to Heru's jokes.

"Murder again?"

"That's how, a very young woman."

"Caused by death?"

"I'll see, I'll have to wait for the autopsy results first" Sandra said. "What about your case?"

"No progress, the only surviving witness was also killed last night."

"For sure it's revenge, just check the people they've hurt."

"I think you're right, there's too much they hurt. Even the people in the neighborhood were grateful for their deaths." Sandra smiled at Heru's words.

"Where are you going now? Want to go home together?" ask Heru.

"I brought my own car, it looks like I'm going back to the office. There's still a lot to do."

"Go home and sleep, you need rest."

"I can't sleep until I finish my job" Sandra said.

"Yes, I'll see you in the office tomorrow."

Heru drove his car and waved at Sandra before leaving.

"He's a good man huh."

"Oh." Sandra flinched when suddenly a tall middle-aged man was already standing beside her.

"Well, could you please come and not!" scream Sandra.

William chuckled at the sight of his pouting daughter.

"Where do you know I'm here?"

"Where's the matter there must be you, right?" answer William. "Murder again?"

"Yes, a young woman."

"It seems like the world will never be at peace" William sighed.

"As long as the bad guys are alive in this world, the world will never be at peace" Sandra said.

"What kind of evil person is that?"

"What do you mean you ask like that? Of course the one who hurt others, the one who took the life of others."

"Yes, I think you're right" William said.

"Why did you come here, by the way?"

"It seems like Abraham's family is acting out. Arya, Alisa and Gilang are investigating, you better help them no matter what our responsibility is."

"What's he doing?"

"The murder of the young men that took place a few days ago."

"You mean the thugs' father, so that was Abraham's family?"

"We are not sure yet, according to witnesses who survived before he was killed, they were attacked by Ghosts. Ghosts are synonymous with the power possessed by the Abrahamic family that can make their bodies invisible. Then Gilang found in his school there was the school of Abraham's family. So it could be him."

"Maybe they deserve to die" Sandra said, "there are too many people they have hurt. Many times I've seen them go in and out of prison but they're not deterred."

William looked at Sandra and said, "Then the murderer is a good man, even if he takes the life of someone else?"

Sandra was silent at the words of her father.

"We sometimes cannot tell which is good and which is bad. Good and bad are just human perceptions. When someone feels benefited by an event, then he will say it is good. But when a person is harmed by an event, then he will say it is bad."

"I don't understand what you mean" said Sandra.

"You don't have to understand. But one thing is certain," William held his son's shoulder and looked at him intently, "killing is killing even if it is rubbish."
