HATRED

HATRED
Bastian

Vin was arranging the goods in the mini market into their respective shelves when he felt someone opened the door so slowly that it made the bells on the door not ring.

Vin immediately docked to the wall and looked at the knife in the mini market. Instantly the knives were hovering around him as if making a shield.

“I came in peace,” instantly heard the voice of a man.

“Jessie,” furious Vin. “How dare you come here. Do you really want to die.”

“Come on, I said I came in peace."

“No word peace!” vin yelled a knife at Jessie's voice.

“GEDUBRAK.” The shelves swayed and dropped the items inside as if they were hit by something.

“What are you crazy!” shout Jessie. “Do you really want to kill me!”

“Didn't you want to kill me!” Knives flew back and stuck everywhere.

“As if I had no intention of killing you,” Jessie said, “I just wanted to teach you a lesson because you already humiliated me in front of the kids back then.”

“Where did you know it was me?” ask Vin.

“That time, when you were bullied by Hendi, I intended to help you but suddenly I saw the pot hovering itself. Then, you were there when I played basketball. Therefore, I am sure that it is you,” explained Jessi.

“Krincing.” A man enters the mini market. They also stopped the conversation.

Vin rushes to the cashier table to serve the customer. “Thank you, come back,” Vin said before the customer left.

Vin rushed back to the corner and fortified himself with dozens of knives.

“Jessie, are you still here?” ask Vin.

“I'm still here,” Jessie replied. “Can you lower those knives? I told you I came in peace.”

“You think I believe you, in a murderer like you?”

“What do you mean?” ask Jessie.

“You killed those thugs right?”

“Isn't that you?” Jessie accused Vin.

“Do not origin accuse you,” says vin.

“Didn't you accuse me first,” Jessie replied.

“Then what do you want? Why are you here?” ask Vin.

“I want us to forget what happened, I want us not to disturb each other anymore.

“The injury is good,” Vin said. “But where do I know that you will not attack me suddenly like you did?”

“I won't do it, I promise,” Jessie said. “So, put those knives down.”

“Alright, I'll lower it but show you first.”

“I can't,” Jessie said.

“Why can't it? You intend to attack me secretly right?”

“NOT THAT STUPID!” yelled Jessie annoyed.

“How dare you call me stupid,” growled Vin. “Don't expect you to get out of this place safely before you show yourself.”

“Alright,” says Jessie. “We'd better get to the back.”

“Why go back? Why not just here?”

“SHAME!" shout Jessi. "Follow it.”

Vin went to the back by continuing to close his body to the wall and fortify himself with a knife. The door to the back room opened itself, it seemed Jessie opened it.

“Come in,” says Jessie.

“You'll attack me there right?" said Vin who really does not believe in Jessie.

“No, I will not attack you. I swear, I swear by all the good looks I have.”

“It was quite convincing,” Vin said.

“SIIIALL!” vin shouted as he looked at Jessie's body naked. The body disappeared again.

“You've seen my body, right? So now we are at peace,” Jessie said.

“Why don't you wear clothes?”

“Because I can't make it disappear with my body" Jessie replied.

“Once,” says Vin.

“I'm curious,” says Jessie, “where do you know that I attacked you at that time?”

Vin smiled, of course he knew that the one who attacked him was Jessie. Because Jessie was unaffected when Alisa hypnotized her and instead followed Alisa.

“Because you were hit by my knife that time. Then I saw you always holding your stomach. I'm just guessing, it's true,” said Vin who did not want to tell about Alisa.

“So.”

“Caused,” Vin said later. “The knife that killed the thugs floated by itself, because you couldn't make it disappear with your body right?”

“I told you I didn't kill them,” Jessie was upset.

“Stop bye,” Vin. “I don't care either. From now on we don't have to bother each other."

Jessie turned back to her body and walked over to Vin. He stretched out his hand, Vin accepted. Then Jessie said, “We keep our secrets."

Gilang walked up the stairs to his father's room on the second floor. Before long, he came to a door and knocked on it.

“What's up?” asked Thunder as Gilang entered.

“We failed Dad,“ said Gilang. “So he showed up again at school but we failed to catch him.”

“Not your fault, the Abraham family is indeed very difficult to catch.” Thunder put the book he read back into the shelf, “even until now we can not catch it.”

“Who do you mean Dad?”

Thunder sat slowly on a chair and leaned his back. “Name Bastian. Back then Dad, his Dad Alisa and his Dad Arya befriended him in High School.”

“She's a very nice person, she always helps oppressed children in school. Every day he talks about peace, truth and justice."

Thunder took his breath for a moment and then continued his story. “After graduating high school, he decided to become a police officer with the aim of capturing all criminals and creating peace on this earth.”

Thunder looked at Gilang. “But you know, creating peace on earth is impossible.”

“A few years passed, strange events began to appear. Many people suddenly die horribly and the culprit is never found.”

“As a cop, William investigates him and feels suspicious of his junior named Bastian. Therefore, William asked Adrian to ask this to Bastian.”

“We also met Bastian and Bastian did not feel suspicious at all because we are old friends.”

“And it turned out to be true, after Adrian questioned him, Bastian admitted everything. Bastian says that he is a descendant of Abraham and he was forced to kill those people because he could not prove their crimes.”

“We tried to catch him but suddenly his body disappeared and we couldn't find him until now.”

“Could he be the one behind all this? Who killed those thugs?” ask Gilang.

“Come,” replied Thunder. “But the Abrahamic family is a lot. There's his brother, his sister, his son, his grandson, his cousin, just like us. So she can be anyone.”

Thunder stood up and picked up a book. Then he looked at Gilang who seemed hesitant to say anything.

"What's wrong?"

"I just want to know, if we manage to catch that guy, can you forgive him?” ask Gilang.

“Why are you asking like that?”

“Because he has helped me many times.” replied Gilang.

Thunder paused for a moment then said, “If he realizes his mistake and promises not to repeat his deed again, then we will forgive him.”

“I am so relieved,” said Gilang. "Then, I'll excuse Father.” Gilang left Thunder with a smile.

“But the thing is, they will never realize their mistake." Inner Thunder.
