He Who Came Among Us

"Why is Garth here?" I was still thinking, not yet out of my place.

"They'll fight back."

Panic ran through my mind, as fast as lightning I inched down from the bed, swinging my pace as quickly as possible after my husband.

The first room I went to was his office. When Soka was standing at the door, special guard so that no one would barge in.

"Open," I ordered a little harshly. Soka listened to my voice.

"Open the door" I shouted. Soka just glanced at me.

"Madam, sir doesn't want to be disturbed" he said very calmly, without expression. His body remained silent without reacting.

It's a man or a robot, I thought.

"Soka, let me in. Before someone got hurt inside." I snapped, who had lost patience in panic.

Soka took a step forward, making me tremble, requiring me to retreat from where I was. Her incredible calm gave me strong intimidation.

"It is better to wait patiently. Rest assured master will not act anarchist," he suggested in a soft voice but the word he put out was enough to make me shudder in horror.

I give up, waiting is the best option right now. The displeasure of my mind caused me to walk pacing in front of the tightly shut door.

Meanwhile behind the door, 2 gallant men were staring intently, judging and observing. Both are emotional, ready to explode.

The two are now sitting across. Topaz's haughty attitude was demonstrated by crossing his arms in front of his chest.

Instead, Garreth sat quietly unaffected by the interlocutor in front of him.

"What's here for? As far as I know you're not needed here," insisted Topaz rudely.

Garreth's cynical smile, "I hear you need a bodyguard for Miss?"

"Mrs," Topaz. A fierce look was shown so that his opponent retreated, unfortunately it was even replied Garreth without being hidden.

"What do you mean by hidden?"

Garreth just smiled amusedly hearing it, "nothing. Just need a job. You know I just resigned, so I'm begging you" she said.

"I think working at Rosewood is best for you."

"My dad can handle it, trust me. You need a guard here, right! To the madam," he said.

"Yes. But not you, not a man but a woman," he explained fending off his innuendo.

"Ooh! But you have to accept me" he replied.

"For what?"

"Because of your mistress."

The rarity came out of Topaz's mouth. His brown eyeballs looked at the friendly man in front of him.

Too relaxed, Topaz thought inwardly.

"Tell me your reason, it might be my consideration."

Pause for a moment, Garreth thought of compiling his words so that they could be accepted by Topaz. Topaz was impatient until he spoke again.

"Go home. I don't need you now, tomorrow or later." he said.

Topaz turned to his desk, a feeling of annoyance now enveloping him.

Garreth just laughed, "hey, the thing is your mistress has agreed to me working here" he replied confidently.

Topaz did not turn his head towards him, casually leaning himself on his large table staring at the horizon at the large window in front of him.

"Omong empty," hardiknya.

"Ask him if you don't believe."

Grossly flung his body on a high chair made of soft leather.

"Soka," he shouted.

From outside the door came a scream Topaz called out to Soka. I who had been pacing back and forth was immediately stunned, shocked by the sound of his screams.

Soka prepared to enter, I who could not wait to ambush him, before entering inside.

Topaz looked up to see me scrambling ahead of Soka. "What are you doing here, baby?" The voice that Topaz made was so upset that I was a bit reluctant to approach him.

I turned my gaze towards Garreth who was sitting quietly.

What's in his brain now! Didn't know that he caused me trouble.

"It looks like your return has conquered him to follow you." His hand pointed at Garret but his gaze was fixed on me.

"Hubby, i.... "

"Don't explain anything" he jolted.

Garreth did not accept his harsh words until he got up, walked quickly towards him. The buzz on the table caused me to run towards Garreth.

"Can you be gentle with him" he shouted. The hospitality on his face had now changed in anger.

"Garth, please. Hold your emotions," I pleaded. "You better go home" I added.

The smile of victory was plastered on Topaz's face, he felt superior because the wife was more defending him.

"You heard what he said" he said arrogantly. "Go home" Topaz spoke as if he were spelling it, confirming his point.

Garreth paid no heed to my request, Topaz's words had ignited embers of emotion in his heart, which he had been holding up.

Garreth turned to me, my pleading gaze upon him. Unfortunately, emotions clouded his eyes.

A second later Garreth reached the spot where Topaz was sitting and grabbed his clothes. Forcibly pulling his body up from the chair he was in.

"Garth.

Soka ran holding Garreth's hand with all her might. While Topaz looked haughtily at Garreth who was clutching his clothes.

"Is this how you negotiate applying for a job?" hinaanya, "barbar," he continued with ridicule.

Topaz did not fight both his hands were in his pants pocket. Soka tried desperately to hold Garreth's hand.

"Garth is enough" I pleaded. Neither did Garreth.

Topaz brought his mouth closer to Garreth's ear and whispered, "look at his pleading face. You don't feel sorry for him? Go home Garth, he's not on your side" he whispered, full of poison.

As soon as Garreth raised his fist, Soka could not anticipate his movements, until Topaz fell into his chair.

I covered my mouth with both of my hands frantically watching Garreth's rude action on Topaz.

"What are you doing" I cried emotionally.

Topaz held the bloody tip of his lips, "cheek!" his taunting from where he fell.

Anxiety lured me to push Garreth's body away from Topaz, even though Soka was already the antidote between the two.

Garreth did not accept my attitude of defending him, "you defend him? This jerk, who's been yelling at you rudely."

"He's my husband." I put up a body for Topaz who was looked down upon by Garreth.

"Miss you've been consumed by her seduction. He's a fraud, a jerk and you'll regret choosing him. Sacrificing everything that should be yours. You can live free, not live your life with this jerk," he said.

Garreth ruffled his hair, frustrated with my attitude that concerned him.

From where Topaz was sitting, he sent a message through the movement of his lips that Garreth caught, "Loser."

A mocking smile of his defeat, painted on his cold face. Garreth's anger, which can no longer be controlled, so he vented hitting the wall with his fists.

I was stunned watching this action. My legs can't move, trembling like a paralytic. My voice choked unable to scream to stop the action.

Topaz looked at my body. Some great tremors especially in my legs and hands. Topaz closed my eyes with his hands.

"Stop, you scared my wife" Topaz said.

Topaz turned my body to face him, clutching me into his arms.

Garreth turned his gaze back, the action immediately stopped seeing my tiny body tremble.

"Soka delivered this barbarian home," said Topaz who still hugged me. "I don't want to, my wife is getting scared of her actions" he continued.

Garreth threw out Soka's hand while holding her body to drag her outside.

"I won't be home until I get this job" he said in a shrill voice.

"You don't see how scared my wife is right now. Your attitude is poor, unethical. Your actions can harm my wife" fierce Topaz.

"Miss," Garreth called out in a hearty tone, "I won't ignore you anymore. I will prove it through this work. You have to help me" she said a little desperately.

I still don't budge in Topaz's arms. Unable to look Garreth in the eye. Can't choose either.

Do it or refuse it!. Both are like blades, making me turn my brain.
