"Soka, hurry and get her out!" bentak Topaz's. In his arms felt the turmoil of his exploding anger. I saw blood coming from the tear on the tip of his mouth.
I bow my hand gently rubbing the corner of her lip that was hurt by Garreth's punch.
"Hubby." call me weak. Topaz only glanced at me at a glance, then his gaze returned to the figure of the man on his side.
How do I stop this fight? Think brain.
Slowly I let go of the strong hand that hugged my waist, my movements noticed by it. After I got his attention, I finally ventured to speak.
"Hubby, let me talk to him," a displeased look on his face, I hurriedly corrected my sentence.
"I mean, we talked together to find a solution well!" softly said.
His sharp gaze and unfriendly countenance signified his disapproval of my words.
"Say you're an ethical person, look at how you take care of a truly uncivilized guest" a provocation continued by Garreth that now infuriates me.
What the hell are you thinking? I tried to save you before the bouncer came. The screams of my heart.
"Stop talking, Garth," I said. Topaz's laughter exploded hearing my anger towards Garreth.
"Let him go" he told Soka, "because my wife asked. Let's sit down and chat with more civilized." Add it with a thick insulting tone aimed at Garreth.
"Take Soka, Zephyr Wine. It seems suitable for lowering emotions," he told Soka, within seconds Soka passed away.
Topaz hugged my shoulder towards the sofa. My surprise added that when he asked me to sit on his lap, his behavior managed to paint a red hue on my face.
"Why still stand there, sit down!" she nodded with a firm voice.
A glint of anger was still reflected in Garreth's eyes, although the look on his face was slightly calmer. The look in her eyes that were laid out for me made me not dare to look at her.
"Tell me what you want to talk about."
My mind hesitated when I put it forward. "uhm, can hubby accept him as my driver?"
His jaw instantly clenched, his fist revealing a greenish vein.
Ruby Aih! You woke up a lion that would pounce on you for a moment.
The silence was broken by Soka who came in to bring wine. The clink of a glass with a bottle of wine when poured, creating its own music amid the chaos that hit the three of us.
Since there were no further orders from her master, Soka left the room without saying a word.
On the other hand, the wrath graced the look on Topaz's face, which was now imprinted in the lens of my eyes while looking at him, sending regret to my foolish decision.
Garreth noticed my anxiety, his body was on alert when something bad was done by Topaz.
Long silence still going on, I'm still waiting for the answer. Garreth only observed the situation, no longer daring to act recklessly.
"Say your excuse?"he said with a gurgle of teeth holding back his emotions at my request.
A shadow of doubt came to my mind. One side I'm afraid something bad happened to Garreth. After knowing how terrible it was when he had been angry.
Save Garret or not at all. The whisper in my heart told me to choose.
"I need a driver until my late father's will is done" I explained. My words stammered and nervously attacked me.
"You have Soka" he said.
"He's your assistant" I argued. The discomfort with Soka affected me, especially when she picked me up earlier.
The probing gaze from him created a sense of trepidation within me. "I'm looking for a bodyguard for you" Topaz told me of his plan.
"Garreth was able to do that" I argued a second time.
Hearing my firm and quick reply, added to her bravery.
"Omong empty," hardiknya. His voice was loud pressing his ears.
He violently pushed my body from his lap onto the sofa.
Aw....
My peek was shocked at the movement of the sponge.
Garreth didn't accept his treatment of me. "Can you be polite!" His impact.
"Should I be polite!" his jolt was now picking up the documents from his desk. He threw the document at the table in front of me. "Pick what you like."
Confusion struck me as I glanced at the documents lying on the table. A part of the page has been opened, showing photos and captions.
"Your bodyguard candidate" he explained.
Without me seeing the contents I again pleaded, "just as a driver."
Topaz stood haughty with a glassy waist looking down at us in turn. "The person in the document already has qualifications, Ruby."
"It doesn't suit me yet" I replied slowly.
"You're too picky then," he sneered.
"Please hubby," please me gently.
Garreth didn't like watching me beg him.
"Already miss he's a narrow-minded man who can't possibly accept me." The humiliation in his speech was addressed in return for his treatment of me.
"What did you say?"
As fast as Topaz was ready to hit Garreth, thanks to the agility of my instincts I managed to prevent it, by standing in their midst.
"Hubby this problem will not be solved if you continue like this" I said trembling.
"Want I have to accept it without consideration?"
"What do you need? Her cooperation, work experience, her personal cv. He was just a driver to me. No more, until the will is completed" I promise.
"Your reasons don't make sense. Why do you need a driver now? What secrets are you hiding from me?" inquiringly.
I was stunned for a moment, thinking of a logical answer for him. To be free from his suspicions.
"I told you to take care of my late father's will. That's all!"
"Soka has always been with you" he replied.
My decision was wrong, my father said. The Garreth in his heart.
Topaz looked at Garreth cynically past the top of my head. Heading my arm violently, his shock caused my body to be pushed forward, crashing into his body.
Topaz put his hand on my hip. His every move was aimed at teasing Garreth.
"Go home, we'll talk tomorrow. I had to bring my wife to the event" he explained arrogantly.
Garreth's gaze was on me, I turned to him, gave the code by closing my eyes slowly so that Garreth followed his will.
"Go." I open my mouth without making a sound.
"All right, I'll come back tomorrow. At 9," he promised.
There was no reply from Topaz, only his lips were raised, scoffing at Garreth to leave us immediately.
Get ready Ruby, the rampage must be overwhelming. I said in my heart.
Garreth walked backwards while continuing to pay attention to me. His face looked sad as his figure closed the door, which left only me and Topaz.
After Garret left, Topaz took her hand off me, and dropped her body onto the sofa. His hand massaging his forehead a sign of his frustration has not gone away.
"Speak."
I kept watching him. Through slow movements, I gathered before him.
Pulling his hand that covered his face that looked chaotic. I may be waiting for him to look at me.
My gentle caress to her hand managed to melt her emotions. Topaz opened his eyes, looking at me.
"I'm sorry" I said sadly. "I'm worried that Hubby did something bad to Garreth. Uncle Eldred is my parents as well," I was obviously nervous as I held back my tears.
"I really need him as a driver. Not every day or every week, just when I get back to Rosewood."
He lifted my body to accompany him by his side when I ended my story.
"Is that why you defended her in front of me?"
I did not dare to make a sound, so I replaced the answer with a nod of the head.
My head is bowed in lethargy. The look of regret was clearly drawn on my face. Tears have been heavy in my eyes, trying to keep me from falling.
"Let me think" he said later.
There was a sense of relief when Topaz said it. But I still dare not look at him. My face was still down, only his fingers were what I looked at.
When his fingers were raised onto my chin, I automatically followed his movements until it stopped right in front of his face.
A tear fell on my cheek, the touch of her delicate fingers wiping away my tears as fast as lightning.
"Don't cry. I'm not mad at you."
We looked at each other, looking at each inch of the face until it finally locked onto each other's lips.
"As a result of that jerk, I don't get to make out with my wife" he said. I smiled and heard it.
"Gombali. Hubby yelled at me."
"Because you always defied me."
Turtle corner of his mouth that was hit by Garreth's fist, "thank you not against him."
"I don't want you to be sad."
"illness?" my many.
"No, just as you kissed me." God with a spoiled voice.
For a moment I lifted my body by propping it on my knee so that it could reach his lips. Just about to touch his lips, suddenly the door opened.
"Ups! Mama's bothering you guys apparently." I immediately shifted my position away from him.
Esmerald left a gap in the door, "continue, mama can wait."
Now Esmerald was laughing as he looked at the door. It's so tightly closed.
We both looked at each other, then laughed together.
"Go see Mama, she has a surprise for you" he told her.
My eyes sparkled at the words of surprise.I am now like a child running free chasing after mama Esmerald.
Before I open the door, I go back to him. Peeping her sweet lips, Topaz did not miss the opportunity I gave her.
She swept her wet lips, to my lips without covering up the turmoil. Every touch of it shook my soul, to the point of not being able to resist it.
With a heavy heart, I pushed his body to end this activity. A little sad but I have to do it before he goes on to another stage.
Her fingers rubbed my lips, like she didn't want to take them off. "Don't wait for mama to wait long."
I forced myself to move away from him, even if I didn't want to. I still miss the hugs and warmth.
It's your fault, Garreth, I can't hold her any longer. My grunts in my heart.
Fortunately, his anger soon subsided.A moment earlier in my mind flashed, Garreth would be wretched if I did not defend him.
I shuddered in horror at the man-murder he was doing in this room. The shadow always stuck in my heart. How cruel he is.
My daydream was cut off when his voice spoke. "Call Soka." He said when I reached the door.
I smiled when I left him. Soka was still faithfully waiting behind the door.
"Hubby, calling you," I said.
At a glance the look of his robot face changed, there was anxiety implied from the radiance of his eyes.
When I was about to ask, he was gone, going in to see his master.
Topaz stood stiffly leaning against his desk. His hand held a glass of wine, which was already half gone. His face expressed his anger.
"Is there anything you didn't report to me Soka?"
