Helper Pervishes
Chapter 6. Deeds That Produce Results.

By late afternoon Utari had arrived in Surabaya. He returned to work as a part-time employee of a beauty salon. He will work from 4 pm to 10 pm to fill free time in the middle of his college activities.

That night at work, Jessie and Rayhan were waiting for Utari in front of the Salon. It has become their custom almost every night to come pick up Utari and take her to dinner. The three friends lived like a family. They will love each other and take care of each other.

“Tar,” call Jessie while waving her hand.

Utari walked quickly towards the black car parked on the side of the road.

“You know I'm here?” ask Utari. As far as Utari knew, he had not told them that he had returned from Jakarta.

“Feeling,” Jessie said.

“Kayak dukun aja,” murmured Rayhan from behind the wheel.

“Dih, let's say. No feeling at all!?” sahut Jessie with a cynical look towards the rearview mirror.

“Hmm, start again. I don't like it if someone fights,” Utari wants his two friends who are indeed able to argue. Jessie the spoiled rich boy and Rayhan the independent and passionate man fighting.

“You heard the words yourself just now? She does not know me shaman?” jessie protests.

“Well, did I mention your name?” sahut Rayhan from behind the wheel.

“Ssssshhhhhhttt silent, otherwise stop mendingan I come down here!” gertak Utari's.

The atmosphere in the car became silent for a moment. Utari's face stared out the window, her eyes glaring at the darkness of the night. At that time he was reluctant to think much because of his fear.

Until dinner is over, Jessie and Rayhan are still yummy. It seems like their quarrel is not a trivial thing.

A month passed. Jessie and Rayhan's relationship is becoming increasingly strained. They never even met each other. When Utari is with Jessie, Rayhan will not come, and vice versa.

Until one morning, the three of them met in a visual multimedia class. The unavoidable encounter left Jessie and Rayhan sitting together.

“Jess, Ray, you can't be like a kid. No one wants to give up anyway? Let's get better,” Utari pulled Jessie and Rayhan's hands to shake each other.

Despite shaking, Jessie and Rayhan's faces did not look at each other.

“No let go, it seems their problem is not a trivial problem. I must do something,” muttered Utari in her heart.

After school he took the two friends to their canteen and began interrogating the two friends.

“Jess, what's the problem? You too Ray, why?” Utari stared at the faces of her two best friends.

“You ask Jess, she will get married but does not want to share the story with us,” said Rayhan who finally gave up due to the sharp gaze of Utari.

“Bener Jess you will marry?” ask Utari.

Jessie nodded while manyuning.

“With whom?” tanya Utari who is now starting to be curious.

“With the son of papa's best friend,” replied Jessie, an increasingly sour face. “I don't want to keep it a secret. I myself am still thinking of ways not to marry papa.”'s chosen man

“You don't want to marry that guy?” ask Utari.

“He doesn't love the man,” added Rayhan.

“If you don't like it will stay a protest to your parents,” Utari said. He finally remembered the purpose of bringing his two friends there was to reconcile them. “Why do you guys fight just because of this trivial thing?” ask Utari again.

“He doesn't love the man but has to get married this year, so I suggest he marry the one he loves. It's natural right?” Rayhan.

“But who? So I asked him to introduce me to a nice guy he knew, uh I was sprayed,” Jessie added.

“To ask someone he doesn't know to marry isn't it really?” rayhan.

“See he's getting rough. I only suggest that finding a man he knows is hard?!” Rayhan.

Utari who stood between her two best friends began to listen to the quarrel between them. What are the two fools talking about? He himself does not understand.

Suddenly Utari's vision began to darken, he began to lose balance and fell drooping in front of Jessie and Rayhan.

Both of his friends were shocked. They rushed Utari to the nearest hospital.

After arriving at the hospital, Utari was immediately followed up in the emergency room. Several doctors were sent to treat Utari.

“How is my best friend doc?” jessie asked one of the doctors who had just finished examining Utari.

“Tension, heart rate and oxygen levels in his blood are normal, so it is clearer we wait for the results of the lab examination,” said the doctor.

Jessie stared pushyly at Rayhan. “Utari must have fainted because of you. Try earlier you were not angry,” sergeant Jessie.

“I? Isn't it you who started yelling first?” Rayhan tried to defend himself.

A little quarrel still continues between Jessie and Rayhan. Even with a small voice, the speech and arguments still continue to occur.

Until Utari realized and interrupted their commotion at that time.

“You guys when will it be peaceful? Can't you calm down a little? You guys are fighting for useless things! Why aren't you the only ones getting married?”

Jessie and Rayhan stood bowed down accompanied by faces of regret.

“Sorry Tar, because of us you passed out,” Jessie said.

“So you guys can be peaceful now?” ask Utari. “Sini.” He brought their hands closer. As he held his best friend's hands for a long time, he had no intention of releasing them until a doctor arrived in the room.

“Patient?” Sapa the doctor then looked at Jessie and Rayhan.

“What's the result doc?” ask Rayhan.

“You're her husband?” ask the doctor. “Congratulations, your wife is pregnant now.”

Utari stunned the view staring at the sky white colored room sky. Did the doctor just say she was pregnant or did she just mishear?

“Pregnant doc?” ask Jessie who was also in shock.

“Iya, Utari mbak content age about 5 weeks,” replied the doctor.

Speech that can not be wrong again in the ear Utari.

“I will give you a prescription vitamin to support the health of the mother and fetus. Furthermore, prospective mothers can routinely control to the obstetrician yes,” said the doctor.

“Good dock thank you,” Jessie replied to the doctor who is now starting to move out of the room.

Utari turned around and closed her eyes. A thread of tears flowed down both of his cheeks.

“Things I did with Morgan are now paying off. How am I supposed to deal with this? What do people say? Will I give birth to a child without a husband? My son will be a son without a father. I don't think of consequences like this will happen.”
