HIDDEN WIFE

HIDDEN WIFE
Where is Mentari?

Jeff stared at some beautiful jewelry displayed in a display case. Almost thirty minutes the man was in the jewelry store to choose a ring that felt suitable to propose to the idol.

“It's also good, Sir!” A woman placed a beautiful jewelry box on a table containing a diamond ring with a size that for Jeff was quite large. The man suddenly remembered a famous lawyer who loved to collect diamonds.

“Do not this, Ma'am! Is it more simple but elegant?”

“There, Sir! A minute!” The woman walked towards another storefront and took out a ring from there. “This, Sir!”

Jeff stared at the ring, simple but very beautiful. Just like Mentari.

"Yes, I'm taking this."

The ring picking session is complete. The half-collar man rushed from the jewelry store to his car. He leaned back while staring at the small dark blue box in his hand.

Suddenly painful memories of the past return to revolve in memory.

"Now you have to move fast. Long ago succumbed to Mr. Azka, the present succumbed again to his sister."

It took Jeff thirty minutes to arrive at his apartment after a day of busy dealing with the boss's business. As soon as the door opened, the man was immediately greeted with a warm smile of a middle-aged woman.

"Home home, Jeff?" greet the woman.

"Yes, Mi," he answered with a look around as if looking for something.

Unlike usual, tonight Mentari is invisible in the television room. Though usually at this hour, he will accompany Mami Joanna to just chat or watch television shows.

Jeff took off his shoes and replaced them with home sandals. Walk through the television room to the kitchen. The sun is also invisible there. There was only one young woman who was cleaning the kitchen.

Mentari is still in the room.

He poured water into a glass and swallowed it. Then back to the television room where Mami Joanna was sitting. Crashing his body on a single sofa by crossing his legs. Don't forget his eyes that occasionally stare at the door of a room.

Jeff waited long enough. Immediately asked Mami Joanna also her prestige as high as the Himalayan Mountain. Because, the mother will certainly tease him as usual.

Why not come out. Is Mentari asleep?

"Mommy ..." Finally surrendered. Jeff called Mami Joanna after a long silence.

"Yes," replied the mother without turning her head because it was focused on TV.

"Why indeed?"

"Usually there is a Mentari who accompanies Mami watching TV. Where's it going, Mi?"

Getting that question made Mami Joanna look at him with furrowed brows. "Indeed you haven't been told the same Mentari?"

"Tell you what?" Jeff seemed confused, because he did not understand the direction of the mother's conversation.

"Loh, you think Mentari has your permission to go back to Surabaya? He said he wasn't good at staying here. Just two hours ago he left for the airport."

Jeff freezing. The shock made his tongue lock.

"Content away, Mi?"

"Yes. Mommy tried to stop him but he still wanted to leave. Mami thinks she told you."

Without waiting, Jeff got up. Snatched the car keys off the table and ran out.

Mentari stared at a flight ticket he had just bought a few minutes ago. Tonight, he decides to return to his hometown and start a new life. Leave behind all the bad memories of the past.

The girl walked with a step sucked because of the condition of her legs that had not healed properly. A stainless stick flanked between his armpits.

"This is my ticket, sir!" The long-haired girl showed her flight ticket to the airport attendant who was standing not far from the entrance.

On the other hand, Jeff just arrived at the airport and got straight out of the car. He did not even heed the cries of some people who were annoyed because Jeff parked the car carelessly, thus blocking other motorists.

The car keys he handed over to an airport parking attendant. Then run to the lobby.

"Start!" jeff shouted with a look of frustration. His gaze wandered among the sea of humans. Is Mentari among them?

His feet keep moving. His eyes scrutinized every long-haired girl he saw from behind. To see the figure of the girl who walked towards the entrance.

"Start!"
