It only took a week for the artisans to make a stall in front of Eric's house. Now Eric and his father have started a business by providing some cuisine.
The first day, Mr. Hendrik imposed a fifty percent discon to attract the attention of customers. A very strategic selling location makes the cuisine on the first day quickly ludes. Most people who live in the housing complex are office workers so there are only among those who do not have time to cook vegetables and side dishes.
"How's Dad, is the stall crowded?" asked Eric who had just returned from work. He didn't come home for lunch because there was a meeting at the office and they ate together.
"Yes son, Dad was even overwhelmed earlier because there were still people who came, while the materials were used up," said Mr. Hendrik happily.
Eric was also happy to hear his father's words.
"You better take a break, just sell during the day first!" eric's suggestion saw his father exhausted.
Mr. Hendrik followed his son's advice. He immediately closed the stall and went into the house to rest.
A few days later Mr. Hendrik seemed to be getting busy. Eric was so sorry to see his exhausted father he finally contacted Erika.
"Good night, Deck!"
"Good night, too, sister, tumben called?"
"When you go home to school tomorrow, you go home! Brother there is a need!"
"Ready, Brother!"
Erika was very happy to get a call from her brother. In the past, Eric would usually give him pocket money without the knowledge of his father and mother. Hence Erika was excited because she could again take a walk to Maal along with her gangmates.
"Call from whom?" asked her mother who had been watching her daughter smile after talking on the phone.
"Sister Eric, Mom, he asked me to come to his house tomorrow after school" said Erika with enthusiasm.
Elma's mother was pensive to hear Erika's words. He felt so guilty about Eric. Anna left because of her actions that were too ambitious to make Dewi as her daughter-in-law, but what happened, it was precisely the woman who had destroyed her household.
Since her husband left the house after he kicked her out, his income from his furniture business has plummeted because no one controls the workers anymore.
Elma's mother often seemed to sit alone contemplating her fate. Erika had caught her crying a few times but when she found out that there was Erika she pretended as if nothing had happened.
The next day after returning from school, Erika quickly changed her school uniform and told her mother. So excited, he didn't feel hungry.
He rode a motorcycle to his brother's house which only took a few minutes to pass.
Erika was astonished when her motorcycle entered her brother's yard because there was already a stall and there were also some visitors. Anna is selling.
Erika parked her bike and went inside the house but didn't see anyone.
He intends to contact Eric but just a call starts suddenly his older brother appears at the main door.
"Thank you for coming!"
"Kok, you never said Anna's sister was home?"
"Haaa, where is he! Where's wife?"
Eric was up in the fog and half ran to every room to look for his wife. Erika was even confused to see her brother's behavior.
"What's up, brother? Isn't there a food sales front? Yes, surely Brother's wife was there," Erika said making Eric's face look disappointed.
"Ahhh, this is you, making Brother ..," said Eric. He did not continue his words but took a deep breath and exhaled violently. His chest was still pounding because he thought that his wife and son were home.
"I mean Brother?" Erika was getting clueless.
"Now try to go to the stall and ask for two servings!"
"Dad! How come you're here?" asked Erika in surprise. He returned his father's embrace tightly. There is a sense of longing because it has been a few months never met.
"I'm sorry, son!" said mr. Hendrik.
"I'm sorry, Erika, because I never looked at my father in the hospital, the mother who forbade me to go there!"
"Dad understand, son,"
Both of them were crying without feeling uncomfortable with the full gaze asked the visitors who were eating.
After her crying subsided, Erika sat down on an empty chair. He was still shocked so he forgot his purpose of coming to the stall.
"Where's the food, Dek?" asked Eric who was approaching. Actually he had guessed with what was experienced by his brother because he did not expect that he would meet with his father in an unexpected place.
"Oh, yes, sister..but why didn't you ever say that you were here?" erika protested with a probing look.
"Ssttt, I'll explain, let's eat first because I want to go back to the office again!" take Eric. He served himself to fetch food because he saw his father was busy serving the buyers.
After saying goodbye to his father, the two came out of the shop and went into the house. Mr. Hendrik noticed the familiarity of his son while smiling happily and with enthusiasm he continued his work.
While enjoying his father's cooking, Eric occasionally looked at the face of his sister who was also eating voraciously. Chicken satay is a food paforitnya since long ago and of course Eric knew it so that earlier he chose the side dish.
"Do you like the satellite?" Eric Goda.
"Like warm," said Erika as she had food in her mouth.
"If you like, you can eat chicken satay every day for free but there are conditions!"
"What's the condition, brother?"
"You have to be an employee at the stall to help dad, at least serve the buyer, clean the table, wrap the food ordered by the buyer, or wash the dishes,"
"Well, a lot of work, brother!"
"Yahhh, this is just an offer from me, he said he wanted to eat chicken satay every day. Remember Deck, in today's world, there is no such thing as free,"
"Yes, too, but I'm worried that I won't know you're here,"
Erika's face looked sad. After finishing his meal he also told about his mother's condition as long as his father left the house. The brothers agreed to reunite their parents even though both realized that the matter was not as easy as turning the palm of the hand.
Erika meets her father at the stall after Eric leaves for the office. He took the time to help his father wash the dirty furniture.
By late afternoon Erika said goodbye to her father because her mother had called.
"Come here often, son, let me work with passion!"
"Ready, Dad!"
"Don't tell your mom dad that you're here! Dad was worried he'd come here and kick me out again,"
Erika was sad to hear her father's words and then she nodded her head while looking at her father with sadness.
"Here, make your side dish tonight and if your mom asks where it came from, tell me, eric bought it!" said Mr. Hendrik while giving a box containing side dishes to Erika.
"Thank you, Dad!"
"Together,"
