78. Prudent

Mr. Hendrik and Elma's mother are ready to come to Eric's house after getting a phone call from his son. Eric called his parents to celebrate a special day in his life. Her mother had thought because the current date was not the date of Eric's birth, nor the date of his marriage to Anna but her husband told her to get ready soon until the two left.

Arriving there they were surprised to see some employees were swarming cars parked in the yard and there was also Erika and Angga were self-sufficient.

"Opa, Oma, Felyn also has a new car, you know!" felyn exclaimed cheerfully. It comes near the oma and its opa because it usually always gets ole-ole from them.

"Oh, yeah," said Elma's mother.

Mr. Hendrik and his wife walked to the crowd of employees to see the car intended by his grandson.

"Good, isn't Oma?"

"Waoowww, Papa you are great!"

Anna seemed busy arranging various cakes ordered earlier to Nur's mother, residents as complex as those who every day sell cakes at the street.

After everything was ready, Eric asked his father to lead the prayer first before enjoying the various cakes that have been served.

After the drinking and eating cake together was over, the employees returned to the restaurant to continue their duties while Eric brought his new car to be stored in the garage.

Anna invited her in-laws into the house because it was very hot outside and a lot of dust was flying due to the long dry season.

"Why didn't you bring us here?" elma's mother asked Erika.

"So that Erika said she wanted to travel with Angga, but not here" said Erika.

"Instantially, you're here" her mother argued.

Erika told her father and mother how chronologically she met her brother in the middle of the road.

"Oh, so you guys have dared to go on a date to a faraway place?" ask Elma's mother to investigate.

"Near by now, ma'am, the proof is that we've come home" said Erika in self-defense.

When all had gathered, they gave a lot of advice to Erika and Angga to keep themselves and know the boundaries as a couple because their journey is still long, not to run aground in the middle of the road.

"How are your parents?" ask Elma's mother who is curious about the relationship of Mr. Gideon and Arlin's mother, their neighbor, after the Goddess enters into their lives.

"Auntie, father and mother are very rarely communicating at home, so I am lazy and want to always go out" Annga replied honestly.

"Well, naturally, your mother's attitude is like that because not everyone can easily forgive their partner if they have been betrayed" said Elma's mother.

"By the way, when did you guys get to college?" ask Hendrik. He deliberately diverted the conversation.

"Next week," Angga and Erika replied simultaneously. Both have agreed to study at the same faculty although different majors.

Towards the magrib, Hendrik and Elma's mother said goodbye, but they had just moved from their seats, suddenly Johan and Susi appeared at the door. They arrived from New town at three in the afternoon and after a short break, Susi invited Johan to come to Eric's house.

Both of Eric's parents sat back down as it felt bad to go straight home while a new guest came in.

"Ehhh, the newlyweds are home," Anna greeted with joy at seeing Johan and Susi who seemed familiar.

Susi and Johan laughed when they heard that she was called a newlywed.

"Here, there's a little ole-ole from mama-in-law!" johan said while putting a cardboard box on the table.

"Oh, bother everything," said Elma's mother.

Anna immediately opened the cardboard and took out the contents in the form of a typical New town cake made of cassava and processed manually so that it tastes very good.

"Come, please taste!" bargain Anna.

They again tasted the cake even though the stomach was still full because they had just enjoyed the cake used to welcome the new car.

Anna also presents the cake to Johan and Susi.

Susi accidentally came to see Eric and Anna because she still wanted to work as an employee at the restaurant and incidentally, Hendrik and Elma's mother were there as the owner.

Actually Johan did not agree because of Susi's condition that was pregnant but to please his wife then he also relented with one stipulation that Susi must make sure she will be okay.

"If we do, there is no problem, as long as Susi is able," said Mr. Hendrik.

"Or like this.." Eric did not continue his words but he held his head while thinking.

They were all curious waiting for Eric to continue his words.

"We also need female employees in the furniture store to take care of the employees' food, how about Susi work there anyway, Johan also works there, so you can live there too," Eric thought it very wise to make his father and mother stick their thumb at him.

Susi shed tears as she was moved by the kindness obtained from this family. He repeatedly thanked me.

The next day Johan rented a vehicle to transport his belongings to Eric's furniture store and settled there with his wife.
