Episode 50– Disappears

POV: TAKANA UTSUKI

"Oni-chan! The wall is broken again, dong!!"

Poor room Dylan-san. So it was damaged again because of the attack from Onii-chan. But. Thanks to Onii-chan, Oni who attacked Dylan It has been defeated. He fell down in the backyard and had taken Dylan's body out of his mouth.

"Dylan-san! I'll help you!"

"Ja–jangan Takana! It's dangerous!" Onee-chan held me back with both hands. I just want to keep Dylan safe with me. That's all it is!

"Onee-chan! Please! I don't want Dylan-san to be there. He could be injured from Onii-chan's battle with the Oni."

"Yes I know. But you just wait here. Let me save Dylan. It's dangerous up ahead. Now, please, just follow me for a minute."

I trust his words. He's the one who's gonna save Dylan because he's his kind brother. I'll let it go because Onee-chan is reliable.

"Now you're backing down!"

"O–oke!"

Onee-chan will use her powers in the form of a red thread that she will use to retrieve Dylan's body lying next to the Oni.

Just as soon as Onee-chan pointed her threads at Dylan. Onee-chan will be safe because Onii-chan is still holding Oni back from waking up.

When he touched Dylan's body, the threads wrapped around Dylan's limbs and lifted him up. Quickly, Onee-chan pulled the thread and Dylan was brought closer to her.

Onee-chan managed to get Dylan back. I'm so worried. Afraid he's hurt. So now I'm going to protect her. I just hugged him so no one could take Dylan's body from me.

"Everybody back off!"

Onii-chan shouted out loudly. Me and Onee-chan were surprised and looked directly at Onii-chan. He will finish the Oni off right now before the creature escapes.

But before Onii-chan had time to gather his energy, he had time to stop because he saw something strange. Slowly, the Oni's body turned into a human form. Out of curiosity, Onii-chan kept watching the Oni, but remained vigilant.

Really turned into a human!

Before long Oni's body glowed. Ejects yellow light. Onii-chan thought, That Oni will change its entire form into a perfect human being. But it turns out, suddenly after a collection of bright and dazzling light appeared, the Oni disappeared without a trace.

We were all surprised to see it. Completely disappeared. Where did the Oni go now? He really ran away. But where to?

"Oh no! If he ran away, he might come back to this house! How, dong?" onee-chan panicked as she walked over to Onii-chan. His brother Dylan was babbling at my brother. But I remained vigilant to always be close to Dylan who was in my arms. He can't go anywhere until he wakes up.

"That wasn't a real Oni, that was,"

Eh? I heard Onii-chan say something. Onee-chan also said. "What do you mean?"

"Look. Before he left, I saw that Oni wanted to turn into a human. But I was distracted by the light that appeared. Because of his slight carelessness, he was able to escape because of that light. Goddamnit!"

I just listened to Onii-chan's explanation from the front door of Dylan-san's room. Now I can't take Dylan to his room because the walls of his room are destroyed again. So where should I lay Dylan, huh?

Oh yes I know!

"Onee-chan! Oh, onee-chan! I'll borrow your room to move Dylan-san there, okay?" Of course before using the people's room, I have to ask the owner for permission first.

Onee-chan looked at me. "Eh? But my room is there... Oh yea!! I forgot!"

Onee-chan looks panicked again. Quickly, he ran back inside the house, then went to his room. I who was curious carried Dylan on my back, then walked slowly following Onee-chan. While Onii-chan will clean up the messy part of the house wall first. He will take responsibility and fix it.

"Ethan! Ethan!"

Onee-chan shouted after she entered her room. Of course I'm amazed by him. Why did he scream to call someone's name?

Eh? What... lest Onee-chan call the man she brought into the house yesterday, huh?

"Ethan disappeared!!" Onee-chan shouted back. He opened the door wide and went out of his room. I was so surprised when he screamed like that. His face looks very worried.

"Takana! Have you seen Ethan? The man in my room!!"

"Eh...? A–I don't know! Don't know!"

"Yahoooo!! She...where is she going?!"

Eh? Suddenly Onii-chan also shouted from the other direction. I'm getting shocked. I ran with Dylan on my back. Run over to Onii-chan who is standing in front of the sofa.

"Onii-chan why?!"

"I–ini... The Oni boy disappeared. It was here."

Oni's son? What was that little boy Onii-chan brought earlier, huh?

Ah, he's gone. Vanished like the big Oni. Why did everything just disappear? Even her friend Onee-chan also disappeared inside her room. A–what are they... kidnapped by someone? Just like that big Oni wanted to kidnap Dylan-san?!

"Fely! The boy disappeared!" Onii-chan shouted again. Onee-chan replied with the same problem. "My friend is missing too! He was in my room before, you know!"

"Where are they going?" I tried to ask and calm my two brothers. But the two of them are even more noisy. Until I finally felt the movement that appeared on Dylan's body.

Before long, Dylan's voice appeared. When I wanted to look at him, Dylan suddenly pushed me away from him.

"Pe–go you! Isha! Don't come near me!"

Again he yelled at me. I miss that same snatch. I'm also happy that Dylan has finally regained consciousness and his attitude hasn't changed!

"Dylan-san! You're okay, right?" I try to ask her gently. Then Onii-chan and Onee-chan also asked the same thing to Dylan who was still sitting next to the sofa.

"I–iya I'm good. By the way... What has happened here?" dylan asked coldly. Again his tone is like that. "Didn't I have that needle?"

He still remembers what happened to him! Lah? Then why is he doing it again?!

"Emm.. anu... Is Dylan sick again now?" I asked again. Because I'm still worried about Dylan. His face still looks pale.

"is fine. Not like before." The answer. I'm glad he answered my question.

"Oh, why are you two so quiet?" Dylan threw his question at the two brothers in front of him who were still looking at him with a strange look.

"Look. about that needle...."

"Eh! Oh yea! The needle that I've seen before, I've seen it hit people in bookstores. Well, he died right after getting hit by that needle. But... Why don't I?"

"Do you want to die?" ask Onii-chan.

"Not so, one eye! I'm just confused. Is that needle poisonous? And the poison in my body has been cured so I can survive?"

"It's not exactly that." Onii-chan will explain now. "You did not die because you were protected in your soul by Takana who was your darling. You've become a darling for Takana. So. there's a chance that the needle can't kill you. It can only paralyze. But if it's exposed to an ordinary human, it'll be deadly."

"Haaa. I understand now." Dylan just nodded. He stood up again, then walked slowly to his room. "I want to be pensive for a moment. Please don't bother me." His tone sounded weak.

"Tu–wait! Actually your room–"

"YYYYYYYYY!! This why again? The tanaka! Did you destroy my room again?" Dylan shouted after he saw the state of his room being super messy.

Onii-chan tries to deny and tells the story of the appearance of the big Oni who wanted to kidnap Dylan. I could only be silent while looking at them. I'm afraid that if I join, Dylan might hate me even more.

If Onii-chan and Dylan are fighting again, they look familiar like friends. I want to be Dylan's friend, too. Maybe I can only wait for the decisive time and destiny.

But I want to quickly make friends with Dylan-san! Why is it so hard?
